It is not good to allow btc price stagnation to cause you to become overly anxious... and stagnation is actually better than having new lows...  .. but even if we get new lows, we should try to NOT allow those kinds of possible BTC price performance(s) to cause us anxiety.

Just consider that there could be two years of down and flat and that is likely among the less good (but probable) scenarios, and there ends up being really decent chances that the BTC price is going to outperform your expectations.

Thank you for your concern JJG, but I'm not really broken up.
Just bored to scalp BTC with all this sideways movement.
Other than that, sure I would love to break out over the bear line and go back to a higher range.
Patience is required obviously.

Have a good Sunday my WO brothers.

$3,750 - $3,850 is the new $3,350 - $3,450

I'm sick and I'm tired

Then I was like...'oh shit, I'm buying $200 a day on Coinbase, now I'm getting less BTC...wish it was back under $4k again'.

I wish I wasn't limited to $200 a day at these low prices.

Can someone please tell Elwar (maybe I'm on ignore) that it's his AMEX fault for the $200 limit on Coinbase.
I posted it one month ago & send him a pm also.

I'm sorry, are we going up or down right now?
 Cheesy

You tell me.

I feel so tired.

Of course I respect anybody's opinion.

Maybe I should have unloaded my stack - but I explained why I didn't.
In either case, I still don't ever see Grin reaching sub dollar prices for only one reason.
Miners.
Naturally should they flee, difficulty will drop and rewards will go up - but still never under one dollar.
I imagine that only FOMO will be enough around those prices to ensure my theory.

Finally it would be better to estimate it's price compared to BTC instead of the $.
~0.0005 BTC per Grin, is the absolute bottom imho - another ~40% down from where it currently is.

This is speculation only - as always. Grin

That's a messed up situation for the OP. I hope he gets his coins back. He did a great job sharing the story. I am safe anyway, I use Electrum 2/2 multiSig for my savings.

Actually it's a shitstorm.
Many electrum/update hacks though. Also a red flag for me.

Cold storage wallet/paper only - no hot wallets for my savings.

Hell, that is one hell of a stupid move. Why would they send private keys unencrypted anywhere?

So that they can say 'honest mistake' whilst in reality it was all intended & carefully thought out.
I can't believe they can be that reckless. Now they will have lawsuits up their ass.
Who knows how many people are/will be affected.

RIP Coinomi.

Hate to say it but I think we are gonna test 3400 again soon.  Undecided Still a bull market though and new lows will not be happening imho.

Just know that when you Bears start to have your picnic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZANKFxrcKU and start having your dreams of 1500 and 2k, we will come in with strong hands to slay you all.  Kiss

Bull mother of God, did you get a knock on the head or something?

Am I the only one thinking we will retest $4200 in the coming week?
Full retard mode ON of course. Grin

Next time you are out of hopium dude, just ask for some ffs.

Seems that CryptoDredge v0.17.0 supports c29 for 9 days now.
Hopefully will get to try it later on the day.

Added.

Actually in my opinion the best way to mine would be some kind of agreement with some hydroelectric or nuclear facility, they usually produces an energy surplus which is wasted

Or 'invest' on thorium based nuclear energy.

Get a local to run an extension cord across the border

Hah, exactly, I hope you like it. Wink

And I am talking 15 years ago! Can't even dare to imagine what kind of shithole of a country it has become now. You really don't want to go there, much less if you have any money. Really. Completely forget about it.

Thanks, but I was not even considering it - I was just saying. Grin

Venezuela is one of the cheapest places in the world (on record) to mine bitcoin because of the really cheap electricity prices. Anybody feel like going to live there for 12-18 months & setting uo a mining farm with me? Wink
I heard living there is too risky there.

Yeah, if someone had solid connections there I would consider.
Without some sort of reassurances by the locals - it's not possible.
2235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: February 26, 2019, 09:47:58 AM

Mornigzzz.

Still catching up & the storm is not helping.
Probably the worst weather I've ever seen around these parts of the world & the shit keeps coming.
Hit a falling rock with the car. Water in the house. Electricity down. Internet antennas need re-alignment. Peachy.

Actually if you combine the first three, it turns out that:

1 BTC = set for life Tongue

Morning WO's.

Catching up but, WTF?

If we are in a cycle then the answers to our far distant past lie in our far distant future

Love this paradox view point man. Anyone for a melt down? Tongue

Just closed all my longs - just in case - cos it's an all-in party weekend for me. Wink Kiss
sad trombone

Never sad to see BTC rocket jojo, even if I don't make anything on it.
I always bet long for BTC - never ever short. It's a psychological/energy emissions thing for me.
But since it appears I would have been rekt without access to the internet for almost two whole days, I think I did pretty well thank you.

The Universe is female in nature Ibian. It gives birth to things.

Debatable, but OK.
But, if you put is this way, then what is impregnating the Universe?

If I knew the answer to that my friend, I would be up for a Nobel prize.

But since we are speculating on things & physics is my hobby, I would have to go with the multiverse theory.
All universe's are tangled and intertwined between them in a constant state of superposition.
Very simply put, 'our' universe big bang, originated from another universe black hole collapse!?
The real question is how did it all that start.
2239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2019, 10:10:44 PM
Had to make a call to set the record straight. Sorry for the wall.

Me: Dad, help me out with this one because I'm a bit confused, would it be fair to say that ancient Sparta was a patriarch society or a matriarch society?
D: It was more of a patriarch society, but women did have an elevated role in that society, treated as equals - something uncommon in the world at that time. Don't forget that they were trained side by side with the men in many aspects of their training. Women were also warrior like. Slaves did the rest. Spartan mothers would motivate their children, to either come back as winners in the conflict or don't come back at all. What does that tell you?

Me: Right, I'm pretty certain that there has to be a good example of a matriarch society, maybe not the Spartans, anyone else?
D: Funny you should ask that, the most famous successful matriarch society was the Minoan Civilization.
Me: And how do you back up that statement?
D: From the elaborate findings son. Everything was about the woman - they even had that fertility goddess with the tits and the snakes remember? Young boys after riding the bull, meant they where ready to mate. In no other mixed society was woman praised so much.

Me: Right, maybe another example?
D: The Amazons for sure.
Me: Wait, that's mythology.
D: Yes but in every mythology there is some truth behind the story. Troy for example. The war did actually happen.

Me: OK, hand me my mother please. Mother, do you have anything to add?
M: In Lesbos island was the school of Sappho - which was also very advanced for the time. Women received education.
Me: A yes, that's why we have the term lesbians today. More?
M: Read Antigone and stop asking me silly questions. Dyor.
Me: But that's a play - I want facts.
M: Plays showed what concerned the society at the time.

Me: Right, you rekt me a little but never mind. Give me dad again. Last question, quote me something on feminism please. Do you support it?
D: No, it's another extreme of our times. Can't really blame them after what women have been through for centuries and still going on in some parts of the world. Things are best if balanced.
Me: Yeah obviously got pissed off with what I was reading in a forum yesterday. OK my reptilian daddy.
D: What?

Me: Nothing, do you know that Aldrete dude, I see he was in Princeton, do you know him?
D: No, he must be of the new generation son, I'm too old now. He does seem serious enough I have to say but it is not exactly his field of expertise.

Since I'm already way in profit on Grin, currently I'm a holder.
Price falling, with no signs of real support - only the usual fully bot modulated buy/sell walls.
If it moves more than 50% down of where it is ATM, I will just double buy my stack.
