121  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Sentence End the Financial Crisis? on: April 24, 2020, 08:32:47 PM
This is Trump we are talking about and he would say anything to that would "make america great again" somehow yet he doesn't know how hard it is to go back to gold standard nowadays, it is way too over leveraged to go back to that now and we are talking about not even close numbers so in reality he talks the talk but he won't be able to walk the walk as he has done it a lot of times.

When April 2022 comes and he does nothing about it, dude will literally just say "I never said it" and with even proof with the video dude will be loved by many republicans just because they love an idiot like themselves and will be supported by many republicans who may not like him but prefer him over the "demlib" for some reason, even if it means country going worse, they rather go worse with a republican than get better with a democrat.

What I'm afraid of is these steps which they are taking with the view of saving economy should not backfire and I think he says all these things in the view of the upcoming presidential elections. He is taking all the steps with the elections in mind another best example is forcing the researchers to find the antidote for the virus before the elections how bad thinking about elections in this hard times
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Collapse of crude oil prices on: April 24, 2020, 07:47:05 PM
What we are seeing right now is not seen before and I think it will not happen again too. All the oil companies are expanded a lot all these years for meeting the demand and they didn't know situation like this happens as the demand has fallen sharply and companies running out of inventory to store the producing oil and OPEC has decided to cut the production for the month of May and June by 10M barrels per day. All these fall in price and reduced barrels sales gonna hurt the companies a lot which might trigger the economic crisis.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who knows about Wombat wallet? on: April 24, 2020, 10:55:43 AM
getwombat.io

This wallet?

It's for EOS and also the first time I've heard it. Why people keep using these unpopular wallets and risking their funds? use only the wallets that are verified and trusted by your network or the coin that you're using.

That should be it. Tried using, it says free EOS wallet so I tried but you have to pay 0.5 EOS. Not free at all.

The wallet is acknowledge by Newdex.io though which is somewhat a good thing but I didn't get to know how to buy CPU, NET and RAM from the wallet. They give away free CPU, EOS and RAM but too little to let you trade.

Last time when I used the EOS wallet on Wombat it was free to use without the private key and we can use that account for the dapps supported by the Wombat wallet where most of the frequently used dapps are listed.

If you want access to your private keys then you have to pay the cost to upgrade to some premium account for accessing the key then you will have full control of your EOS account.

Regarding the topic of this thread, they are legit as far as I know but I have used it long before say more than 6 months ago.

If you are a frequent user of the EOS chain then I would recommend having an EOS account with full access by paying for it or creating using others. You don't have to pay for RAM all the time only buy some if you don't have any RAM available. Staking some for CPU and NET is a must for transactions but if you have your own account then there are other ways to avail free transactions every day without paying for CPU and NET.

You could use REX for CPU and NET loans but it should be fine if you spend 0.1 EOS for CPU and 0.01 EOS for NET for making few transactions at the current rate
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is OKEX a good exchange? on: April 24, 2020, 10:26:08 AM
It's good to see such questions to make yourself clear about an exchange before using it which is a good method to practise rather than getting themself in trouble later.

Regarding your question, I'm using only two accounts till now in these two years one on Binance and Okex. Okex is one of the top exchange without any doubt so far I didn't face a single issue on these two exchanges.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A recap of 2019 crypto scams on: April 22, 2020, 05:37:16 PM
The article listed the Wirex sale a scam but it's really unfair selling the coins at 2x the price than the Okex IEO price the reason they stated may be right but for that, they should have adopted only the token locking for some specific period rather than having both the locking and the 2x price
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: April 21, 2020, 10:55:51 PM
Hey guys all these years into crypto since early 2017 I have heard a lot about the privacy coins but I haven't owned a privacy coin yet. I even saw some articles about the ring signatures used by the Monero for the privacy well I'm not a techie guy but I like to own few privacy coins like Monero but which wallets are best to use.?  of course, I can do some research through google but thought of having some names from here to short down my list to research more on it
127  Economy / Gambling / Re: SurvivalBet: casino with surviving game.🎲 Play without deposit 💰 +Slot +Plinko on: April 21, 2020, 10:30:54 PM
the concept looks new to me so i kinda starting to like it  .

you mean the top survivors are the only one that can get real cryptos at the end of the deadline  ? and how long the deadline last  .  i dont have a stellar lumens but its possible that you can add other common cryptos   .  aside from it i also like plinko and slot   .  i think this site needs more promotion because i havent see them for a while being promoted properly aside from this section , for sure this game/site will click  .

Are you referring to the referral contest deadline? If so then the person who newly joined need to stay alive for a minimum of 3 days and should receive the survivor rewards for at least one day. A person who survives more than 3 days will be receiving rewards in either SIN, XLM or DOGE every day.

129  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Betnomi Roll Hunt Contest on: April 21, 2020, 06:29:03 PM

It would be nice if you post the remaining roll hunt numbers available for the claim
130  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: April 21, 2020, 06:02:33 PM
Well if we want people to use bitcoin as currency firstly it should be recommended by the government only then half of the population will understand the concept because most of the people have faith in government so first of all government should create awareness among people second we will have to advertise bitcoin everywhere third we'll have to install bitcoin atms like in Nigeria and other places and the bitcoin should be more stable only then people will be attaracted towards crypto i guess

I don't think the government will recommend Bitcoin as they will lose control over their money as their having now so this will not happen and people might use both bitcoin and fiat currency where btc can be used as a store of value and for the international remittances and the stability only comes if more people come into the system until then it will be a ground for the whales if they like to
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Collapse of crude oil prices on: April 21, 2020, 04:57:17 PM
Uhh, what?

source

I woke up this morning, checked Yahoo and it was $10, now it's under $1 a barrel. And it's taking a toll on the stock market.

edit¨* @LoyceV beat me to it...but my pic isn't accurate, it's actually -137% wtf!??

It's insane. They literally have to stop production instantly else their storage would be filled with oil that no one wants to buy at the moment. China could take up all the oil they could get while the prices are low, but even then I think that they would have a limiting capacity for oil storage. Just a month ago, Saudi announced that they will be ramping up their oil production by 3 million barrels/day. That seemed to be not a good idea after all.

LE:
Out of curiosity, I checked and it seems the dam has a storage capacity of around 3500 days of global oil production.  Grin

Ahh, a fiery dam of oil.. What could go wrong if any country decides to try this? Grin

What a week ago OPEC (Oil producing and Exporting countries ) has agreed to cut the production of oil for about 10Million barrels per day in the month of May and June which is around 20% of their production level and literally the demand has seen a sharp fall because of the pandemic situation so things might improve a bit in the May and June but it will take few more months for the demand to return
132  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto eSports betting on: April 21, 2020, 04:25:08 PM

For sports lover then i dont think they would easily switch up to e-sports because it do feel odd or doesnt interest you at all
if you dont know the game or you dont know on what you are doing.  Grin
List of TOP 10 eSports Betting Sites you can find here: http://100bookies.com/e-sports-betting-sites-eng/

That's right seriously I don't like the esports for me it is not as interesting as the real sports from the betting perspective where I could see some switching to the esports these days because of the cancellation of games worldwide but I'm just practising self-control in these days I hope will follow the controlled play once the sports are returned

PjjEOS reminds me of the crazy capital and crazy fox in the early days in all the gambling dapps where most of the hesitate to participate in the games which require competing, of course, this pjjEOS is not big as those whales but he is dominating the bethash and hashpro by a wide margin in the races
134  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: April 21, 2020, 02:59:46 AM
Hey Steve,

Great new promo from Sportsbet, not likely i am going to win since I don't know anything about NFL but that will not stop me from participating Smiley

What is the minimal bet on this one? Usually it is stated in the promo but didn't see it mentioned this time. I guess it must be at least 1mBTC since you are giving that much away in free bet.

Do the games started back? At the start, I used to participate in the games which are not familiar to me or not followed by me it was just a blind call playing in the unknown games and lost a bit so I stopped playing in the games which I don't follow but started to follow few games to know more about it before playing. so maybe try your luck how it goes for you Wink
135  Economy / Economics / Re: The US Stimulus - How do you feel about it ? Too little to late? on: April 21, 2020, 12:06:43 AM
With the problems with import and export , the developing countries who were providing the developed countries with basic necessities , everything is at halt , there were always a problem with production in the developed nations .

In a country like India which is far behind US , 70% of the people engaged in farming .

In a country like US , only 1.3% of the employed people are farmers .

This stats proves a lot of things , developed nations since ages ago are actually using the developing nations , even with the Corona virus one can see how US is unable to cope up and is asking help from nations they once condemned for being non reasonable.

The US stimulus bill could have been distributed to the the people who are sitting at home thinking how will they be able to take care of everything next month .

On the other hand , one needs to take this as a very important lesson about how a country needs to take care of its own resources .

If India did not export food and other things , one can see the price of the good will become affordable and even poor people would be able to take care of their daily needs .

Therefore stimulus bill should have been in the favor of not so rich people at the same time with the bill the government needs to take care of their own services and goods. A bill won't do much when you have to change the way people think and first and foremost change the leader .

A country is represented by their leaders , no wonder in the time of crisis people are facing tremendous problems.

The agricultural activities have taken a mild hit as of now and farmers are allowed to start their activities from tomorrow after the 30-day lockdown here  but the issue is the supply chain connectivity which is affecting the steady flow of items within and to other countries and supporting the small business and families is actually good as the people will help in consumption with their money in hand and I think the economic situation will not be back very soon it might take some time as yet to see a bear market for a very long time
136  Economy / Economics / Re: The Coronavirus and A Deflationary Crisis on: April 20, 2020, 11:36:44 PM
First of all, I don't believe in the deflationary crisis as every one is discussing in the mainstream I hope everyone would have seen the funny cartoon video made on this topic what is deflating in the real terms for the retail users? nothing in fact the real users are facing inflation with the increased prices of food items and because of the demand and supply so this is just the government numbers finally the people will be paying more than what they afford previous year for the same commodity or services
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: April 20, 2020, 09:50:39 PM
I agree with half of what you said but the internet will not gonna become an expensive thing as per your view we are not in early 2000 and there is a lot of price war between the companies which even gives free data for several people. Those internet giant companies will give you free internet as they are earning a lot from your data and search trends for the targeted ads so if there is a high internet cost they will get affected by that so they won't let it happen
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Holders, Beware the Covid-19 Scammers on: April 20, 2020, 08:17:13 PM
The pandemic will make us all struggle financially too, so I guess donating is only good if you have enough funds.
It's expected that we will see fake charities now, but if we are educated and we know how to verity if the company or the site asking are legitimate, then we should not face any problem.

For me, the best way to offer some help is to just donate in your country to a legal entity that's mission is to help people during this crisis, that way we can ensure that our money is safe and it's spent at the right purpose.

Donating only if anyone has enough funds is not a good approach at this point many smaller countries are struggling with this so it doesn't matter how much one donates every dollar is worth during the times like this so people don't trust anyone with their kind-hearted hard-earned money  they can directly donate to the government public measures fund or some nearby organization who do good
139  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍀DAILY $ GIVEAWAY🍀BetHash.io🍀 | $7,000 RACE |💰Lottery 🎲Dice 🎰Slots on: April 20, 2020, 01:16:20 PM
I think he is in full gamble mode going super risky for those super returns and the lockdown is making few whales gamble more I believe but the dividends are growing good and crossed the 1000EOS mark for the past three days hope it will be continued in the near future too because of these whales

We believe that due to the global quarantine, people will have more time to gamble, so dividends should remain stable & high Smiley

yes, very true many whales find the gambling one of the best way to spend time and these good dividends reflected in the hash price too which has increased around 40% from the current month low so good price appreciation along with dividends which is a good combination Wink
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion on stable coins? on: April 19, 2020, 08:28:47 PM
First of all, as the name suggests the stable coins are meant to be stable in value when compared to other crypto coins which are very volatile in nature. The stable coin helps in maintaining the value at the time of the transaction in USD terms so it will not be an investment those are meant to protect the value in USD during volatile or dump.

When the stable coin is considered as investments.?
For people living in non-US countries especially those in emerging economies, they can have the option of holding stable coins which is a kind of investment when compared to their native currency or weak national currency so they might able to profit from the strong dollar against their corresponding national currency.
