It's caused by the pump from the whales. The whales can pump the price of BTT easily but there are lots of people already trapped at this pump as well.
I don't even think it's possible rate to be reached by BTT. You must aware if BTT is not so useful as per the reviews from some BTT holders.

As far as i know FTX will give you discount to pay the transaction fees.

Agreed, there have been some coins like CHSB that didn't get a lot of attention by investors a few years ago and some even called it as a scam project but it is proving if the project is reliable and it can be trusted.
