Perfect Bio !
Valkir told me he was busy so he wanted you to ship later but we can ship everything to my job this week.
I will PM you the info. Just ship everything as soon as you can.

I offer you 200$ and you can ship it to Valkir with all the other stuff.
Thanks
Herb
EDIT: which model is it exactly ? Red and Black one ?

I got 3 S3, 1 S5 and 1 S1
so 10 boards for me.
Might get a pod and a stick, still unsure for now
|
|
|
I will take one stick.
Thanks

I will probably be doing an S5 board exchange thing where folks can cash in those PCBs for sticks or pods. Be a good way to make sure I stay in chips. The 2Pac run will probably be limited, but if sales of the pod are good I'll probably kepe making those. The 2Pac will be superseded by the BF16 stick anyway, but the old-chip pod will be a nice "bargain" pod versus the higher entry cost (and accordingly better specs) of the BF16 pod.
Nice ! I have two boards laying around here ;-) Keep us posted (as usual)

Dear goddess Juvia,
Please make us find 5 blocks in 10 minutes so everyone just stop complain about our luck.
Thank you,
Herb

In last last couple weeks there has been a R4, S9, A7 batch released. If your not increasing your hash rate. You are going backwards.
That's a funny one. You mean buying WAYYYYYYYY overprice gear => A7 Or just a 90 days warranty S9 with like 10% failure ? No thanks I own 17 S9 with 3 more on the way and have had 0% failure. well you're lucky as hell, just follow the bitmain thread. I personally asked a few person because I wanted to buy some and the answer is pretty much => worst ever miner they made so far. Most likely the same people that were cooking their miners by over clocking them to much. Funny how the complaints have gone down after the over clocking was taken away. Absolutely not Right. Because the majority of people in this world are truthful and trustworthy. Yup, they always admit to their own mistakes. Especially if its going to take money out of their pockets. Then its multiplied even more with the conspiracy theorist. And as we all know the world wide web is full of them. So you're right i'm shit and so are my friends

Well, it seems I am jinxed in my efforts to get a 6-GPU system up and running lol. Granted, my first attempt was on an unproven X99 Mobo, so I am willing to take that as a learning experience but now I am having trouble getting past 4 GPUs on a ASRock BTC Pro mobo that I know for a fact there are probably 1,000's out there running 6 GPUs smoothly.
That's pretty much where I am with my 2 H81 Pro BTC, pass the 4 cards, it's nightmare. 4 is sometime fine, but I can't push the card. 3 seems to be fined with a lot of OC. I run 4 on one and 2 on the other one. Tested pretty much everything possible. I'm getting a brand new one this week. I shall see. Hmmm that's disheartening to hear. The thing I don't get is that there are probably 1000's of these boards running 6 GPUs worldwide and never seen anyone mention these issues on the youtube videos. I mean, these boards are designed for mining and miners natural expect all 6 PCI slots to work fine, but seems like more and more problems popping up... could it be only with the R2.0 versions? Anyway, I posted a thread to tech support in the ASRock forum querrying about the same 2 issues so I will pass along any info i get there if it works. I also have a 2nd one that I havent even cracked the box on yet since I got 2 from Amazon when they first came back in stock about 5 weeks ago. Beginning to wonder if that was a mistake. I feel the pain as I am in the same boat as you. I have no idea why it isn't working properly. I was F***** piss about it. I bought two used board on amazon, both acting the same way. I think they are both Version 2. I should get a new replacement this week. (new from newegg) I will let you know with the new board So, I checked and I actually got both my BTC R2 mobos from NewEgg back in early Nov, not Amazon as I had previously stated. I also got a notice from someone posting in the ASRock technical support forum that I should open an actual service ticket for these issues, so I just did that couple hours ago. Fingers crossed but based on things I've seen in a few places, this really seems to be an issue with the R2 version since there are hundreds if not thousands of the original version of this mobo running 6 GPUs. Out of curiosity, what kind of risers are you using on your rig(s)? Aside from the x16 slot problem, I am now wondering of trying to hook up the 5th GPU via a ribbon riser instead of a powered USB riser. I also thought about trying to plug #5 directly into x1 slot #6. Not sure but I think there might be room since it is at the end of the mobo. not sure where my head was on that lol. obviously cannot plug into mobo since this is an x1 slot lol I will post more info on these tests after trying them, as well as if i hear anything back from ASRock tech support. Powered (Molex/PCI-E) ribbon cable 1x-16x risers from Padrino

I would use a Potentiometer and play with it, monitor the voltage. I think you should stay in the range of 0.9v-1.1v at first, just to be safe. I'm use to play with the S1 board but never tried with the S3. the S1 had 4 chains of chips, so you needed 4 Pot / resistance per board. There is all the clock and timing to be found with the voltage you want to use, that is the hardest part. Found this ... Typical hash rate and power Voltage(V) HashRate(GH/s) Current(A) Total power(W) W/GH 0.72 14.18 10.40 7.49 0.528 0.75 15.75 12.24 9.18 0.583 0.80 17.33 15.20 12.16 0.702 0.85 17.33 20.00 17.00 0.981 EDIT: Check that => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=771979.60EDIT2: It looks like the Resistance to be change is R17 ... and it's 8 per board not 4 like the S1 R17 & R20 are not in parallel. R17 goes from the Buck Converter Output voltage to the VFB input. R20 goes from the VFB input to ground. R17 is the one to adjust or change.
Also remember you need to make the same change on the other 7 resistors on the other Buck Converters, then repeat for the second board.

Edit: The run of bad luck in July/August coincidentally stopped not long after I banned an IP address from *Hash. I seem to be seeing more *Hash now coming in via MRR (which is just stupid ...) Maybe I need to ban all rental mining instead so we can at least get an idea if any of the above is caused by something else ...
If you doubt, do it

You are now making less money. Pps pay per day is pretty much equal to two blocks per day here at kano. As long as we are averaging more than 60 block a month (At our current pool hash rate). We are making more money than at any pps pool. And last I checked. We averaged 2.3333333 last month.
Okay, so i have around 17 TH, when i mined at F2Pool it gave me 0,0155BTC per day... at 17TH i'm getting around 0.0065BTC per block from CKpool. So, it would need 2,5 blocks per day to be the same. But since i started mining, we hit less than 2 blocks per day. I get your point and yes CK-pool is better, but atm, i'm making more money elsewhere Don't look at your feet, look at the horizon. We are currently having badluck so yes, you won't earn as mush as you would with the other pool assuming they are achieving 100% luck. We are still over 100% PPS since the start of the year but we are having bad luck since a few months which is completely normal. If you cannot handle luck, mine at the biggest pool and enjoy your steady earning.

I plan to add a bit to my hash rate pointing to this pool with 2 A7's if the controllers ever show up. They somehow got separated from the main shipment and floated around in Japan for 6 days. The FedEx trace reported that they are in the USA now and will be delivered tomorrow but I'll believe it when it happens...and I'm usually a very positive person. Maybe I should have ordered the RPi 3's from Amazon? [I really dislike FedEx International shipping but there was no other choice offered when I placed the order. sigh...] I can't find the image for the RPI... looks like not yet available on their website. Maybe someone could share an image of the controller. You might required a Version 3 but I don't see why it wouldn't be working on version 2. I would give it a try while you're waiting for the other one.

Gotta tear down/rearrange the living room/data center today. Three of us code serfs finally figured out how to move 2.5K CFM through my flat on less than 450W, and keep my 721 and A6 happy without (as Kano referred to it) "jet engine noises." It only took half a pack of Marlboros, and eight graduate degrees in various areas of science between the three of us, to solve it. I love it when a plan comes together. /Highfive !
