IMO lack of Ind vs pak bilateral series is the best thing happened to PCB. Yes they are deprived of making huge amount of money but at the same time this single move made them self reliant and they are the only cricket board, which doesn't depend solely on BCCI for series. That's a commendable achievement, i also believe that they have shown the roadmap to other smaller nation about how to survive if they are not receiving any favor from BCCI. There is simply no consistency in the performance of the Dutch players. Yesterday they bowled well, and today their bowlers failed without any exception. This time they tried to strengthen their squad by including expat players such as Vikramjit Singh, Shariz Ahmad and Teja Nidamannaru. But none of the experiments paid off.
This is somewhat expected from a team like Netherlands. They should have done a lot better if they want to prove anything to the ICC and anybody else. And another thing I noticed is that they did try to make the squad stronger with some foreign players. But what’s the point?
