I used a ups calculator I probably picked a zip at random in new york in the ghetto:/ no matter if cheaper shipping can be found its all perfect with me Grin

Ah ok. I didn't know if you where a seller who was attempted to make an absurd amount off shipping.
202  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Gaming/Mining PC on: April 16, 2012, 10:19:06 AM
Computer looks good but...

$120 USD for UPS Ground? It's $40 from your zip code to New York, New York. I'm not sure how you calculated that price.

VIA USPS media mail, a 24"x24"x12" 27pound box ships for $13.84 for the same set of zipcodes!

Address is in the topic above. If you can reply to my pm after you send it, Ill check on blockchain.info and mail it to the address in your reply. (address belongs to imsaguy for the SDM fund)

Purchased the core 2 duo roughly a month ago from Shakaru. This was his spur of "Help me pay back my debt by selling lots of little things" spree. I have yet to receive it, and I know other people are receiving stuff.  Sent 2 btc to 1EykWMskDwbqacQAEMZ5AybAa8XQVbPN2o from 17D27VnXUZ4XbvrbqQ8RmvCkZQYXqQK1s5 on 2012-03-16, a day after the purchase. While Shakaru's replies are typically quick, I have yet to see a CPU in my mailbox from him. Nor can he come up with a tracking number.

I'll settle for my 2 BTC back or a similar archecture chip of equal or faster speeds.

That shit sucks.

Only brightside is I payed it to the fund, not to Shakaru.

Edit: He's contacted me again, and this time is going to give a tracking number. We'll see how it goes.
204  Economy / Goods / Re: Brand New Computers @ Half The Cost on: April 15, 2012, 02:38:06 PM
Damnit guys, why the fuck do you have to chase away the entrepreneurs? If no one wants it, STFU and it will die from infant mortality, but no need for all the bullshit.

This, every time a new vendor shows up they get flamed to hell. Shows how great this community is! Bitcoin definitely has a future with ass holes like you guys!

I've seen a lot of people having no problems selling stuff here without getting flamed. While being honest is great, coming out and saying "Hey! I got this laptop new for $750. It's your for only 950!" Just sounds bad.

Edit: brain wasn't producing coherent sentences.
205  Economy / Goods / Gameboy, Color, and Advance Games on: April 15, 2012, 12:03:37 PM
Not exactly the best selection, but I do have a stack of games I'll never play through. These have all been tested and seem to work fine. Can do shipping either way on this stuff. Option A) UPS for 1 btc in CONUS. B) USPS bubble mailer (need to find a price) with no tracking and no guarantee on shipping schedule.

Make me an offer, as I'd rather sell it to someone who actually wants the games. Somewhere around 1 btc each would be find by me, except the Zelda game would be 2 BTC.

Price update: 5 BTC will put all of them on your doorstep.

Gameboy:
  • Rampage
  • Revelations: The Demon Slayer
  • Star Wars
  • The Rugrats Movie
  • Tetris
  • Metroid II: The return of Samus

Gameboy Advanced:
  • Brother Bear
  • SpongeBob Squarepants
  • Zelda - Four Swords
  • Sonic the Hedgehog - Genesis
  • Mariokart Super Circuit
  • NFL Blitz 2002
  • Crash Bandicoot - The huge adventure

Figured I might as well post this here too. He currently owes me 2 btc for a cpu. While not the largest debt in the world, it's another transaction.

My Dad's friend is able to get this computer brand new for $750 through his company.

http://www.bing.com/shopping/hp-probook-6460b-qy530us-14-led-notebook-core-i5-i5-2540m-2/p/CAE4B6AB81B013835005?q=hp+probook+6460b+i5+2.6+ghz&lpq=hp%20probook%206460b%20i5%202.6%20ghz&qpvt=hp+probook+6460b+i5+2.6+ghz&FORM=HURE

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing for $950 each.

I will only accept BTC through bit-pay or Western-Union. This might scream scam but this is just for my own protection. I own and operate a legitimate website hosting business - www.tizzytazzy.com, so running away with your money just isn't worth it to me.

Shipping would be free (anywhere around the world) and should arrive within one week of payment.

Hmmm a friend of your dad ?

First off that isn't the same laptop specs, and second -that is eBay.

You get a bigger hard drive, with a slighly slower processor for $200 less. Plus Tigerdirect has a mountain of rep, even if it is ebay. Not to mention a warranty (not completely sure on HP's warranty policy, but would you accept a DOA laptop for a warranty?)
209  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: 3x 5850s on: April 15, 2012, 08:53:55 AM
Location ?

Southeast USA

Getting into mining now that winters here and it's too damn cold...

I would be interested in these if they are still avaliable =D

Any idea how much postage to Australia would be?

I have paypal =D

Shipping will be around $150 Sad might be cheaper to look local.

Here's some more realistic prices on shipping (From Central USA to Sydney, Australia):

USPS Priority MailŪ International Large Flat Rate Box  23-11/16" x 11-3/4" x 3" - $60 and it's flatrate. All 3 cards can fit into this box AND have sufficient packing.

I don't have exact dimensions of a 5850. If it's less than 10 inches, 3 probably could fit in a 11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Priority MailŪ International Medium Flat Rate Box for $47.95 shipped.

These boxes are free, just need to use cardboard to fill in the spaces. Remember it's the impact of the contents shifting around that damages the stuff. You pack it all in tight enough, it's fine. You don't need a foot of packing peanuts around it all to keep the stuff safe.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ AM2 - 3 BTC + 1 Shipping

Deal. I actually just got my hands on a board that will work in. I'll double check it. PM'ing you an address later today for BTC and I'll get it shipped out on Monday.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC] An (even more) optimized version of cpuminer on: April 11, 2012, 10:59:45 AM
How to install this and run on OSX? Also wheres the GUI version that's just click and it launches? As I want to give LTC a try.

Simplest instructions I've ever found: http://www.litecoinpool.org/help

You really don't need a GUI. There really isn't any options you can toy with in this miner that will increase or decrease your KH/s.

Bump with some minor updates.
213  Economy / Goods / Re: (1) FREE $500 Amazon Code giveaway. Make a comment in this thread. on: April 10, 2012, 02:18:54 PM
Cool stuff..

Why not 10x$50 tho..

I like this idea as well, as it would prove across a varying amount of people you sent out the codes. But I'm staying out of all this. Until I deal with you directly, I won't have experience in your business transactions.

i'd take the lot if so for the right price..
Whereabouts is that price, do you suppose? If they're only worth like $50 each, then it probably isn't worth my time to test and package them all, for example.

Christ, how much do you make per hour that it would not be worth testing? If you have 10 cards, and it takes 2 minutes to boot a test rig into windows, that would only take 30 minutes tops to test 10 cards. Throwing the 10 of them into a box for shipping, max 20 minutes.

You make more than 500 dollars per hour that this would not be worth your time?

Note item at Newegg is almost $4 and svc is $.39  Grin

http://www.svc.com/3pinto4pinad.html

Also just noticed that was a sale price, the rest of the adapters are a normal priced. Pays to shop I guess.
217  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Fan molex connector? on: April 01, 2012, 11:56:57 PM
I needed 4, so thanks for posting that link.  $5 with shipping!

I've never heard of that site either, thanks as well!
218  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] 500gb+ 2.5" hard drive on: April 01, 2012, 11:55:42 PM

Are these all 2.5"? If so, what do you want for them?
My apologies. I read the 2.5" in the title and it just never registered in my brain. Newegg had a good deal on a new 1tb for ~$90.

Newegg has free shipping. If you only need 1, Newegg could be cheaper depending on where you live. However svc is certainly cheaper on 2+.

I'm wondering how much Amazon would be with a prime account. Gogo student 2 day free shipping.

Looking for something to put in my PS3

I've got a western digital blue or green 500gb if those tickle you fancy. I do have a 1tb WD green but I'd need a few days to finish clearing off the data. (Shuffling data onto the new file server.)
