3  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain Release new 7NM Chip and Antminer S17 & T17 on: February 18, 2019, 05:31:16 PM
Drink less hatorade and do a bit of research and you will find that bitmains quality and reliability are on par (if not better) with anyone else on the market other than Canaan. Since Canaan usually prices themselves out of the market, bitmain still provides the most efficient gear and the best prices.

Well it's my humble opinion and from my personal experience.

I would say my hosting facility would also agreed on that.

EDIt: it's also fine that we don't agree on my opinion
4  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain Release new 7NM Chip and Antminer S17 & T17 on: February 18, 2019, 04:04:10 PM
The real question is how shitty they will be.

Their gear is now a shame in term of durability.

... just finished the second stage of out build out in Clifton NJ.

27 units doing  btc

420th btc

13 units doing  ltc

5.3gh ltc  maybe more like 6.3gh as I think I have  two units pointed wrong.

The 4 M10's are beasts  right about 131th and 9200 watts

Quite impressive !

I will sleep better knowing they are not Bitmain's gear, that's for sure  Cool

New miner versions:
- grin-miner-v1.0.2 (fix some errors, add possibility of using opencl plugins)

Do I need to patch the OS for the AMDs ?

I'm getting no errors but 0 GPS

I think he was saying that he provided both a shipping and a billing address but, out of fear they would ship to his billing address, opened a ticket 20 minutes after placing his order to confirm they were shipping to his shipping address and not his billing address. Pangolin confirmed they would ship to the shipping address. Tracking number is provided by Pangolin upon shipment which showed the package was going to the billing address instead of the shipping address.

Exactly,

They had 3 days to fix it (3 days after my order, and 3 days after they shipped) and they didn't do it.

I don't know.

It's not cool in my opinion.

EDIT: Most poeple have the same billing address and shipping address but I had not. Billing at my address but shipping elsewhere.
EDIT2: Anyway not much can be done anymore, i will take the shipping lost but don't trust them about changing address .... even before they ship. Either they have a bad comminication or i don't know ...
EDIT3: All 4 are working great

I had an issue with the shipping address with Pangolin.

I Opened a ticket 20 mins after my order to confirm what was my Billing address and shipping address.

They told me they would use the shipping address and did not. As soon as I received my tracking notice. I told them they didn't do it correctly.

Saturday(2.5-3 days after the order date): "Wait until Monday", On Monday, "can you re-confirm your shipping address ?" (Which i did) (It was already too late to changes it, all the shipping folks at my job told me so), Tuesday i got the delivery.

This is answer I had Tuesday when I told them I had to re-ship the unit myself to the correct address and it cost me like the double of the original shipping.

"Hello xxx,

DHL informed that the package has been signed for the delivery.

The delivery address can not be changed here."

I'm quite pissed off. I sent an email to Sales, Invoice and Logistic telling them this was quite an unprofessional way to go around an issue I flagged 3 days before they shipped the units and as soon as they did.

Now they gave me a compensation ticket 50$

Total lost 212$ us. (and 5 days of mining)

At least they answer to email.

Same issue with 1080 ti 11gb

Solved with driver Nvidia 415.13, Cuda 10.0, i was on 396 Nvidia 396.54, Cuda 9.2 Smiley

What's the actual procedure to do this ?

I'm far away from the rig, I need a long distance solution.

Go back 2 or 3 pages for instructions on how to do it by ssh.

EDIT: Had to run two times the script and extra reboot after the second installation to get it working.
EDIT: working on rig #2
EDIT: working on rig #3

Very unlucky. And no chances to solve with 3.3 PH now.

This is absolutely untrue

I told you that it's a good idea to attract even smaller miners. But you wan't hear. Take a look at 40 PH pool now. It's time to move away even to XXXXX...

Sometime it's just better to keep it quiet, especially when you use it to promote something based on a shitty argument.

Soooooo.... We are having bad luck...

I can understand some are leaving because they cannot afford to pay the bills from month to month in coins since their army is just to big to sustain it with the current BTC price and we are having shit luck. ( Cry)
You need something more stable... it's fine BUT if you are leaving only because we are having bad luck... well I have news for you...

I will be there for the long green streak !

19  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling 3x 8 GPU RX580 8GB mining rigs on: November 21, 2018, 03:51:25 AM
You need to add if you want to accept an escrow, are you shipping  or in-hand only.

How much are you looking for each rig ?

Would you sell only the cards ?

All of this need to be in your post.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8th Alt coin thread. Or what to do now that asics are all over the place. on: November 19, 2018, 05:40:24 AM
Took me a while to find this thread. Normally it's somewhere on the first page but now need to go thru a few pages to find it.

I think this thread is a lagging indicator of the markets more or less. During the crypto boom and mining boom especially all of philipma1957 threads had numerous replies all the time and now not very active.

Wonder how many of you guys are still actively mining. I've put my rigs on hold pretty much due to remodeling my place and unless the profitability goes up, probably will keep them offline for a bit.

My old miners like the Antminer S3, Radeon 6990, R9 280X will probably keep in a personal museum.

Its a combination of people posting less and a giant influx of spammers/bots/etc flooding this board.  So many threads are getting bumped by pure nonsense.  Check this one for example:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2046072.320

Yeah so much spam and bs post after post thread after thread.

How is Suqa coin doing for you?

I'm mining it since like two weeks, price is steady even if btc is going down (9/10 of a cent)

I didn't sold any of my Rvn yet  Shocked
