Home now but will try tomorrow morning, left wallet open to receive (hopefully) syscoin from sysmine.me

FYI you don't need to keep the wallet open to receive anything, it will sync back up next time you run it.

Of course I just didn't want to go through more delete, resynch until they had a fix.
Thanks anyway.

MInerpools has me at 991.82 diff with 4.33Mh from the Asics and 221.59 on 1,137.56 from my gpu's miner.
never really thought about it the coins just keep coming, they find lots of blocks to share.
That's whats important.
The miner itself is showing a network diff level of 49

oh and I tried a p2Pool yesterday and it didn't give me as many coins over 24 hours.

24 hours isn't enough time; you should at least give a several days (most say a week, idk)... but in the long run you'll actually make more with P2Pools. But don't take my word, just search this forum.

I'm a big proponent of P2Pools, love them. Its usually how I mine.
Didn't realize sysmine.me is a P2pool....switched to there with the variable diff and right now its a 32 diff for me.
Well see how it pans out.

Dumb question....before loading with 1.3 I got rid of everything....so I think.
file version for the client says 8.6.2.
Is that the file version 1.3 loads?

Tried to open wallet this afternoon and got the dreaded stuck icon in tray
Deleted the peers and debug, then it opend, said it was syncing but stuck at 4 days.
Then did what Flip did a few pages back, deleted everything but the wallet (backed up though)
Opened right away, syched fast and there's my syscoin again.
Went to "getinfo" in debug console and time is correct for my local ....I'm in florida, EST.

following something mentioned earlier...heres the last of the debog.log when I shut down the wallet

"2014-08-21 20:23:14 Shutdown : In progress...

Posted yesterday about getting from 1.2 to 1.3. Little bit of a hurry and closed after synch and getting first coins from pool.
Came in this morning to check it out ,
Opened wallet, icon in the tray for about thirteen seconds then went to splash. Little slower than most wallets.
Went to pool to cash out coins mined....entered at 8:05.
Syscoins hit wallet at 8:06.
Two thumbs!
Next try sending some to Mintpal.

Be sure you're right version 1.3 with all traces of 1.2 gone
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 20, 2014, 11:00:13 PM
Thank you for the 1.3,
I was wrestling with latest 1.2 that I had earlier held off installing. It synched but, didn't accept the coins I had sent from my pool.
About the time I saw the errors (looked like the coin tried to come in but couldn't) in the appdata/roaming/syscoin folder/log. I saw the wallet had just been upgraded to 1.3.
Removed 1.2, removed the entire folder from  appdata.... ran my CCleaner and rebooted. Made sure syscoin was gone.
installed 1.3 put my wallet.dat file in proper place.
Did its thing and synched....then blinked and said it was 2 hours behind, blinked again and completed with my coin.
Saved my bacon.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 20, 2014, 08:52:28 PM
There is a different group here, NOW.. The real investors who want to make money and believe in concept and dev team. Last 2 hours have been very good to us.. All the FUDrs sold low ..LOL

Well, you know.....a FUDr will be a fUDr...its just in their nature.
a coin this complex and doing so much....it just took a bit to iron out the kinks.
The devs getting it done with all the yelling and screaming going on is pretty amazing.
Cheers.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 20, 2014, 05:23:59 PM
The funny thing is the demographic for Sys, i.e people who actually want to do REAL business on the blockchain, not children playing around on their last day of summer break with their allowance money, do not give a damn if it didn't work on day 1 just so long as it works period. A week of hiccups is nothing compared to years of profit ahead.
/\/\/\ This.....

SysCoin could be the Visa Card of the future.
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 19, 2014, 08:38:10 PM
This is crypto, only invest into a coin if you are prepared to loose them ALL......

/\/\/\ This

I learned this last year with WDC. Lost damn near all of it between price drop and scambeck.
You can't let it mess your mind up. I sure didn't quit crypto, just tried to learn.
Along with big potential to succeed comes big potential for fail.

On Syscoin I did what I do with most new coin launches . MIne in a pool and buy in exchanges to build a nice little bag.
I never , ever install a dev's first wallet. It usually takes two versions or even more to get it right.
Was going to install the one released yesterday but stopped when
I saw my pool down earlier I'll wait a few more days.

Heck the other day Redd coin's wallet was doing the same thing after a mandatory upgrade no less.
It took putting in the conf file "salvagewallet=1" (with out quotes of course). to get  the error fixed below.
I didn't even know that command was available to repair the db file.

EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error
 CDB() : can't open database file wallet.dat, error -30974

Took awhile but finally repaired it and synched up. You would have thought the Redd Coin dev had it together but hey man...something went haywire.
All the things syscoin does (which makes it attractive to begin with) I surprised it works as well as it has.

As said, relax man......enjoy the ride.

Is there any ETA for working  SYS coin? I want to start mining right at the beginning....
