An interesting question I've seen on twitter. I'm asking it here, for the crowd of pundits and observers and long time bitcoin followers.

Q: What is the shortest WMA that results in BTC never going down?

Seen here:
https://twitter.com/cryptoartists1/status/1501559160684662789

I experimented a little bit, and the answer is 169 weeks (3.25 years).

It's at $22780 right now, and rising about $30 a day.

I wonder from where you are getting your data Phil_S.... especially regarding the current 200-Week moving average.

This website shows the 200-week moving average at about $20,304.50 currently (and moving up about $10 per day), which is not inconsistent with bitcoin wisdom showing about the same.

In other words, why is your current 200-week moving average nearly $2,500 larger and purportedly moving up 3x per day higher than $10 per day, when you say it's moving up $30 per day?

[edited out]

Good work, Phil_S.

Pretty close to the 200-Week MA, which has always been monotonically increasing and is currently at $20,283.

Ok.. so it is ONLY me who does not know what Phil_S is referring to and how it differs from the 200-week moving average?

Read it a little slower J1G, maybe try sounding out the words one by one and particularly the numbers. You're skimming right past the point he's making and ASSuming U know what he's saying without stopping to read what he's saying.

Does anyone here have any experiance with E3 spark plugs on older vehicles, like 70, 80, 90s vehicles?

People with older cars seem to speak highly of them, whereas newer cars and turbo cars don't seem to get anything extra out of them.
They also seem to work very well on small engines, like lawn mowers. Thinking of ordering for my old Volvo, but wondering if anybody here have used them and can comment.

A test. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcVF3xL_fzk&ab_channel=ProjectFarm

An elaborate gimmick. Some would even say snake oil.
The circuit from electrode to ground is still the same. The spark jumps to the arm to ignite the fuel.
People who sing their praises are actually changing their behavior while monitoring performance and it is actually the changed behavior that yields results rather than the plug itself. At best, they work the same as the original design, BUT notice you have 3 smaller more fragile arms. I have heard several reports of the smaller arms breaking off in the cylinder and falling into the piston damaging the rings. Just adds an extra point of failure.
If you want real notable improvements in reliability, performance, and longevity of older and small engines, focus on a reliable source of ethanol free fuels.

The arms falling of was apparently early made in china plugs from around 2011, haven't seen any reports after that.
What vehicle have you tried them in?

I haven't actually put them in any of my own cars, but helped a friend install a set in a 97 Geo Prizm (same as the Toyota Corolla, 1.8L Dual OverHead Cam 5-speed Manual transmission. (Great low maintenance beater setup, generally 32-36 mpg and avg lifespan of 300k miles).
So
They didn't seem to make him any smarter, and he said he didn't see any difference before he plowed into the rear end of a school bus at 8am in a school zone while intoxicated driving home from some chick's house whose name he can't remember... What can I say, he's a good friend. If I broke my arm he'd drive across town to wipe my ass. But not necessarily the best of people otherwise.

Anyway, just look at the design and what it's claiming to do, is you distributer going to send 3 sparks instead of 1 for every cycle?
No...
Does the spark have better exposure to the chamber of oxygenated fuel with 3 arms around it?
No.
Are the arms thicker? Do they look like they'll last longer in the extremes of internal combustion?
No.
What are the OEM plugs? $2.50 each?
Your best bet for a Volvo is Bosch plugs (in Japanese engines you're better off with NGK or Denso) with the correct material & gap for your specific engine. For Toyota's the latest and greatest seems to be iridium, and they generally last about 100k miles, but I must apologize as I know nothing about German engines, but I'd assume they've gotten similar results.
I just don't trust gimmicks, especially when the physics don't make sense. The spark is going to take the path of least resistance regardless of how many options you give it. The more resilient that path is, the longer you're going to achieve optimal performance. It's not Rocket Surgery! 😜

What you are saying is what I used to think, until I saw the video and read the comments, after that I got curios.
I have anyhow given in to my gadget desire and ordered them, together with a set of blue cables, because my car has a blue interior and I was thinking that my car might like the blue ones and run better.
They are also of better quality then my cheap Biltema ones that I use now, it's gonna be interesting to see if it runs better, and especially if it will idle smother.

The Blue Plug wires will almost certainly help significantly! So in the spirit of evaluation, I would suggest changing those first and see how much difference it makes. Maybe even drive a few days before actually changing the plugs.

So What's going on anyway? Is it idling rough? Does it run better cold or does it smooth out after it warms up? Any misses or pings while accelerating?

Fuck CBDCs and the pumping of them... especially in this thread.

CBDCs should be treated like a shitcoin as far as this thread is concerned...

I think CBDCs are worse than the majority of shitcoins regarding fungibility, dystopian control by design, so what would be a proper name for this?

govcoin (Bad suggestion, people might confuse "gov" with something positive.)
1984coin (Not shitty enough, and confuse illiterate.)
pedocoin (Seems to be a common disorder among those in power truly benefiting from such coin.)

****coin

Help me fill out the "****" here, need a catchy one.

Stop beating around the bush, we all know the moniker you're looking for is Commie-Coin. Take any advocate and scratch the paint and you'll immediately find globalist central planning utopian Communists just under the surface. It's all about living wage, equity, tracking, and CONTROL! You'll own nothing and like it! Report your neighbor for wrongthink and their coins will be canceled. They're gonna try it again folks and this time on a global scale.

Sure.. I can appreciate that... but it seems that CBDCs should be treated like a shitcoin as far as this thread is concerned...

I think this is exactly WRONG! CBDC isn't another shitcoin as it's being rolled-out to replace traditional fiat. They've spent themselves into oblivion (recently very intentionally) to the point where there is no feasible way to continue servicing the debt. So they intend to crash the USD, GBP, Euro, etc. etc. and replace it with this new digital utopian coin that carries no debt. This means our ongoing tracking of BTC/USD values will be useless. BTC will be worth an infinite number of dollars, but that still won't tell us how many rolls of toilet paper it will buy. And if the new Commie-Coins specifically ban conversion to & from BTC, what are the implications? Do we see a gray market of direct barter over the counter BTC for toilet paper? Can we then sell the Toilet Paper for Commi-Coin in order to buy a restaurant meal? Or will our overlords notice that we had unaccounted for toilet paper and cancel our Commie-Coin as they send us off to the gulag for theft? I mean, it's really the only humanitarian thing to do since they can no longer support themselves after being cut off from CC, they will work for their food and shelter in the government camps. Don't worry, I'm sure they'll get the best of care...until they don't.

So what is your point?
We all know not your keys not your coins.
I get what she wants.
Why did you quote her?

Are you against what she says?
Are you for what she says?
The reality is all exchanges could say f. u. to russian coins and russia could still move the coins.

So what are you getting at?

I was Disappointed to see that Hillary Clinton was still able to find anyone who gives a Fuck what she has to say. Why not just slink away into the darkness die in peace? (Well as much Peace as someone with her past can accomplish)

Oil price rising again in the wake of this disgusting news from this lunatic imbecile aimed at another lunatic imbecile.
"Everyone else can pay" is their motto it seems to me.

Biden to ban US imports of Russian oil in bid to punish Putin
https://www.ft.com/content/2e0b1d84-e595-4c5a-be4e-928417b9c7cc

This will not make a dent of difference to Russia or Putin btw, in fact they will just get even more money as the oil price rises.
They have China. A far bigger growing market than Europe and the US combined whilst we will struggle to get fuel elsewhere at greater cost.

Utter lunacy.

The utter lunacy is that all of this could have been avoided if Biden had just maintained the existing sanctions on Nordstream 2. Everyone in Washington knew it, the only reason Putin had not tried to take back Ukraine was because of fear that Nordstream 1 would be compromised, cutting off his only avenue for transporting oil to EU. But on the day he took office the sanctions were lifted (maybe because Hunter Biden and John Kerry's kid were being paid off with Burisma jobs?) A bill went through the Senate to reinstate the sanctions in Feb but it only got 56 votes, 7 of which were Democrats facing tough 2022 election challenges, and the Democrats filibustered to require 60 votes. On the very same day they were screaming to the media that the filibuster was a Jim Crow relic and must be overturned to pass Build Back Better!

The entire sham, including the deaths of so many is nothing more than a big scheme to crash the world economy so they can roll out CBDC and WEF world governance without taking responsibility for the massive destruction and corruption that comes with it! Stop getting caught up in the circus music and start making your preparations folks! Fiat is about to become worthless overnight and millions will die in the transition!

After a massive surgery last year…. 8 March 2022 will remembered when losing my best friend.

That's all I've got Dude, so sorry for your loss...

It's a cruel joke. Man's perfect companion, the epidimy of loyalty love and adoration. Play, fight, eat, or sleep always by our side. No better friend, except... only 1 sixth of our average lifespan.
There are no words that can ease the pain you feel, only time can dull its sharp edge. But know this, the man who has never felt sorrow is a man who was never truly loved. Your pain is proof positive of his love for you, and yours for him. Now his pain is over but the love carries on.

"Guns don't kill people. People kill people."

Somebody whose name i forgot

Generally keeping myself out of this war mess, while not trying to justify Russia's bullshit they pull off, a lot of what PrivacyG said resonates with me.

Anyway, let me correct above quote, it is from Stan Smith, famous CIA agent and actually goes like:

"Guns don't kill people, guns defend people from other people with smaller guns."

Found it!

Don't know if Weird Al can be considered "famous", but "somebody" sure fits  Tongue
I found it worthwile to read the comment section, btw.

Well that was a fun little rabbit hole! And just to confirm, my .45 has been consistently loaded for the 10+ years that I have owned it, as has my wife's 9mm. Neither to this date has gone on a rampage and killed any innocent bystanders. But both have been used to put down potentially dangerous rabid animals, and in several known instances (likely many more unknown) acted as a deterrent to potential aggressors weighing their odds of success. People often quote numbers of how many lives guns take, but they never weigh that against how many lives they save.

Well, I just replaced the head gasket on my super efficient car. From 15mpg to 50mpg, I rule the fuel pumps...

(Note: Replacing head gaskets sucks. But spending good $$$ on a top notch torque wrench is nice)

Hopefully you remembered to use an air compressor to blow out all the moisture/debris in those head-bolt holes. (This is the number one reason for premature headmaster failure.)

Yes the job SUCKS! but beats the hell out of a complete engine swap. (Mainly due to money saved and uncertainty about longevity of a replacement engine)

Time flies... BTC
There are many such examples but this one will always remain prominent if we have to talk about such things of time flies and btc regrets:

Time really flies as we observe $39k  Wink

Has anybody done a wellness check on Mr. Schoen?? I have concerns...

On a different note:

Dammit Putin! Enough With The "Pew, Pew, Pew" I'm Fuckin tired of meme's about exploding planes and  tractor powered  tanks! Can we go back to cat videos and video games now? I think it would be better for the economy 🤔.  (meaning BTC price go up yo!)

Bottom line any discussion about surviving first attack is retarded, has been since the 60s, and that's by design for MAD

To be clear, we're absolutely fucked if this thing goes nuclear.

I was just trying to be technically correct, as to my understanding of countermeasures.

 I think you qualify - http://www.theoppidum.com/

Who would want to live never going out under the night sky again?
Give me the quick flash of light thank you.

If it be Nuclear War I choose to be the target please.
What remains would not be worth surviving.

Look.....

Political map of Russia:
46 oblasts, 22 republics, 9 krais, 4 autonomous okrugs, 3 federal cities, 1 autonomous oblast

Total of 85 ! So, we (the West) should create 85 independent countries, then we make out of them a Russian Union like the European Union, and then we do something like Shengen with them, and make them have 85 different presidents. Then they should have their own NATO group with 85 different veto votes that they can do and that group should be under the oversight of NATO and NATO to be under the oversight of that group, after they both have the same view, laws and values.  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Good time to finally dump that gold and pick up bitcoin on sale.

man, that gold thing is truly old school...a hunk of metal.

I have 2 ounces of gold in 5 gram bars and 50 1oz silver coins that stay in a small backpack with 5 days worth of non-perishable food, a S&W .45 with 200 rounds and 2 magazines, a emergency water filter, a basic first aide kit with 1 months worth of prescriptions, and a single burner cook stove with 10 hours worth of fuel. It's intended to be a quick scramble grab and go back to get me out of the city on foot should all hell break loose. In a holy shit moment when you have to bargain for your life, digital assets are worthless. But a bar of gold, a silver coin, or a fifth of liquor seems like a pretty good deal when weighed against the 3 loaded firearms getting in the way of a smash & grab.

Precious Metals have their place, but only BTC will allow you to say FU... in good times.
