Yep....so far spectrproject has been a winner....with a bright future.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: April 20, 2017, 12:32:38 PM
What are people's thoughts on the Spectrecoin developers implementing a masternode feature?

This is just some random idea I came up with as an avid XSPEC supporter so wanted to get everybody's ideas on this.

I don't think it is going to happen soon; XSPEC is just the backbone network for Spectre.Cash, it's meant to be a medium of exchange, not meant for hoarding. Masternodes are just "out of scope" at this point IMO. Especially at the current stage of project there are way more important things to do.

Agreed, supply will always be low and value high....spectre.cash p2p android  app is the important part.

Fudders are like gum on your shoe.....they come and they go.
One was a really obnoxious sdc fan.....he's been kind of scarce.  Grin

Coming together nicely now.  Cool
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: April 16, 2017, 02:00:45 PM
Monero will soon become a complete anonymous network.
Spectrecoin also feels better to build a similar network in the future.

You need to read the Spectreproject website.....https://spectreproject.io/
Click on "compare"....and do read the rest as well. There's a lot to learn about xspec.

The xspec wallet and network runs on TOR network. https://www.torproject.org/

Nothing else is required. Isn't it great?!  Cool

227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: April 12, 2017, 05:51:15 AM
Current versions...the windows one has the 1000 trades feature (many small trades) and the Supergun feature follows more the ups and downs of a coin.
Linux is more Supergun only.
Settings come with defaults and I recommend using those until you get a feel for the bot and how it operates.

Looking forward to adding Bittrex and Kraken Gunbots!  Cool

Interesting project.....tried to look around the website and here.....so the mining network runs on TOR, what about the wallet?
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: April 08, 2017, 12:40:58 PM
Given the success of the new dev group.....an ICO would be great!  Cool
Count me in!

Smiley Very interesting...I would like to try it.. So briefly could you actually explain which version should I get - for windows 7 Home Premium
System type 64-bit
RAM 4,00 GB
Processor Intel(R)Core(TM)i5-2430M CPU @ 2,40 GHZ

Would you recommend to get just GUNBOT or what would be the best way to perform with...you did mention something on amazon Vp..I don;t remember.. cost is 0.1 so let me know with further details please man.

I bought back in late february. First of all, computer specs don't matter that much becasue the bot doesn't use a lot of resource. What IS important is how fast and stable your net connection is. Ran a few days on windows version to get a feel for the Gunbot. My net going down from the time to time was hard on the bot. I switched to a hard wired desktop at work. I found the ultimate is to run linux version on a VPS , the free VPS around are kind of a hassle. For $5 a month I have a fast, stable vPS and no worries about my Bot.

Here's the deal, Gunbot will make you money. so don't go el cheapo. There's a large user base now, a forum coming on line....and a dev that absolutely supports his bot.

Starting to sound like a shill but, first 10 days I paid for my bot, the vps is 5 bucks .....that's nothing.
PM me if you have any questions or would like a referral deal.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: April 04, 2017, 03:15:21 PM
Oh you're right, forgot that it's routed through tor. I also think we should discuss what is doable, because when the price of spectre rises, people will be staking with sizeable amounts. Having a wallet online, which holds a lot of coins, is a security nightmare, even if it's encrypted and you only have to type in your passphrase after every restart. I'll rather keep it offline.

Since XSPEC was an ICO coin that is only Proof-of-Work....at a 5% annual rate.
there will never be "sizeable amount" as far as coin amounts. Current supply is just over 20 million.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/spectrecoin/

XSPEC is aiming for sizeable value though.  Cool

But, having said that.... we all share your enthusiasm, now is a great time to build your XSPEC holdings.

Hey, I am a newbie here so I didn't catch whether your bot really works on MAC or not. Is it a best possible solution to buy a dedicated server for that? Thanks.

Just go with a VPS ....easy to setup, gunbot doesn't take a lot of resources....
so you can use one that's only a few dollars a month.

DBIX looking interesting.  Cool

Truly a new era for Virtacoin.
Congratulations on the success of all your hard work.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: March 29, 2017, 10:12:46 PM
There is no need for any coin to develop a marketplace...
a bust everytime.

If anything came up in the investors channel it must have been quickly squashed....
because I sure don't remember it.

Besides xspect is all about spectre.cash and the android app....
the desktop wallets are for maintaining the network by staking at the 5% annual.

its really an exciting, simple... privacy coin.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: March 29, 2017, 03:34:44 PM
freaking figures....after months of the bottom of the barrel...I put up 10 million at 3 and 10 million at four sats and go to bed.
i had been holding 40 million at one time.
Damnit hate it when that happens
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: March 28, 2017, 08:49:29 PM

Wasn't there a coin already with TOR integration?

If there is/was.....it hasn't had the success that XSPEC has had so far.....ie: a dev team that has been steady working ( and dealing with some issues unique to xspec)....listed on 6 exchanges so the trading public can pick some up.

Cryptopia, C-CEX,Nova Exchange, Livecoin, CoinGather and Trade Satoshi. Maybe those aren't Polo but good solid exchanges in that group.

Has come out of its iCO with solid steady value and listed with https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/spectrecoin/#markets

And a good slack channel that regulars (and devs) are on most everyday.

Yes the windows wallet has some quirks, but its basics are there....sending receiving and staking.

On slack we all try to help people with synch problems....but I've setup on my own computers probably close to over 50 wallets ( or more) over the years and I defy you to go on any coin thread on BCT and not find people that post ...."Help...having a synch problem"....
More often than not, its a problem in the users environment not the wallet itself.

I guess last but not least it has staying power, its never gone anywhere near its ico price...its been steady trading in the 1500 to 3000 sat range.....and is poised to a breakout.

A sleeper coin that is ripe for investors' attention.
