Morningzzz.

Shit night's sleep & I know why.

#

You do know that they were dressed up as men and raped by their husband on their wedding night, you do know they were left to work the farm as the husbands went to essentially the mens club most of every day, you do know that they weren't allowed at these clubs, married women had to wear veils.

Shame on you for that brother.
You don't have a fucking clue, because your source(s) of history have been heavily censored by your Sultan wannabe.
Next time try something else than google.com.tr only.
What you claim was true for most of the rest of the world at the time.
Their women were beautiful and strong - and you can still see that today.

According to the course i took on antiquity at the university of Lund, the Spartan society was very much a patriarchal society, the women were a lot freer then in other Greek city states, but they certainly did not run the place.

Yes man, they had oligarchy by definition. The council of the elders took the only decisions that were to be made.
Because they had prior experience in life. Makes sense? Slaves under council and women orders run the place at a time of war.
Women had a pivotal place in society, as war was mostly the case for them.

you can´t argue with someone who claims that discussing the existence of reptilian overlords is justified historically.  Cheesy  maybe he´s trying to entertain. and his claims are so hilarious that it is actually really entertaining.

Shit man I didn't know that. Thanks, it makes sense now. My donk meter obviously failed.

Fuck your language barrier. That is a flat out lie on your part and nobody believes it, translations for literally anything exists. Try again, without the bullshit.

Don't be upset little r0ach. Start reading instead.
Fuck you also.

Goodnight.
2243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2019, 01:40:28 AM
And so communication breaks down. You made a false claim and you know it and, as always is the case in these events, you refuse to admit it.

Bullshit. I'm here.
I can't talk/prove you out of this, because you apparently are not that open minded.
Also is that little language barrier.
You can claim what ever you want, but it doesn't make it so.

You prove all the bullshit you previously mentioned.

By the way I'm not a feminist or anything.
But we are equal.
I just don't agree that women are only for breeding.
If you find the right one, she will elevate you as man.
2244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2019, 01:30:02 AM
You claimed Sparta was a matriarchy. Justify it.

It was. Nothing to justify.
You don't speak Greek and I cannot be your translator.

The idea that it was a Matriarchal society is just the most wrong thing I have heard, and knowing greek doesn't change this in any sense.

Can you give me a source on that please?

Of course knowing Greek doesn't change anything. Or does it a little?
Since we are talking about Greece, the total search results I can find in my native language should differ a little from any other language don't you think?
2246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2019, 01:18:39 AM
Sideways. This is as good a use of the thread as any.

Women serve social functions. Obviously. In all cultures. That does not make it a matriarchy.

What is your overall point?

My overall point is what I have already expressed (in Greek & in English).

You are what you are, mainly because of your childhood.
If their children didn't have the right stimulation from their educated mothers to start with, then their society wouldn't have been what it was.
Also they managed everything, so their husbands were free to fight.
2247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2019, 12:56:44 AM
OK, I offered to have this debate through pm's if you wanted. Never mind. I stop here.

You know of course that the women had the right to speak and be heard in the council of the elders, right?
You know women were considered as equal in ancient Sparta right?
You know it was the women that bread Spartan warriors until a certain age right?

This doesn't sound much of a biological function only dude.

2248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2019, 12:44:10 AM
What do slaves most want? To become the masters obviously. There were revolts, and there was always the risk of revolts. They had to be as strong as they could be simply to survive. That's also why they culled the strongest slaves.

This were we disagree. Slaves want freedom - not to become masters.
As tough as Spartans were with their slaves, their society was in balance.
It was working. Because their women could handle it when the men were gone.
Because the women were educated. And that is the key word my friend.

Educated = strong.

Okay so you know nothing about them. That's fine. Read up on the agoge and the slave to spartan ratio.

Read Aγωγή? Ha, if you say so.
What does the slave ratio have to do with anything?
2251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2019, 12:14:04 AM
Sparta were the men. They were a warrior culture.

Nope. Honestly I expected a better answer from you.

Their men were the best warriors because of their matriarch society. End of story.

There is no historical record of a culture that devalued men that survived.

The Amazons? No, that's mythology.

Spartan women then? 'Nation' of Sparta? Will that do? I'm sure there are more.

Why are men devalued you say?

Exactly.
People in general tend to just talk about their dreams instead of actively pursuing them.

I think it’s cool what he’s done but it wouldn’t be for me. What are the chances of a Tsunami ever happening where he’s situated? If that happens it’s lights out for Elwar.

Well it wouldn't be much of a venture if a tsunami (or just water rising) has not been taken into account.
Can't be bothered to find it, but Elwar has explained that the whole stead will rise without even noticing (exaggerating a bit imo).
BTW, he hasn't logged in for 15 days. Undecided

edit: jojo beat me to it.
