Back to normal. Looks like only some users were affected and it did not last long.

Not sure if you fixed the alarm but it triggers on my browser even if it's not checked. (It might be my browser that hasn't been reloaded for a while)

Let's say today is good day for that !! hahahaha Cheesy

Damnit. I ordered a B8 yesterday for 4BTC. I have the worst luck.. Just emailed bitmain asking them to charge me 3.1 I stead and keep the 0.9 in my account to be used on my next order.

Sucks Sad

It's like when I bought 2 Batch 1 in BTC.

I hope they grant you the new price

868  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Unofficial Spondoolies SP20 thread on: December 11, 2015, 03:03:03 PM
How many people are still running the SP20?  Love them but need more efficient models

I got four running at my home.

They are nice hardware to play with.
They were state of the art when launched. Right now the max efficiency i get is 2.2W/GH/s at wall using 80Plus Gold PSU. At this efficiency the speed per device is around 850GH/s.

It can't be 2w per gh Tongue

you mean 0.22w per gh ?
869  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S5 blade Step down voltage chip --Help need it on: December 11, 2015, 02:29:08 PM

Anything closer to Canada and USA ?
870  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.319/GH & 0.51W/GH on: December 11, 2015, 02:22:32 PM

If you want to just replace U101 then the part to look for is  RT8537 - Current mode Boost-type LED driver

However not sure how easy they are to find?

Rich

Hey Rich, I was looking at my faulty S5 boards and i got one with the four first ASIC going X after a short time while the other doesn't hash but all ooo

I saw that on both blade the U101 is have seems to be overheated ... i might try to replace them for the fun of it. Did you find a place to get those buck ?

thanks

Herb

872  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Setting up new diff thread Dec 6 to Dec 20 picks open. on: December 11, 2015, 03:04:40 AM
It's not too late to pick.

However it is too late for ROI, apparently. Especially for us poor schlubs who bought batch 1 S7s for 8 BTC each  Shocked

got 2 batch 1 but also a batch 4 for 3.6btc ... So avg cost went quite acceptable ;-)
873  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BTC Network about to hit 1 exahash for the first time over a 24 hour period!!! on: December 10, 2015, 11:28:30 PM
Indeed, this wall of diff will be interesting to follow
874  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Setting up new diff thread Dec 6 to Dec 20 picks open. on: December 10, 2015, 10:21:44 PM
Can we change the rules of this game and make the winner the one that is being CLOSEST to the difficulty change ?

why ? that would remove the fun of it

For now I will wait to see what suchmoon wants to do with the three.

And I am banning any more from this point on during this adjustment period.

No more for this adjustment.  And suchmoon can decide about the three that are in.

I hate to kick those three out after their entries were submitted and allowed under the then-valid rules. Let me think this over. It's not like we're running out of numbers to pick :-)

I was just pointing out that those accounts follow the same pattern of posting in the same thread .... they look fake.

I'm just saying, whatever you decide.

No complains here

Fair enough. I'll check that out later today when I get back to a bigger screen. Right now I'm on this wonky phone that hates me, so browsing the forum is painful.

okay people 3 new members  all joined the forum  this month  they are marked above.

I realize the prize is very good so new names are to be expected  but I will track and make adjustments if this pattern turns excessive  in fact I am inclined to not let any more new members pick this adjustment.
The three in can stay in but no more new members is looking like it may happen here.

They are 3 fake new members imo but you're the master ;-)

No complains here Tongue

Anyone can confirm me the voltage send to the daughter board from the hashing board for an S5 ?

I'm pretty sure it 12 volt but i'm not home to check it.

Thanks

Yes voltage sent from the hash Board to the Controller Board on the 4 Pin connector is 12V

Rich

Thanks men !
