SELLING COMPUTER PARTS

I think you should put this topic in the COMPUTER HARDWARE Section. And add some more details about your service, where to find you, MOP, and other things such as Pictures of the parts, et al. If you will just let your thread look like that, I think you have difficulties finding customer since in doesn't look interesting.
322  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: April 11, 2017, 01:28:33 AM
Hi,

Hope I posted in the right board and totally new to this investing bitcoins.

I got under 0.1 bitcoin lending on poloniex but rates are too low for a good return.

Where is the best place to Invest bitcoins with the best returns and lowest risk?

Thanks,

You cannot find investments with high return and have less risk. Those investments with low returns are the safe once. Simply put, those investments that offer higher returns are those Ponzi sites or the scam sites. They are offering those kind of things in order to attract more investors then run. On the other hand, legit investments offer low return because they are computing the right dividend to spread to its investors exactly based on your invested capital.

I suggest you invest your money in trading, this involve high risk, but depends on your skills and knowledge about the coin you are trading. But later on, will surely give you profit as you master the right timing on where to buy or sell.
323  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: April 10, 2017, 01:42:23 PM
you forgot to mention low fees.

I think that is in the past, transacting bitcoin with fast confirmations and low fees are history, nowadays you need to add more fees so that your transaction can be comfirmed quickly, without these additional fees, it will take you almost a day to get or receive that bitcoin. I think I love bitcoin and I invest most of money here because it is the future of currency and also transacting currencies.Bitcoins system can be implemented by many more systems and be the root of the new innovative discoveries.

Of course, Blockchain has improved and before, the reason why the transaction with bitcoin is fast is because the number of transactions before was significantly low if we are going to compare to now.  That's why they implemented having different and higher fees to overcome the size of blocks that need to be confirmed and in order for them to prioritize some transactions. That is also to fuel the miners to confirm our transactions, in return. In order for them to gain profit.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My bitcoin are definitely lost ? on: April 10, 2017, 01:02:49 PM
Hello,

Yesterday I tried to sell bitcoin for cash. I'll not enter in the details, but the two guys I met were magician.
I verified if the cash was real and it was.
But, I don't know how, theses guys replace the real cash by counterfeit cash in the small handbag they gave to me.
I saw nothing...

And now I lost 10 btc.

I think it's impossible, but I would like to know if there's 1 little possibilities to get my bitcoin back, even if it's illegal because now I have no money.
They didn't use the bitcoin for the moment.

Thank you..

Seriously? Why did you trust them in the first place. Converting bitcoin into fiat can be done online and it is more safer. You can just withdraw it in banks. People nowadays are hard to be trusted, I suggest if you are trading with some persons you didn't know. Try to have a companion since you are transacting large amount of money. Anyways, your'e money is gone, you can report in in the police since you've met them right? That's the only way I think.

I think I've already knew Yocoin since I've been trading some Altcoins in the past. And I hope this exchange will become successful and I found it convenient to use this exchange rather than other exchange because I can assure that my Money is secured. Good luck in your site. Grin

328  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: April 08, 2017, 12:04:36 PM

Some day in the future, you will realize that the best time to invest was not today, but some other day in the future, when prices were low. But with the information that you have today, the best time to invest is still today, because you do not know when prices will be low, and you do know that the longer you hold your investment, the more time it has to grow.

Toughts?
Even now,its a right time to buy because bitcoin price is 41190 today and its predicted price is $2000 for 2017 end.But if you had bought it last month when its price was $900 due to BU issues, you would have got more benefits.Just as we cant say that we are late to start using internet now, same is the case with bitcoins.

When we talks about investing with Bitcoins. As soon as possible, it is right to invest, why? Simple, tracing back when I started knowing Bitcoins (last year) the price was ranging from $500-$600 peak I think. Then right now it reaches its peak $1400 then stabilizing at $1100-$1200. We can see the improvement of its price in just a small amount of time. So, if I hold my Bitcoins from where I started, I can say that it doubles. That might also happen in the next years as Bitcoin is continually making its name and more and more companies are seeing its potential. So, if you are planning to invest in Bitcoin. Do it ASAP, the price will rise and may even reach $2000 as they predicted.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: April 08, 2017, 09:56:21 AM
Trading seem to give a good return if you know what you are doing and/or lucky. Else, you could just lose your capital. I haven't started trading myself (just buying btc every now and then) but I suppose I'd just start small. Don't go all in in something your not familiar with.

As for investment, I'm not sure what you meant. If you mean investing btc into something that also pay btc, then be extra careful. There are plenty of sites there that would gladly take your bitcoin promising you good returns and then just run off with your money.

For people who are not comfortable with either trading or investing, maybe you can just buy and hold. Buy btc when it's low, cash out some when it's high, and then when it crashes again use that money to buy more.
Based on your statement and the last paragraph. I think it is all about trading because even though you investing you will still sell it for a higher price which is same as the principle of trading. You are not investing because you are trading, you will just choose if what you're gonna be in. In short term or long term Roll Eyes.

Investing though it is some kind of trading, it is somewhat different from each other. Trading requires active presence of the investor or the capitalist. Because you have to continuously analyze the movement of the market to gain from its fluctuation. You need to have to spend some time every day to check the market and choose what coin is best to trade.

On the other side, Investing does not require active presense (depending on what investment you've invested for) one good example, investing in gambling bankrolls. You just invest and you can leave it there. Just need to select the legitimate investment and beware of Ponzis and other scam investment (such as Bitcoin Doubler and other scams)
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin transaction unconfirmed since two days now on: April 08, 2017, 09:27:20 AM
Way too low fees. Use this website to determine what fees you should use for the fastest transaction: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/
Right now it says (and I quote) "The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 140 satoshis/byte, shown in green at the top.
For the median transaction size of 226 bytes, this results in a fee of 31,640 satoshis."

Great site, this is the main mistake users are doing when sending their Bitcoin in the Blockchain. Because they don't know the right fee to be paid in every unique transaction, they are either waiting for too long before the Transaction is processed, or they are putting so much fees which is not necessary in the size of BTC that need to be confirmed. That site helps them identify the right amount of fees to be paid and if everyone will have a proper knowledge about that thing, that might solve the problem of waiting for too long in order for their transaction to be confirmed.
331  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why it is said that bitcoin is centralized? on: April 08, 2017, 08:50:40 AM
Bitcoin have centralized mining indjustry.
Bitmain is making 70% of Asics and controls mining.
As he get a lot of power it refuse any changes that would harm his earnings .
But we see that now ETH is getting like 80% of $$$ from mining .
In long run people will muve to mosre advanced coin that is Etherum but miners don't give a fuck to that they want get more fish by draining lake.

look like ETH is winnin at BTC civil war Smiley
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/transactions-btc-eth-dash-ltc.html

BTC fall in transaction while ETH have sustain rise in transactions.
Free market works and spoken.

So, does that mean that ETH will soon overpower Bitcoin and may even surpass its price? Yeah it's true, Bitcoin has become centralized since the main control is in the miners. Huge companies that mine Bitcoin has the power whether to change the protocol of that Bitcoin or not. I believe they are also the Whales that controls the price of Bitcoin in the market. And, they are in connection with the Bitcoin core team which are the most powerful individuals. They hold the decision whether change in Algo or protocol.(but it needs the approval of the majority before making a step)
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 ways you can save on transactions fees today on: April 08, 2017, 08:33:58 AM
Also, there are some wallets which do not require fees when sending/receiving fees. Just like coins.ph, it is the wallet that is mainly used in Philippines as it allows us to convert BTC into Fiat and withdraw it in certain remittance centers, banks and other partner companies. The cons is you'll have to wait for some time before the transaction will be confirmed. But, if you are not rushing, why not do the transaction with no fees right?

Now, how do they maintain they service if they don't collect fees from transaction? Simple, they are taking advantage to the fluctuations of Bitcoins price and that makes them profit (as what I have said earlier, it allows us to convert BTC to fiat). And, they are charging fees whenever we are withdrawing (depending on the transaction that you choose, some withdrawals don't have fees.)

Sorry I don't have a positive rep or made any deals in the past. But, I can be a middle man in case you really cannot find anyone. Or, you can just put it in bitify.com since they have automatic escrow. Just need to pay some fees. I think thats 0.001-0.0015 BTC.

Can you explain bitify escrow? How does it work?
The company holds the money? When they release them?

Yeah. Once the buyer pays for the product you are selling, the funds will be held by the escrow or the company. Then if the buyer already got the product. Then he/she will have an option either refund the money ( if not satisfied) or release the funds (if satisfied). Once the buyer releases the fund. It will be sent to you.

In addition, the fee is payed by the buyer so you will not have to worry about that.

Again, if you didn't find it convenient. I can act as middleman in your transaction.

I hope that helps.
336  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a middle man on: April 06, 2017, 04:15:23 PM
So are you asking for an escrow? You want someone to hold the Amazon code?

Yes, preferably using join.me since I sell links you apply as amazon balance.

If you still don't have a customer you can ask these people on the list to escrow your transaction. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
There are some that aren't listed but make sure when someone offers you an escrow service look at his trust.

I did, my customer also. No one reposnded, maybe because we're new.

All I need is user with few years here who did some deals before and have positive rep.

339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: April 02, 2017, 09:34:22 PM
I have never used a dice bot but I can see a benefit. If you use a betting strategy like martingale where you have to make very small bets, it takes forever to make any profit. A bot would speed it up quite a bit.

Most certainly not. MGale is like the worst possible thing to add into a bot. It will eventually identify your pattern and then your money is gone.

Yeah. I've tested using the Martingale in Bot and at first it generates profit. But, as time passed. I can see that more and more red bets are appearing and soon. My money (inc. my capital) is gone. Before Martingale is very effective and even if you are not focused on your PC. You can assure that your capital is growing. But, nowadays its impossible. Well knowned sites such as Bitsler, Primedice, et al. I think they already has a protocol in opposed to Martingale strategy.

Maybe it is highly effective in sites which are new. But I don't think it is safe to gamble there since they don't have the reputation yet and they may run with your money.
340  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: April 02, 2017, 04:55:52 AM
Both ways are need for some basic capital and investitions. To trade you need big sum of money to feel the profit and for mining you have to buy necessary equipment, which is not so cheap, so, you have to look at all pluses and minuses of both mathods to decide what is better to you.

ROI in mining is much longer. To make a profit in mining, it is necessary to make big investments. And the return time of this investment is very long.
It makes more sense to trade with the money I will give to mining equipment. At least time it is possible to earn less quickly.

Yeah. Both requires some sort of capital but if you are new in trading, you don't need a large capital. It is recommended to start with only a small amount of capital to minimize the loss of money because trading is very tricky. It is normal that you will loose money in the start. But, if your capital is growing, you can now deposit a bigger amount of capital.

In mining, this requires somewhat large capital in order to buy the best mining hardware. Also, this requires deep technical knowledge and a good place (a cold place and low electricity bill) as it is the requirement in mining. And you should select the proper coin you will mine that would give you a decent profit.
