Things are looking more positive BUT I AM OUTRAGED!!!  Why - because there are no pictures of babies with beards.  A crazy meme could really help spread the word.  (Also I'm not really outraged).

I agree 100% plus a full time member of the team for travel/promotion as well as some professional PR/Media representation.  These would be prerequisites for a company with ~30K BTC capital.

That's good.  The last thing the team need is to waste money on artificially propping up the price so people can dump into buy walls. That money should be used for development and promotion only.  Looks like it might be a whale manipulating things - has happened a few times prior to major FUD attempts.  Buy wall appears - FUD increases - buy wall vanishes and price collapses.  Same thing seems to be happening with RISE.

There is definite manipulation.  There is a block of 100 BTC plus orders that suddenly appeared out of nowhere - if it was a set of multiple natural buy orders there should have been a significant rise in price.  Instead it seems like someone is just putting up a buy wall with the intent of later pulling it out and collapsing the price.  It's an old whale trick to cause panic.

Edit: It has happened several times with WAVES just before a major FUD offensive.

All that said, that does not make it a scam.  The devs aren't responsible for how people trade on the exchange.  It is out of their control.  The only thing that can combat this kind of manipulation is big volume and I don't see that any time soon.

Who knows.  They said they wouldn't be putting up any more.  They also said they would not close the original thread.

If that is genuine then the price should be shooting up but it isn't or at least not yet.  Will be interesting to see what happens.

Yes Twiggy has just been here helping people.  No point in taking out your frustration on him.

Uncertainty is worse though.  I think the team need some serious PR training or need to hire someone who can do it for them - they have more than enough money to pay for it.

More info on what the issue is would be nice.  Given the DAO hack people are generally quite nervous about such things.  Would be smart to allay those fears rather than let them fester.

I recommend people use the same password for everything.  Make it 3 letters so you never forget it.  Also it's best to use just lower case so that it is easier to type.  Don't use 2FA because it is an extra hassle.  Also always keep firewalls disabled.

This is not surprising.  Bounties are going out.  Luckily its a staggered and manual process which will slow down and possibly reduce the impact.  If they all went out at the same time it would be even worse.
