181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with china connection ! on: August 17, 2017, 03:17:47 PM
Not sure if you mean a "China" based coin? Those are few and far between.
Or a crypto "attractive" to China.....its true xspec is getting very attractive to China as its' wallet and blockchain runs on TOR+OBFS4.
The OBFS4 being recently added in v1.3.

Other countries also block TOR, or like india void their large bills, to keep their citizens from sending their money out of the country.
Many countries' banking systems are in turmoil and alts offer a natural solution.

its kind of funny...he accuses of negative marketing when he's the one posting in the spectre thread with that onion suit.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The most undervalued crypto? on: August 14, 2017, 01:39:09 AM
We are in bubble mode right now and most of coins are over-pumped.
In your opinion, which crypto-asset on the market today is less overpriced compared to real long-term opportunity? Is there any project with strong technical development and low level of PR / promotion?

If you mean priced far below their potential and overlooked because of a super low profile, for a variety of reasons , I submit
https://spectreproject.io/

Way below everyones' radar  ....but is currently the 4th best performing ico ever......https://icostats.com/roi-since-ico

Yeah, yeah I know....xspec who? Name another coin that runs on the TOR network + OBFS4.
it's here....now.....
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: August 13, 2017, 09:04:38 PM
Why Spectre going after all the anon coins? Is this how you hope to succeed? With negative marketing? These kind of things usually backfire. If you have a good project, keep working hard on it and people will notice it.

Xspec isn't going "after" anyone....its been here since late last year and have always had a comparison chart up. it's updated to keep up with the coins that seem to drop out or ones that appear in crypto claiming anonymity. The truth hurts eh?
By the same token....Why are you trolling your onion stuff here?   Roll Eyes
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: August 13, 2017, 08:23:13 PM
....Deep onion's marketing game is on point and when it finally adopted it into several exchanges, which it will. The spotlight on its tech will inadvertently affect spectre coin in a favorable way.

and where are these onion exchanges??...novaexchange?...meh....a huge premine?....omg!.....an airdrop that is just a signature bounty? ....wtf?
You guys fell for marketing with no substance. Better buy some xspec while you can.
It's here... NOW....and xpsec does what it says it does. it RUNS on the TOR network with no action on the user's part....AND features OBFS4 for use in countries that block the TOR network. The others are just hot marketing air. or talking about features they don't have yet.
xspec is ready with no waiting.

186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: August 13, 2017, 03:43:55 PM
As a Gunbot user all the way back to this past February....I can attest to a reasonable 1% a 24 hour period, sometimes less sometimes more but over thirty days that was an average. Not to overstate it but this past few months with all the turmoil in btc and alts....its getting tougher...Gunthar has come up with more strategies to help and it takes some tuning. Also, he has added exchanges....the latest is Cryptopia.
Where my favorite coin is found.  https://spectreproject.io/
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Anonymous Coin: XSPEC, XVG? on: August 12, 2017, 03:19:46 PM
SpectreCoin Dev has released new wallets, the older client v1.2  released in the spring already runs on the TOR network ....Just released v1.3 added OBFS4 for use in countries that block TOR and has had code cleaned up with  future releases in mind.

188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: August 12, 2017, 11:39:31 AM
Spectrecoin is far ahead of deep onion

It confused me that all alt coins puff up but XSPEC still be low.

It's true xspec has been overlooked for some time but, that's going to change as it's features become better known. It's been around since November 2016....and with the dev bringing out new wallets and firming up attainable plans for the future....it's one helluva' buying opportunity.

189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: August 11, 2017, 01:53:09 PM
Perhaps you'll listen to me then....and yes I'm an affiliate not a reseller....and have run this bot since February and most every version since then. I'm what you might call a "hobby" trader and mine as well as invest in crypto. I looked at trading bots from August 2016 before settling on Gunbot. I'm very glad I did. There were less than 75 users when I started. Now there are over 2000.

When I first started....and setting up a single core vps on vultr with ubuntu 16.0.4, I would get a little "lost" sometimes.
Rather than directly answer my question...gunthar would point me in the right direction and encourage me to find certain answers on my own.
It's the old adage...."Give a man a fish.....teach a man to fish". But, whenever I was way deep over my head....he was always there to help , with good humor and patience. I've many times since seen the same with new comers....humor , patience beyond belief.

I have never found Gunthar or any of the more experienced people in the telegram group or the gunthy forum to be anything but helpful.
Either you have not used the resources available to you or not even tried. I cannot believe that as a 66 year old , non computer wizard I can set up gunbot to run and make btc and you cannot.

It's been a hectic summer for the alt market and true harder to tune and adjust the bot to make some btc.
I would encourage you to bring your configs to the telegram group or the gunthy forum and seek help.

There are way too many other people successfully running Gunbot.
Put the energy you're wasting here into getting your bot making money.

I'm not paid, I'm not a "sock puppet" and I definitely didn't buy this account. So take a break man....you're just reflecting on your self.

Spectrecoin now features TOR OBFS4 which allows users in countries that block TOR to fully participate in the xspec blockchain!

                                                    fast image hosting

Check out Spectrecoin a well developed, totally private coin that's unlike any other.

Happy to announce that new v1.3 windows wallets in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions are now available on the "download " page of Spectrecoin's new website.

@pureimage - sounds like your computer lost power or lost its net connection during process. If you don't have any xspec in your wallet.....and if in windows...go to  app data>roaming> spectrecoin and delete the whole folder. restart wallet and let it synch again. It will rebuild that folder.

If you DO have xspec in it....copy the wallet.dat file before doing above and  after the resynch....close the wallet, put it back and open wallet.

This is common occurrence on qt wallets when they get interrupted

193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: August 03, 2017, 05:27:35 PM
Direct quote from our Slack Channel.
Please note this is a total overhaul of xspec's current wallet to make future updates easier and faster for the devs.
It's also adding win32 and linux versions along with the TOR  OBFS4 ability on all versions. Our devs are going to get this right!

Quote-
"As you guys can see, I'm pushing the deadline until tomorrow

[1:03]
I have fixed the Win32 issue, but I need some more time to test all of the platforms interoperating with each other. There were some big changes with the Tor version upgrade and OBFS4, and I don't want to bring back any peer discovery issues, so I will take some extra time to test and be certain all is stable before cutting a release. I hope the community understands.

[1:03]
I think I should be able to make the release during the day (EU time) tomorrow."

Gandalf86 made a suggestion above, if you can wait just another few days v1.3 will be out that will have a linux version. Sorry, I'm just that strong on linux. Grin

SpectreCoin Update
07/29/2017
What a week it's been! It's an honor to be asked by jbg to assist in the Slack channel as an Administrator. I do appreciate all the support received so far from all of you. I promise to do my best to be fair but, at the same time deal with the distracting, off topic or very vulgar things that show up here from time to time. Please keep posts in the proper channel and have a great time!

I will keep the mop and broom handy and a warning will be given before the “ban hammer” is ever wielded.

@jbg Has advised that v1.3 has completed it's TOR update  and tested , bear in mind v1.3 is going to run on more OS platforms so all versions have to be tested. It's operation over Obsf4 is in final testing phase and it will be packaged and released in the next 72 hours.
The other code changes that required this time will make future updates much easier on the devs.

Until next week.....keep on staking!

I just noticed that Shadowcash (SDC) is on the comparison chart of the main website. Perhaps remove it or add a disclaimer that the project is dead?

That's true and will be corrected.
SDC , while it started a s agood project, never finished many things, made a name change and then tried to become some kind of "market".
Never figured that one out.

@chapinmaster - the upcoming v1.3 will run on your 32 bit system, pm me your email if you would like a invite to slack .
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XSPEC] Spectrecoin | Untraceable Tx | Ring Signatures | Tor Integration on: July 24, 2017, 01:26:06 PM

....one of the main devs had to step down DURING the bitcoin altcoin uncertainty period.

I'm a little puzzled by who you mean.....Mandica is simply the manager and yes, she's turned over control to jbg, the lead developer. She has some health problems that require her to be in the hospital.
Jbg says release is any day now of the improved v1.3.

It wouldn't be worth your while or your electricity. What have you mined so far?
If I had 6 of those gpu's I sure wouldn't be trying to mine scrypt.
Go buy asic miners or rent for that, and use that hash for other algo's.

ATTENTION: I respond to a very repeated question:
Can you give me a calculation formula for staking?
Well it is as simple as this, in a first consideration.
If we call N to the expected XSPEC number, then:
N Xspec = {[(0.05 * X) / 12] / 30.5}
( ) = Annual amount
[ ] = Monthly amount
{ } = Daily amount
Example: 10000 XSPEC
X = 10000
N ( ) = 500
N [ ] = 41.66667
N { } = 1.36612

That makes a few assumptions that don't quite pan out in real time.
You're assuming that someone is staking at an "annual" rate of 5% (or .05) times what the wallet says their stake "weight" is...then dividing by 12 months, then dividing that monthly number by average days per month 30.5 (anyone ever been divorced knows that figure lol) as what the daily "stake reward".

unfortunately it doesn't play out that way......because every wallet that's open and staking (as jbg said on slack) is competing for the generated block release. some go to the wallet that gets it first....like its "orphaned" to the others.

So the effective stake rate is much much less, in my wallet it runs about 10% less, than your formula would lead someone to believe.
Trust me, i wish it WAS like this....i'd have a pretty nice daily stake rate.
Cheers.
