1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Escrow be a guarantee? on: February 13, 2019, 03:48:39 PM
I saw a project and on that project I did not see the team and DEV from the project. however they use Escrow with good positive trust, can it be a determinant that the project will not be scam?
Escrow will not be able to solve the problem that the project may be scam or not. It only ensures that you will definitely receive a token after the bounty ends, but whether or not the project succeeds must depend on the team

I think if you see the reputed escrow user is involved then the scam option is very less. But the next point of project after completion whether going to list in exchange or not is another problem which escrow cannot handle.
Escrow hold the funds and if this working properly and then it might put the more protection to the investors. You can see that it will give us a lot of transparency about the platform. They don't have access to the funds and they must do the best to get it.
1442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is buying GRIN a good decision now? on: February 08, 2019, 03:24:22 PM
GRIN got a huge pump to $14 but now it has dumped to $3+. Will it be wise to invest in GRIN now or I have to wait some times more? Does it have any chance to get dumped too.
You must analyze how much demand for grind and i guess the price of grin will go to the another bottom level. You an put a little money at this rate and try to keep some of your amount to buy in another rate when it reaches the bottom. To spent all of your money in the one price looks a terrible idea.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: February 08, 2019, 03:21:53 PM
I got into Crypto July 2017 , as newbie i was much afraid so i never took the risk so 2017 bull run pass over me .. 2018 the expectation was really high  so i took the risk but things fall apart .. I invested $5000 in Altcoins last year but right its  worth  less than $400 ..  I know one  day there is going to be another bull  run .. Should i expect the bull run this year or i should  expect it in three years time  !!
No one can know the exact next bull run, so your task is to try to calm and hold your altcoin. You have lost a lot and don't need to worry about it at this time, just hold 1-3 years I believe you will get back the money you invested
I guess we will have a main thing to bet on the crypto, the halving time of bitcoin will become one of them. The fidelity should be the next big thing for sure very soon. Bitcoin still gets its stable value. This will be so long dude. Just try to do what you can do to doubled your money while you are still waiting for the bullish trend.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: February 08, 2019, 03:17:03 PM
We can't predict cryptocurrency market with based of only 2 criteria historical volume trends and historical price trends.
Because this is unpredictable market and it can changed a dramatically that we can't imagine.
In other words, the price of cryptocurrency is influenced by many things not just price history, there are many aspects that affect prices,
even the economy of a country can be an influence on the crypto market. Thats why sometimes prices on the market are unpredictable..
Not sure about the economic from a country can affect the crypto but if that was coming from the major country just like US and that can give a huge impact. The global economic should be a better answer than it.
The price of crypto still driving by the speculators.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Blockchain and Crypto on: February 07, 2019, 12:21:30 PM
Just finished listening to a podcast episode about the future of blockchain and crypto.. very interesting and thought I'd share.

http://cryptoandblockchaintalk.com/what-does-the-future-hold-for-blockchain-and-crypto-in-2019-interview-with-jonathan-dunsmoor-44

Feel free to discuss, what are your thoughts? Times are interesting after 2018 I'd say.
yes it need definitely I support from something to develop much more in the future but today situation cryptocurrencies are in very tough or situation it need to manager falling of Crypto to the stability level if it happens then the cutoff will become more stronger in the future.
Huge resistance from the community would be one factor that could help to raise the market. Meanwhile, the support from investors aren't great enough to help it out from the situation we have but we are in positive and we can fight these things. Only we need time and effort, we can't drive the market so easily, lets wait and give patient we actually gonna make it.
If there was a hype in the community and that will lure the investors to join in the cryptocurrency again. We need the help from the good news to create such a hype to the community again. In fact some parties can drive the market easily with a lot of money. How long?
1446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: February 06, 2019, 11:33:46 PM
the main aim of the government is to control everything. but with crypto they can't do it so that's why they don't like it.
Because they wanna protect their investors from the scammers. there were a bunch of scammers in these days. The government are thinking how much money that can be stolen by these scammers. That's why the government doesn't like crypto. But not all of governments are hating crypto dude
1447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic on some hodler and sellers on: February 06, 2019, 11:21:26 PM
The best thing that we can do right now is to hold our coins and to stay calm. Do not make decisions in panic and do not sell your crypto for peanuts. You will have a much greater opportunity to sell your savings in the future.
At such moments , I agree that you need to keep , very much all the coins fell, and I think that by the end of 2019 can be started a new bullish trend!and then all the coins will go to grow again
It's looks so difficult when you are seeing bitcoin still not yet get any traction. When so many speculating about the price of bitcoin on this quarter and they are all creating wrong prediction about that and most of people will do their own research rather than believe in others.
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are most bounties managed by New accounts? on: February 06, 2019, 11:13:00 PM
I have realized most of the bounties here are being managed by New account with copper membership... Is it that they know their projects are scam so they are afraid to get red trust on their old accounts?.
Why do you think they do that
It looks true, but some platforms are still managed by old account. That's why you must do a lot of research before try to join in any bounty that managed by untrusted person. Since the funds are not getting escrowed and it looks very risky.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run 2019-2020 on: February 02, 2019, 11:08:22 PM
Hi guys,
The bitcoin block reward halving is next year in may.
Do you think this would lead us to a new bull run these year?
What are you're thoughts
I do, just try to take any chart after bitcoin halving in the past year as an example about how it works, if you are seeing the fact and there will be a gradual increase from a year after it. Ether will get another block reduce this month and the price has started to growth again.
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins follow the path of silver on: February 02, 2019, 11:02:35 PM
Alt coins follow the path of silver. Not really going anywhere. Manipulated and crash to it's bottom. My guess is alt is the next boom. Nobody expects but if apple or a big Enterprise wants ur coins to distribute. Like a share buyback. They be buying in billions.
Not sure about that and how can you determine it? altcoin only follow bitcoin and no more. Is there something make sense to be considered as the main factor how altcoin an follow the silver while bitcoin is not even following it or gold at this moment?
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen with ethereum. on: February 02, 2019, 11:00:40 PM
I believe that in several years, Ethereum will reach the top, and even, it can become the leader. ETH has many chances to replace Bitcoin but it will not happen very soon. Thus, I am investing in both cryptos.

Do you see any value behind Ethereum's competitors like EOS and Tron?
I don't even see any value for both of these platforms. Both of these platforms are complete plagiarized platforms for ethereum. They can't created such a new tech that will bring us the more usefulness.
Over rated platforms and that very suitable for both of platforms.
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which utility tokens will gain value? on: January 31, 2019, 10:59:18 PM
There are a lot of tokens, many of them worth 0. The question is, why and which tokens will gain value in the longterm?

I'd love to buy a lot of coins, but many beautiful project doesn't need their tokens to release their products... I see a lot of tokens that have not use cases.. why should they go up?
They go up because they are pumping by the speculators. That's why most of them are including on the security list because they have no utility usage and that's the problem.  these days a lot of platforms much more focused to created a platform that doesn't even need the token.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Private Transactions on Litecoin Network, good or bad? on: January 31, 2019, 10:56:34 PM
The Litecoin core team will be introducing Private transactions on Litecoin in mid 2019. What are your thoughts on it? I think personally its bad as lawmakers are currently unhappy with Monero and ZCash. What do you think?
It just like a feature to give the privacy to the users and what's wrong? At least to implement the protection is really needed consider a lot of parties are forcing anything in the crypto to implement KYC. That sounds good while at the same time it looks very contradictory with regulators.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP close to a deal with Swift on: January 31, 2019, 10:55:09 PM
Market is hungry for positive news, and we can see that XRP is driving the market up. Potential deal with Swift is huge, as it would be a real use case. Hopefully it will not stay on just rumors.
This will be a short term hype, XRP gets a little increase last day and it was going back again. the pump will not be so long as you can see about how the bitcion still determine anything in the cryptocurrency.
It has created a deal and it looks true story.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: January 30, 2019, 11:02:32 PM
Exchanges that today call themselves decentralized may in any case be centralized as well. Maybe it will be possible to make it so that today there is a sense to really increase the level of trust in decentralized exchanges? What do you think?
Some decentralized exchanges that have been used over time, have proven their genuineness and have gained the trust of traders and investors, because there has not been any incidence of stolen funds or hack. Which means they are truly decentralized and that your funds are safe.
Those ones that seem to be new, can also be tested for their genuineness
A lot of exchanges existed today but few of them aren't familiar to me and also with the others.  I'll do used of exchanges with high liquidity and so the security of our wallets.  Ed and Dex are so familiar from the list but it is sad that there is no btc pairs available, it makes these exchanges to be more familiar if btc pairs will be included.
Not only both of these dex, but there was a lot of dex are not getting any popularity among the crypto users. The dex makes them all are not interesting to play with it caused by there was a lot of fees they must pay to create any transaction.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: January 30, 2019, 11:00:38 PM
Regulation is both good and bad: it is bad for the market during the transition, while it is a good in the long run. Centralized and decentralized world must have a point of contact: the regulation
Regulation is a very important thing to give guarantee if the platforms are not created by criminal. it looks good to forced them to be verified through KYC process. But if that was very strict and it sounds doesn't seem good.
The point of regulation to put more requirements.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Security Tokens are the Future on: January 30, 2019, 10:56:57 PM

In our this interview Jamie H. Finn - Co-Founder & President of Securitize - tells us how digitized securities can make the trade of private placements more efficient by shortening it from a 12-Step into a 3-Step process

https://stocheck.com/blog/securitize-why-security-tokens-are-the-future
And then why most of regulators are putting utility at the top of everything? that doesn't make sense. Security means our shares in the company that means we have acquisition based on how much shares that owned by us and utility much more focused on the usefulness.
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The popularity of the Bittorrent token caused Binance problems on: January 29, 2019, 10:49:44 PM
God sake, it's no more than Justin Sun's insidious plan to overhype his project. We saw many of his tricks, but the most humans have too short memory. Beware of dump after the ICO. But frankly speaking this fucker has too much money to allow it. I'm outta here...
When their money will disappear and they will blame crypto. those participants are overrated with this one. Justin is very well known as the die hard of tron. He was taking an advantage in every moment.
He just care about the money and no more.
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: January 29, 2019, 10:46:07 PM
~
I am not sure all the information given in this thread is cent percent right, but definitely worth to read for all the traders and also who want to star trading as well. The list contains lot of DEXs but still they are not completely evolved like centralized one.
Lack of demand that low liquidity, whatever they will try and then centralized exchange site will always become the main choice. Some of them were crap dex. They will never evolve into a better exchange site.
I have experience with a few dex from the list and they are all garbage exchange sites.
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges manipulation. Can't withdraw during the pump. on: January 29, 2019, 10:42:59 PM
I was buying in some coins n wanted to trade or sell my coins but the exchange decided to do maintenance. I felt the exchange was poorly handled. I lost a few hundreds that I couldn't trade. This is a small exchange that was selling a new coin. Entering crypto is surely the wild wild west. It was hotbit.io
Everyone was selling while I was holding. Did the exchange decided to cash out on a different exchange? Probably never know what there doing.
that's why i never try or avoid such a bad exchange site, and not only this site so many crap exchange sites are doing the same thing with it. They did but you will never know that since the exchange site can used another address. hotbit is such a crap exchange site like coinbene
