Completely agree. Laptops are fragile. Buyer's shy away real quickly when they can see the abuse. I'd just get a battery off amazon though. $25 and then you can say, "brand new battery." |

Just as a heads up, the new 7850 is at least as powerful as your 6950, plus it has the "it's newer. It's shinier" factor going for it, so keep that in mind for gauging price.
I told him the exact same thing. Then I pointed out how many 6950's have sold prices of between 170-180 on fleabay. Those cards won't last long at that frequency. After a few months I've had them die at speeds above 950.
With the Sapphires by chance? I might want to lower my clock rates on my Sapphires then... Killed 1 xfx 6870 at around 950 and a sapphire 5830 xtreme at the same speed. I still have the dead sapphire, haven't found the time time RMA it :/ |

I've been looking to sell one of these for quite a while now. Not sure if you are going to put this into a ZFS based box, but I have, and it worked great with 2 tb drives. It supports 64 lba's. That's far beyond 2tb per controller. Granted the card is old (sata 1 does have it's draw backs depending on your application) but it's solid. I'm also only asking 3btc. I'd be interested in one from the xfx 5770, it looks the same as the one in my xfx 5830. However, I think ebay might have some of them, I just need to tear it apart and measure it up.
