101  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] USB Game Controller (NES/SNES) on: June 05, 2012, 02:17:00 AM
I want to play some roms on my mac. I'm looking for something that will:

A) Work on mac
B) Feel like the nes/snes controllers we know and love
C) Function just like the original would.

Also if anyone has any USA rom dumps, i'd love to take them off your hands.

Something like this? http://www.amazon.com/RetroLink-NES-Classic-USB-Controller/dp/B005Y5NO4U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1338862535&sr=8-2

Best place for rom dumps is good ole' torrents. Can probably get every single nes rom in one big compressed file.

Note to RJK, set a rule in your next auction to only allow people with X or better rep.
103  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Computer Parts updated May 18, 2012 on: June 01, 2012, 04:23:35 AM
Just want to add that I recieved the cables a few days ago, good transaction.
...
But now on second thought, I really want single molex to PCI-E power cables. I opened u pthe box and then suddenly thought "...Wow, thats a lot of molexes, and I don't nearly have that many on my power supplies... I should've waited for someone to offer single molex adapters..."

But thats my problem now Sad Off to spend more bitcoins on more stuff.
You just need a better psu. Cheesy
104  Economy / Goods / Re: Piratebox basic ready to go! We also have piratebox tshirts as well. on: May 31, 2012, 02:14:36 AM
Cool shirt.  I ordered one.

Piratebox seems like a great product.  I'm just not sure what I'd use it for.  Perhaps some examples of cool things you can do with it are in order?

It's a piratebox. Go to a coffee shop and set it up. Let the pirating begin.

Take it to work, set it up. Let the pirating begin.

Throw it in your car, go to McDonalds during lunch. Let the pirating begin.

Hell. Leave it in your car, leave it on, and drive down the highway. Let the pirating begin.

This server is godly. Can you give a ballpark estimate please?  Grin
I'm open to cash/trade etc.

$50 cash.  Grin

A) no
B) fuck cash.

You make no sense. So you are open to cash/trades, but fuck cash?

And you can buy one of these new (Just looked the parts up) for about $2500. Was something around $1500 acceptable?

On the 24-48 hours part to wipe the drives, please tell me you will raid 1 them. Cuts the amount of data you need to randomly write drastically. Should only take a few hours then to write out 900GB's.
107  Economy / Goods / Re: [AUCTION] 1.65GH/s mining rig {68 BTC donation inside} 2 days left!!! on: May 29, 2012, 11:57:39 PM
Ok but remember in real life you can't do that  Shocked

Better to have him tell you upfront rather than down the road where it becomes a hassle.
108  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: SELLING AS BUNDLE ONLY - FOUR Gigabyte 5850s for 90 BTC SHIPPED on: May 29, 2012, 09:41:05 PM
FOUR Sapphire 5850 for 90 BTC SHIPPED  --  TO USA ONLY.  Shipping to Canada (unless west coast Canada) is just a pain for me, sorry.  A couple deals with Eastern Canadians have gone just kinda slower then I want\need.

ALL in original boxes.  All power cables included.  100 BTC (90+10) to include 5 riser cables.

ALL in perfect working order.

I run them at 840\300 with great PSUs in a cooled room with CGMiner and proper power.  See my farm pic thread.

I, like many others, are upgrading to the newer stuff and this is a GREAT opportunity to get your farm started with the same cards we all used to get our farms started.

I AM NOT SEPARATING THESE.  DO NOT ASK.

I will take AMAZON GIFT CARDS ALSO!  Since, the money is being spent at Amazon for new 7970s.

Thanks.

PM'd. Scratch that. Just call this a free bump.
109  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Fielding offers, two brand new Asus 7970s on: May 28, 2012, 10:23:22 AM
I'm definitely interested in working something out, but I do think 4 5850's might be a bit much do you have something against non-reference cards? I use no active cooling for my rigs strictly outside air and my highest card was 74.5 and that was with 90 degree outside temps. Usually they run in the 60's

4x120 = 480. Doesn't sound too unreasonable for a 7970.
110  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS/T] MSI 6990. on: May 28, 2012, 04:56:21 AM
Bummer!  What kind of deal are you looking trade wise?  I have always wanted a 6990 and I have LOTS of other gear.

Maybe we can make a deal.

I could throw you basically an entire rig... an Asrock mobo that will hold 3 GPUs, a 630w single rail Rosewill PSU that will power those 3 GPUs (proc and ram) ... and 3 5830s?

I can send pics.  I will pay shipping for mine and you pay shipping for yours.

He's in canada and looking for a hd 79X0.
111  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [sold] 6990 or 5970 for $230 shipped on: May 28, 2012, 03:08:58 AM
OH boy. That thing is listed as a 5970, a 5790 in the item specifics, and a 6990 in the description. I'm glad I stayed away from that one.

I'm looking for a sub $200 LGA2011 X79/C602 motherboard. I'm not too picky, would prefer 8DIMMs but not the end of the world if it has 4.

UPS from Wisconsin to Toronto was 15 dollars for a GPU I sold a few weeks ago when I shipped it through work. Need to find some people with UPS business accounts.. It's 2 business days as well. USPS First class mail is $13, but would take a few extra days to get there.

bumppity bump

Break the CPU pins and call AMD saying it was an accident, and they will replace it with a sealed one that you can sell on ebay for more  and stop bumping here.

That's the worst thing I've read all day.
