Here's a funny idea to help make us all some money.
1) Fake an attack and big theft on LISK 2) Have a hard Fork 3) Keep the old chain alive as LISK Classic 4) We all get free money!

Thinks must be about to improve as dolores12 has come out of hibernation!

ETC is going to have to eventually fork also if it is going to avoid the difficulty bomb. Wait, what? This isn't over yet? And there is still the possibility of yet another fork? The article wasn't clear to me if both chains would require an eventual fork. just a definite on ETH. Mind is blown. Even if Godzilla becomes involved with this at some point, I'm jaded. Charles Hoskinson who used to be with the foundation but left is now joining ETC (no joke). He announced it on Twitter. Anyway am holding both to hedge my bets.

But what is this thing with a "replay attack" ? To me that's no attack at all. If you sign a transaction that was on the old chain, then of course that signature is as valid on the new chain A as on the new chain B. Remember that what was protecting your old UTXO on the old chain was the fact that you didn't gave out a valid signature and that you were the only one being able to produce one. So once your signature is out, it is of course out for both chains. The trick is to only sign transactions that include UTXO that are only valid on one chain. For that, you need to obtain 1) DAO hacker coins or 2) DAO return address coins or 3) freshly mined coins on one of the chains. You don't need much of it: a bit of dust of one of these is enough to make a transaction that will be considered invalid on the other chain, so that you can REDO a signature, but this time on the second chain. But for sure it is not an "attack". I don't know why people call it that way. If you have given out the signature in public, of course people will use it. Yes exploit would be more accurate. Thats what people call it I think it is based on a cryptographic term where the term attack is used.

ETC is going to have to eventually fork also if it is going to avoid the difficulty bomb. Yes I think I got it a bit backwards actually. This whole thing is a big mind-fuck if you excuse the language. My head is exploding with all the new developments.

I call this BS. ETH chain has no replay problem. Only if you want to play ETH plus ETC (= prefork ETH chain) you'll have to take care. It's free money though so who won't be tempted to do it?

I think this signals the end for ETH. It will be forked to death. Well it was nice while it lasted.

If you had ETH in a wallet before the fork and took a copy, used one on the fork and the other on the non-fork you would get the same amount of ETC keeping your ETH, yes/no?
Yes as long as you made sure to keep them separate.

Huge dump of almost 100k coins , always wonder why someone would dump that much at once.
Because today I sold part of factoids and bought Ethereum. Big guts to buy eth now, with all those issues with ETC etc. Also if your the one who sold like 30k plus then you got less then you should for every coin, and i thank you for more cheap coins. Next time if you wanna sell a lot try pm me i might buy for a better price then you will get from selling into the market. Not any more. Looks like the market is making it's opinion known: Ether Wars - Ethereum Classic Price and Volume reach ATH: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@thecryptofiend/ether-wars-ethereum-classic-price-and-volume-reach-ath

Good news, Its a bit slower than i was hoping but id rather it takes a little longer and everything is all good. No point in rushing it and ending up with everything going tits up.
keep up the good work.
We've waited this long. As long as it is done properly and securely I don't mind waiting a bit longer.

You must think about this... ETH can only pump 1.5X, but ETC can pump 15X. So whos the winner? ETC will win this battle.
Surre....but ETC is only clone, clone, clone.... Nope, ETH is the clone of ETC Exactly ETC is the original unaltered censorship free ether blockchain. ETH is now the modified clone.
