1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [3000+ BTC RAISED] TaaS: Token-as-a-Service | Closed-End fund [JOIN ICO] on: April 13, 2017, 02:49:23 AM
Can we start asking some questions about how they plan on making money with the TaaS fund to benefit investors?
Its beginning to look scary with everyone constantly saying how TaaS will be great but no one asking why.

What sort of credentials or portfolios has the TaaS team have to show that they are capable of managing such a large fund?

I would also like to know that. TaaS, you now have a large fund, how are you going to invest/trade? Will you hire people to do this or do it yourself? If the latter is true, who will take on this task from your team?

Lets see what u need to manage 3K btc fund. Access to the internet and keyboard. Ah and mouse. That is all u need to lock ur funds into a personal wallet or put them into a mixer if u are a paranoid, and after its anonymized a bit, put them into ur wallet. This was their aim from the get-go. Since bitcoin weights zero it makes no difference to them how much btc to run away with.

I've read the white paper regarding their investment methodology, and yes they've made some good points. While no solid plan was laid out, it may still be worth it to at least give them a try.

Regarding the trading, I suppose they're gonna base the trading on algorithms, predictions on price movements and that.

Okay, anyone getting their feet wet into this?

Seems interesting but lacking real details.
1043  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Other Alternatives for Earning Bitcoin besides Signature Campaigns? on: April 12, 2017, 08:41:31 AM
Create a Bitcoin-related site (not a faucet, they are not profitable nowadays) and when you start getting more traffic apply for being a publisher at Bitcoin ad networks like Mellowads, coinzilla, ppcadmedia etc. and start earning advertising revenue.
Don't expect to become rich but 0.01 BTC per week is a feasible goal after a few months, good luck.

A good way but don't just limit yourself to a BTCBTCBTC-niche. Find something more profitable, like review sites.
1044  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3000+ on sight for this year after BUcoin disaster on: April 12, 2017, 08:24:34 AM
I think that 2000$ level is a good target for this year considering it is over 50% rise from current price, and I dont expect something bigger in 2017, but actually the BU disaster may give up so much strength to bitcoin core that we will see it in this year.

I hope that hard fork is not going to happen, because it may cause many problems at the exchanges, and on the other sites.

I would rather choose SegWit if it was up to me, but it is the choice of the miners, not me.

Too early for that IMO, BTCBTCBTC would attract so much eyes and eager investors that it'll implode on the slightest of problems.
1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: April 12, 2017, 07:27:10 AM
Bitcoin's trading at 1221.83 right now. I still remember the good old 250 days. Wish I bought in back then... oh well. hopefully we see 1300 soon after all the drama settles

Probably next month? Oh wait, the drama never settles does it.  Smiley
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 12, 2017, 04:59:43 AM

As for the Clippers, they had a bad season but I think if they get it together in the playoffs they can even reach the West finals, they have a lot of experience and a great coach/core of players. If they fail, I think it will be the end of an era with the big three leaving (CP3, Jordan & Griffin).

As a whole, Im not seeing Los Angeles Clippers had a bad season. They clinched the 4th spot in the Western Conference and that is difficult to achieved if we compare the team to Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets. Also some of their games are being missed by their key starters but still able to managed at the top spot.

And surely they will finished this season with 7 game winning streak if they able to pin down Kings in their next game which have a decent chance.

You're right it's not a bad season per se but it's definitely mediocre, the Clippers were kinda outshined by the Rockets which no-one thought they were gonna do so well. I still think the Clippers have a much better chance to advance and make a deep run than the Rockets honestly. The playoffs are a whole different game and D'Antoni teams always excel on the regular season but the lack of defense and frantic gameplay style don't fly at this stage where gritty defense and slow pace is king.

Memphis is another team that can do very well although they are not playing their best either.
Clippers are really good, they are slowly getting into shape and seeing Blake and Paul healthy again, I guess that combo is nice to watch. They can make good defense against a stronger team, I will not even be surprise if they can beat the Spurs in the playoffs. However, I still believe that the Warriors owned the clippers, AFAIK the Clippers has not won one game against the warriors this season.

They match up good with the Jazz, I see this series is gonna be good, maybe even to a game 7.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 10, 2017, 02:22:44 PM
The Rockets played good last night, if they would do better than that I'd say they have a chance for the West Conference playoffs at the least.

So how many more games does westbrook have to go to get the ultimate title?
I watched the Oklahoma Thunder game waiting for him to get that one last rebound to break it.
After that I lost interest to watch the next game and it is a work day if they did play on Thursday.
When is it tonight? If so then i will be watching it since it's a Friday night and can stay up this time to watch it until the end.

All remaining games is important for him since it's a big additional to his stats if in every game there will be a boost to his play. If he will missed even by one, it can be the reason for him being behind by his rival, James Harden.

There are only 4 games remaining to them. You can view their upcoming schedule by just typing "Oklahoma City Thunders" or a simple "okc schedule" at the Google search bar or for more detailed one you can check their subpages at the NBA site.

http://www.nba.com/thunder/schedule/

So Russell Westbrook will need just 1 triple double to break the record of Oscar Robertson. So basically 1 out of 4 games. I think he can break the record in his next game against Phoenix. When will be the voting for the regular season MVP starts btw? In the beginning of the season, I though that Durant or James or Leonard will battle it out for the MVP, but its down to Harden and Westbrook I guess.
Yes now I do see them playing the Suns tonight.
But now they are questioning whether he will even dress for the second quarter. So the streak continues. Grin
Westbrook got 7 turnovers already and he is the only one who got that with 5:39 minutes to play in the 3rd quarter. I guess he can have not just triple double tonight but a possible quadruple double with turnovers. Anyway, I'm excited to witness Westbrook making history.
He was one shy of doing it.
I think he is doing it on purpose actually so he can get it accomplished in front of the home team fans in the next game in Oklahoma.
That would be a nice gesture by him if he does infact do it in this fashion. Cool

Well, it doesn't matter much. He's having a huge season that's true, but the real battle is in the playoffs.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 03, 2017, 04:37:33 PM
Speaking of triple-double thing....

..Russell Westbrook established his 40th triple double this season although a game loss against the Charlotte Hornets, 113 - 101. The MVP race is getting heating up with his only close rival, his former fellow teammate, James Harden.

With few remaining games this season for all teams, no single game must gone to waste by both Westbrook and Harden. Every single stats is an important factor for them to acquired the MVP title this season.
So it is officially he just needs one more to go to tie the record?
Then if he gets a second one within the next week before the post season starts then he will be the all time record breaker?
Really?! WoW!

Well Harden was absent in the Phoenix game, due to flu-like symptoms but probably he was just advised to rest his wrist because everyone noticed his shooting's been off the last 3 games.

At this point, the playoff picture would be Harden vs Westbrook for the 1st round. Seems exciting!

what a win from bulls, getting back behind 10points in the final quarter and the stars took charge fans really enjoyed watching rondo and butler
carrying their team, its so nice if they can play big like this from time to time still got some guts from rondo what a game.
Yeah good for them I thought they will never win that game because of the 10points spread hopefully the bulls will made it to the playoffs right now they are in #7 spot

While it is spectacular, we all know Rondo isn't capable of playing with others consistently. That guy has too much of a basketball IQ.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 02, 2017, 02:07:19 AM
They are not "throwing" games of course, it's just that this season was very complicated for the Cavs. The roster was again not properly get together with the losses of Delly and Mozgov. Again they had to bring in new players and while they did great in terms of getting the best talent for nothing (Korver, both D-Williams, Bogut and Sanders) they have failed to mesh with the rest so far.

On top of that there's certain some fatigue of having no real challenge until the NBA finals. I'm not saying the Cavs are in the NBA finals already, but that's what people expect. There's also the championship hangover factor. Plus some players are underperforming compared to last season to the point they are almost unplayable (Frye, Thompson, JR Smith).

With all that being said, if the Cavs have a couple of good games at the start of the playoffs and start gaining momentum when it actually counts then it will all be forgiven and forgotten. That's the bottomline.

Actually with this coming playoffs you're no longer sure. I believe the Celtics has a legitimate chance of upsetting the Cavs should they play the same level like they did this season, with the continuing 'woes' of the Cavs. Even the Raptors I suppose.
1052  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can break above $1,100 again? on: April 01, 2017, 03:55:05 PM
Here we go again, the cycle continues.  Grin Grin Grin

Hopefully this time it's not a trap.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 01, 2017, 03:52:41 PM
Man, HOU is on a 3-game losing skid. Harden's wrist sure looks troubling, I hope they can recoup come playoff time. Same with the Cavs, if this goes on, there's gonna be no more competition to the West.
1054  Economy / Speculation / Re: So you decide to sell now that Bitcoin is < $1000? on: March 27, 2017, 01:27:15 PM
It's actually back to four digits again and seems to be recovering even more. Might be a good sign, or just a trap. I'm not sure at this point, so holding is the better option.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: March 27, 2017, 11:51:56 AM
Houston 137-125 Oklahoma

Every season we watched a very enjoyable match was almost top.
Westbrook has done a brilliant performance with 39 points. But we can say that it was not enough to get this match. I expected the same performance by Harden, but we can say that it did not work very much. I wish every match is like that.

The lower playoff seeds in the West are still not established, so this matchup may actually be a preview of what's gonna come this coming playoff season.
1056  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: StartMiner,is it trustworthy? on: March 26, 2017, 02:47:45 PM
Big time scam, an obvious one.

As soon as alts have started going up, these ponzi assholes started emerging from their caves.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO SCAMMERS!

Such a sad world we live in, obviously.

Anyway you should only transact in established sites/companies, like HashNest.

Is this a new cloud mining service? The current state of difficulty of Bitcoin mining makes it an impediment for new miners to be profitable. Almost all of them will not be as efficient as the Chinese miners with their data center mining farms.

It's just a rehashed scam scheme.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: March 26, 2017, 01:42:36 PM
Well in any way, this kids goibg to be talked about for a long time. I mean even if we say that most defense played are garbage, or he took that manu shots, its still the nba and scoring 70 points in thr nba is still a phenomenal feat yhough only on a personal level. Hr may not be or become as good as those with him in the 70 point company but this would be something to remember

Isn't this just that kid's 2nd season in the league? His future is bright IMO.
1058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Up And Down on: March 26, 2017, 01:41:45 PM
They really are, big whales do manipulating the bitcoin price. Those groups are just doing the dumping and pumping the coins, so they are making a lot of profits consistently for having that advantage. One of them is the chinese group which have the half amount of bitcoin network.

I suppose it's reflective of the state of BTCBTCBTC right now - so confusing and uncertain.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying ETH instead of shorting BTC - good idea? on: March 26, 2017, 01:04:52 AM
yeah - it looks like right now we are rebounding - so I'll save the idea for the next time.

It's not entirely too late to do shorts now, it's still on the early rebound phase IMO.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: March 26, 2017, 12:59:45 AM
Anyone heard that Joakim Noah has been positive for a doping drug? He's suspended for 20 games.

Anyhow,

the first game ended for Los Angeles Clippers , still 2 games , i'm sure that Cleveland will win ,but as you said Spurs are Volatile in their games but it's gambling so i hope that the game will end with Over 210.5 Points .

Over 210.5 for a Spurs game is quite unlikely, although I hope you still win.
