Coinexchange.io is Closing Down 01/10/2019
It is with great regret that we must inform the community that the board of directors of CoinExchange.io has decided to close down the exchange.
This is purely a business decision and there has not been a security breach or any other type of incident. Unfortunately it is no longer economically viable for us to continue offering market services. The costs of providing the required level of security and support now outweigh our earnings.
Trading and deposits will be suspended on the 15th of October 2019. Please cease any deposit and trade activity as soon as possible.
The website and withdrawals will remain operational until the 1st of December 2019. We ask that you please remove all funds by this date.
It has been a fantastic journey and we have enjoyed playing a part in the crypto currency space. We thank everyone that has traded or listed a currency with us.
So sadly it is goodbye for now however we may return in the future if market conditions change. Source: https://www.coinexchange.io/news/post/85/Welp, better withdraw your GLT.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOTO] Motocoin PROOF-of-PLAY [NEW BOT] Human Mineable -Play Game to Mine- 3yrs+

Great article, thanks. I should also tell you, to try to combat bots, a proof-of-work was added to map generation in a hardfork by HunterMinerCrafter. This was because bots filter thousands of maps until one with a near straigh line to the coin is found. With the added proof-of-work measure, it takes more cpu power to generate maps so bots wouldn't be able to filter through so many, however obviously the maps still generate too fast and the bots still win. Maybe there could be a hard-fork in the future that increases the difficulty of this proof-of-work a bit more.

Hi there. I have got several questions about Motocoin. 1) I tried to press "Play to mine", but nothing happens. No window, no process, nothing. Is it normal? I replaced motogame.exe from original Motocoin wallet instead of bot. It didn't help either. Maybe it requires some special libraries or should I completely re-install my wallet? Replaced motogame.exe seems usable, but it doesn't launch from GUI anyway. 2) Is it possible to mine this currency, anyway? How many coins do you mine a week/a day? 3) Where is it possible to exchange Motocoin? Yobit doesn't allow to create a wallet, and Digitalprice seems dead.
The coin is pretty much dead. The "new developers" seem to be a pump group. The motogame bot is supposed to launch from the wallet's GUI but it only appears as a new process, not as a GUI window.. You can't really human mine it anymore, and someone seems to have a bot that is much better than the current public bot so there isn't really much hope for mining. Doesn't seem like there are any legit exchanges for motocoin either. Maybe you could try to do an OTC trade but I don't know who would have motocoins. Maybe in the future I'll have a crack at trying to create a bot, but right now I only know C. Though C++ doesn't seem that large of a step up.

Quoting first post to save code We are looking for a developer. If you are a developer and would like to help out Motocoin, please PM me (e1ghtSpace). Right now we need a bot that can compete against the one currently dominating the game. You will be rewarded, of course.

Motocoin is a cryptocurrency utilizing an innovative proof-of-play scheme where coins can only be mined by cognitive workload - playing a 2D motorbike simulation game, which is different from Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies that use a proof-of-work scheme where miners must perform difficult computations and then use proof of that work to secure coin transactions and get their reward. Motocoin has been dominated by bots but now a fast, publicly available bot has been released, giving everyone a fair chance at mining.

Hey e1ght, I'll talk in here I'm working on setting up a dev environment on a VPS and documenting how to get setup for submitting a pull request to the crown-core repo. We are about to open up the gitlab source code and start getting devs from the community to work on things they're interested in. I'm also working on the verbiage for the new roadmap milestones; trying to make sure everything is able to be understood by the non-technical folks in the room! What have you been working on? Still in school? -fin Hey fin, That sounds really good. I've been working with Chimaera, but I won't shill in this thread. I'm doing university now, studying Computer Science. I've got two programming assignments due this friday. (C and Python) In one assignment (C) we have to improve a frogger clone (microcontroller w/ a 16x8 LED matrix). The other involves improving a tower defence game. -e1ght
