I have pondered on this thought for a while and have come to the conclusion that the personality traits required to put oneself in a position of power are the same traits that seek to control everyone else. i.e. It takes a narcissist to get in a position of power and once there they further that position by enforcing narcissistic laws. Your DCA is inevitably way too high to worry about dipping below it, unless you like gambling about being lucky enough to time a local bottom with a first-time chunk buy. If you use Bitcoin as money, as well you should, then that may be a potential reason for some pain: The BTC is in motion, not at rest, and its value right now does affect you. Solution: Develop a strategy for budgeting and scheduling your money-flow around Bitcoin volatility. It is not always feasible. It is especially infeasible for many types of business, which is one reason why we do need some type of a stablecoin; anyone who contradicts that is a navel-gazing ignoramus with no inkling of business realities. But with prudence and foresight, it can often be done just fine for personal finances. (I will not speak further of this now: I code, and I don’t want to spill the beans on potential future products.) So as for “pain”. You should only get scared if you have been through at least one order-of-magnitude BTC increase, and then it crashes below your DCA—oh, that would be scary! You should only* cry if 1 BTC ≠ 1 BTC. I don't live in the USA so my opinion is not relevant to citizens and voters. If I could vote over there I would probably mostly lean republican but the gun stuff I do think should be tackled regardless. I can see the right to bear arms as a touchy subject and outright banning will never work and I wouldn't quite agree with. Regardless, many of these mass shooters recently are in the 18-25 age range. Not sure the initial stuff we've heard about this loser is true but apparently he bought the semi automatics on his 18th birthday. They should ban buying guns (and also ban voting!) for anyone younger than 25. In concession the dems should agree on required voter ID. It takes between 35 and 60 days for a tanker from the Middle East to make the same trek.
It takes about 10 hours to load the tanker and up to 24 hours to unload. If it has to wait in port to get to an unloading dock, it can take up to 3 days.
The average tanker burns 2,625 gallons of diesel fuel per hour. 22.38 pounds of CO2 are created from burning 1 gallon of diesel fuel.
So, in one hour, a tanker ship hauling oil to a refinery in the US creates 58,757.5 pounds of CO2 per hour. Averaging the travel time of the tankers, that's 27.67 million tons of CO2 per trip.
In comparison, your car creates between 6 and 9 tons per year.
Without going into all the equations of how many tankers come to the US per year, let alone our exports, will someone please explain to me how drilling our own oil and moving it through pipelines, along with importing oil from Canada via pipeline will not be more environmentally "green" for the world.

I am quite interested to know what is happening in Ukraine.....
......has anyone seen any credible reporting on it? I mean to actually get an understanding of the whole picture?
..... how many Ukrainian soldiers have died, how many have been captured? how many of their tanks, aircrafts, fighting vehicles and trucks have been destroyed ?
....... I currently feel like I am hearing football commentary, whereby they are only telling you when one side has scored a goal and not the other.
Like I said I am interested in knowing what is actually going on in Ukraine, and, from reading the MSM, I currently have no clue....because, I only have half the picture (and I do not know how credible that half is either)
Would be great to have CREDIBLE reporting on the whole picture...... shame there isn't any.

It does get tougher every day to figure out what the fucking truth of the matter is, it seems everything is being spun constantly. *This is how civilization spirals down the tube. It was all created on purpose, and Ole Uncle Joe is so incompetent, it becomes obvious to anyone paying attention. Keystone Pipeline was shuttered on the same day the sanctions blocking Nordstream Pipeline were canceled. NATO/US globalists created this scenario to rekindle legitimacy for the outdated NATO alliance while simultaneously creating cover for all participants to continue printing money and devaluing currencies worldwide. Now unchecked emergency powers are being granted to WHO while Finland & Sweden jab another thumb in Russia's eye by joining the revitalized NATO. If you look at the last 2 year's events/decisions and tried to come up with a better plan to destroy the world's economy and killa couple Billions of people, I doubt you likely couldn't come up with anything more effective. One reason I'm a fan of Elon regardless of his shilling for shitcoins, and shenanigans in general, is that his goal is to reach Mars.
Why tho? Dead planet. Nothing there but rock and more rock. If we are in fact slowly circling the drain getting incrementally closer to the sun with each orbit, then Mars would be the next eligible rock within that sweet zone of close enough but not too close. So by the time we figure out how to get beyond that whole light years vs. limited fuel weight issue... it should be about right to support us and maintain an atmosphere. Mars has no protective magnetic field like earth, the solar wind stripped away most of its atmosphere and continues to do so. We got quite good living space here for another few billion years if we clean up and look after it. Meanwhile Bitcoin putting up a solid performance during last weeks shit(coin) show. $29k at midway between halvenings is not bad, not bad at all. Yup! I think we're pretty much in agreement here! |
