Its free power so it has its merits. Ive considered a similar thing but it involves a winnebago, good ventilation and powered site fees at a caravan park and a thick extension lead. Internet from a mobile phone or satellite or the caravan parks wifi.
I actually chuckled out loud at this one. Love it  Instead of being in a park, I can just picture someone with an old RV out in the desert with solar panels on top and a cell connection mining away instead of making meth like on Breaking Bad. As profitability declines, electricity becomes more and more of an issue for some, so I can appreciate the creativity of finding cheaper power! Breaking bad style... had the same vision for a moment ! |

Blokforge ships the AUC with each order "This product contains: 1 X AvalonMiner 821, 1 X AUC3 I2C 5PIN Cable, 1 X Micro-usb cable." Well this is confusing, maybe they told me it wasn't 1 for 1 anymore but I will receive the 2 for the units I bought but from the next statement, I assume I need to buy them now. Are you looking for a AUC compatible with older model AvalonMiner, like maybe Avalon6? Since older model AUCs are little hard to find, you could go with this method. No ones has any solution about which AMD driver i should use (except the beta blockchain that I use) to fix the voltage Mod from Claymore for the 5xx Series ?
Or know anyone I should ask directly ?

Huy guys ! 3 quick questions for all you master of GPU mining. 1- I got some GTX 1070 on the way, i will be mining Zcash and other coin. What's the avg best Mod for those kind of cards ? 2- I have a rig on Win 10 using the august blockchain driver, works fine with the 4xx series but for the 5xx serie the voltage mod doesn't work and i'm pumping way too much watt for nothing. I red about installing Afterburner version whatever Beta 16 to manually set the voltage but I would prefer to use another driver that will take the Claymore command. Any of you use another driver for your RX580 ? 3- I will be using Simple mining for my next farm. Does Simple mining have the issue that I have with win 10 ? (Guess not but who knows ) Thanks guys Herb No mods on the nvidia cards. If you use simplemining Try: . Core +120 Mem + 550 Watts. 105 Thanks ! Do i need to lower the power also ?
