Maybe we should make a list of people that are willing to show what amount of coins they've still got stuck in Fibre, and calculate the total amount.
That way we can start up discussions on what the combined group is willing to invest into restoring a running blockchain.
To lead by example: I own 3000 Fibre, and i'm interested in getting this coin back to running order.
Alright, can you sync at all? I don't have the blockchain. Also, I have no coins, I just wanted to see what was left on cryptsy. Does anyone except us care? There is work being done in the back ground with new specs to get the chain going again. I'll run my wallet and try to get some active nodes or we may need to wait for the new wallet release that should be out soon. Really? Who is working on it?  Sorry for my ignorance but this is cryptrader or tradingview? I ask because it has the same layout and tradingview symbol but it does not have the same indicators and the address is cryptrader, I was confused. thank you. Its cryptrader  It's also similar to coinigy... maybe I should stop paying the monthly fee. |

This project is indeed still being actively developed.
Due to nature of BitTorrent sharing, we have been experimenting with the possibility of migrating ZEC's zero-knowledge to VTR core to improve users anonymity and try to do without needing of reseting the current chain.
vTorrent 0.9.1z will be the first version to incorporate the zero-knowledge protocol and if resetting the chain is needed, there could possibly be a fork of vTorrent-Classic running by community keeping the 0.8.x chain.
There are some other plan along with this new chain, which is still being in discussion in our team.

You've lost all trust with your investors, why should we believe a word you say? If you do not believe in the Dev team there is no need to bullying around here. We should all try to keep this thread as objective as possible and discuss technical issues and the development of the project rather than blaming the Dev. The problem which is tackled with vTorrent is huge. So is the opportunity and the vision. This project could potentially be the first blockchain B2C use case after sending around virtual money. A project/company cracking that code and having such a use case could easily be worth hundreds of millions. vTorrent would not even need the current crypto craziness to justify such a valuation. How am i bullying? The dev goes silent for months on end and does not deliver what he said he would, so you and your shill/alternative account can go jump. Exactly. I'm starting to think this whole project is a scam. |

i will not be here ( bct ) much - as my role in all that is cwi is focused more on the backend - predominantly 'thefarm' ( the actual mining ) and 'thegrid' ( the platform thefarm is sitting on - as well as the development of the cwi-cooling system for all gpu-based and asic-based mining systems ... this is also one of the reasons why the op is still not updated ... apart from the fact im VERY bad at doing these sorts of things ( especially making them 'pretty' ) - we here at cwi all agree with the responses that time needs to spent on all our threads to have them updated - even at the very least with the basic info ...
