441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💲💲 Stable Coins?? 💲💲 on: September 30, 2019, 03:14:56 PM
The use of stable coins often damages unstable cryptocurrencies. But they are also a good opportunity to escape to a safe harbour in any panic environment.

I'm usually using USDT as a stable coin, though I'm not sure whether theoretically, all stable coins have different infrastructures, as a result, there is really a difference between them. All I know is that all cryptocurrencies, including stable coins, need to be have a decentralized structure.
How it could damage unstable cryptos if the use of stablecoin such as USDT is basically the same as pairing your crypto to dollar I just don't get the logic behind your saying. Also you need to know that the word stablecoin and decentralization couldn't coexist. stablecoin still rely on cash.

Because traders can escape to USDT at any time and sell their products. This causes the price of the product to fall. If there were no stable coins, the price of both Bitcoin and other altcoins would probably be much higher now.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: September 30, 2019, 02:57:26 PM
Can someone tell me exactly why Stellar is on the top 10? There's only one explanation for making so many giveaways and still being so high. I think there are very rich people who support the project.
I don't know exactly the content of its technology, but I don't have much positive opinion about this project.
Stellar is one of the earliest blockchain and is invested by famous venture capital funds. And as far as I can tell, since the 2017 hype, they've made a lot of money. So they have a lot of great airdrop programs.
The problem is that coin holders do not like that new coins enter the market, the issue of coins in the market increases (Because of the airdrops).
Although Stellar has not lost much in price recently.

Yes that is right. I remember participating in the airdrop made by Blockchain.com, if I remember correctly, they made close to $ 1 million airdrops and Stellar's price didn't fall despite all that.
Their hands must be really strong.

Yes, that explanation really explains everything. Now they're running the strong money they're holding, probably using interest, and making more money. I'm glad to know.
But I'm not going to buy Stellar because of this Smiley I think it's still usuless
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: David Marcus, Coinbase CEO show supports for Facebook Libra on: September 29, 2019, 02:40:37 PM
"bring an end to all traditional money " ?

This would be the hardest or almost impossible thing to target on thats why Libra face up lots of critics and soo much hate even its not being released yet.
Coinbase CEO might show some support but on my own view this is some paid advertisement instead. What you think?

i think coinbase CEO will always supporting a cryptocurrency project created by famous company such as libra
because if libra really born, this will affected the market of all cryptocurrency mate

Blockchain doesn't need Mark Zuckerberg or Facebook. Blockchain technology doesn't need any technology giants. Because blockchain and cryptocurrencies are able to make this revolution alone.
I don't support the Libra project from the beginning. But I'm pleased with the short-term bullish effect on the market, that's all.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: September 29, 2019, 02:35:02 PM
Clowns! Free coins give away billions! And they go to the market right away.
Well, it’s not necessary that they immediately go to the market.
They have been making such distributions of coins for a very long time and for a long time, but at the same time no one brought down the price.
For cryptocurrency generally similar actions - a very good idea.

446  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will The Upcoming Recession Affect Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2019, 02:25:51 PM
There are many predictions, some positive, others negative, and some concern a real recession, if not a global collapse of the economy.
But no one knows for sure what will happen, so - while it is important to use caution - it does not seem to me a good idea to be paralyzed and scared.

It is true that capitalist economies have entered a period of arrest every 10 years and have had a heart attack at regular intervals. One of the main reasons for this is injustice in income distribution. Therefore, the capitalist order is doomed to collapse in the long run.
If there is a major recession in the world, the blockchain and cryptocurrencies will prevail.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy, what do you think? on: September 29, 2019, 01:59:41 PM
United States 24.4%
China 15.4%

Both above are the two major contributors to World economy. As the trade war has already started the entropy is just going to increase the money is going to be poured globally much much more than ever before. This trade competition will just bring a positive growth in world's economy.

snip

Thanks for sharing. It seems that between America and China is slowly closing. Ten years from now, we can see absolute Chinese domination.
But another reason for the current American-Chinese trade wars seems to be this gap, and it is clear that America is uneasy about it.
448  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: September 29, 2019, 01:52:20 PM
USD single currency is the base of the market everyone can easily accept it. so, in my opinion, it can dominate the crypto market
Stablecoins cannot be the dominant currency in the market. It is unreasonable that it is just a means to help investors avoid storms and can buy or sell more easily, to avoid being affected by market fluctuations.
For me, the coins that can influence the market the most have good technology platforms like ethereum or eos, LOOM, ...
They will be businesses that have a positive impact on the global market as well as their technology platforms, such as Microsoft, Google, Facebook, etc.
and ethereum, loom, ... all carry the same mission as the big businesses, if they succeed and have a large market share, bitcoin will not be able to stand on the top 1. Do you agree with me. ?

The "current" problem with Bitcoin is that it is largely non-scalable.
Completion of the transfers in as long as 1 hour shows that Bitcoin is not going to do much for adaptation. But because it is limited, it can create a value paradox like diamonds. That's why the price of Bitcoin can go too high.
But in the long run, we should use cryptocurrencies which has much faster TPS rates instead of Bitcoin.
449  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain trigger a massive boost in our economy? on: September 29, 2019, 01:47:03 PM
There are still very low crypto adoption in the world for this

Yes, this rate was around 0.2% last year. It can be described as very few. However, 2019 was a very fruitful year for blockchain and cryptocurrencies. I think this ratio will increase day by day.
As a result, Rome wasn't built in a day, I think everything will settle in time.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: September 29, 2019, 01:41:41 PM

This coin is very similar to Beam. The same technology, often their price should be synchronous. Beam is already on Binance. Not waiting, but preparing. Wink

Which  do you prefer, beam or grin?
[/quote]

There are some differences between Grin and Beam.
The first Mimblewimble technology was invented by Grin. Besides, Grin doesn't have a management team. Most of the employees are volunteers. Beam is led by a team.
I think a project called Epiccash recently created a project using mimblewimble technology, I think it's worth a look.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (QTUM) - A Scalable Smart Contract Platform w/ Proof of Stake on: September 29, 2019, 01:35:51 PM
I like to say that QTUM turned out to be not a scam. Why? After suffering a very long price decline along with other coins and tokens, the QTUM dev team is still here updating the wallet and the network protocols. I guess Patrick Dai is exonerated from the Bitbay fiasco.

Scam?
The project is already listed Binance, Kraken and Huobide. We can say that the project is in good condition for the general progress. But the stake rewards are a little low for me. There are hundreds of projects on the market that offer much better stake rewards.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: September 29, 2019, 01:32:12 PM
For those who don't see any progress about crypto here is another fact, if samsung can make this huge step then crypto has better chance of success in the future, upon all the crypto lent down of 2019 by scam projects many good news keep coming

You're right, man. Not only Samsung but also Xiaomi and Huawei rolled up their sleeves to use blockchain technology. Such news is great for adaptation. Such technology giants can in particular use the blockchain as decentralized storage.
Also, they can use the blockchain as a reward system somehow.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best mobile crypto wallet? on: September 29, 2019, 01:28:59 PM
Currently, I'm using Coinbase wallet, and it provides a smartphone app to all users. The Coinbase service is excellent for users.
I feel that there are many great features provided by Coinbase. Also, Coinbase offers its exchange platform and P2P support, and that's great.
You can convert Bank into Bitcoin and vice versa through the platform of Coinbase.

Absolutely I agree. Coinbase is my favourite cryptocurrency wallet I've ever used. The interface is quite simple and elegant. Also incredibly handy. I hope they continue this way. But I wish there were more coin option inside. Also, could have been different features, such as staking.

Coinbase is an exchange that thinks a lot when adding new cryptocurrencies. I hope they change their minds in the future.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any STO projects now? on: September 29, 2019, 01:20:04 PM
I am already exhausted joining an ICO projects because most of them will not succeed or it the team will just list the token in an exchange then leave or dump the project due to low crowd funding's. This is why I am eager to look in the bounties altcoin section area to get the chance to join an STO (Security Token Offerings) for it was said that these kinds of offerings were being registered to a certain third party like government to ensure the project's workability and so as to get directly point out the group of people involve who brought up the project.

Is there any STO projects now? Please send a list. Thank you!
I do not see any project implementing STO. It may be too difficult for everyone to join or no projects meet the standards

That's right. STO projects require much more regulatory authorization. So most of the STO projects either failed or came out scam.
I haven't encountered a successful STO project yet, but hopefully, this will change soon. Because the blockchain ecosystem needs such an instrument.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about steem blockchain ? on: September 29, 2019, 01:12:43 PM
The popularity of steam already decreased a lot. It looks like rather than steem and im still prefer to use another platform just like 0x platform.
Im not having a lot of negativities to the steem platform but it looks like that we must move to the new platform that offers better things than steem.
It's placed at 80th of CMC.

It is explained easily why Steemit popularity is decreasing a bit. Unfortunately, there is very little content that would not concern earnings on Steemit or discussions about cryptocurrency on the platform itself. In the Trending and Hot tabs alone, posts about the social network are predominantly published. In addition, bots started to "like" posts and comments. However, it will work for long as I see.

Steemit is one of the pioneer project for social network/blogging on the blockchain. It do have flaws and it and its competitor are learning from them. This might not be the ultimate solution but it has proved that the model works. We need more such blockchain based services which are both decentralized and has a way to curb spams.

Exactly. Steemit proved us that a social media platform can be blockchain-based. But the team did not develop much due to errors. We can say it's been in a fall for the last two years.
EOS will soon introduce its Voice project. $ 30 million was spent for the Voice.com domain alone. This shows how serious the EOS team is about voice. And we can expect great quality from the EOS team.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins to have in my portfolio? on: September 29, 2019, 12:56:09 PM
Is that really your portfolio? most of the coins that's on that article are the top coins. But asking if what would be the addition, I'd like to tell you that you should exclude some from the list and this is just base on my opinion.

- XRP
- BCH
- EOS
- TRON

XRP is a very high-quality project, but it has too many supplies to be an investment tool.
I agree with you about BCH and TRON. I think users should exclude these coins from investment. But I can't say the same for EOS. EOS is a very high-quality project with a high daily volume and constantly improving itself. It would make sense for users to invest in EOS.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: this is a promising project, what do you think? on: September 29, 2019, 12:47:26 PM
This is my first time seeing a promising project in my opinion.
From 2018 - 2019 I did not see a project that had many participants.
I see there are many participants involved in the MINTER project and even the average high-ranking members, the number of participants currently involved is around 447 people and can increase again considering the duration of the project is still running for 3 weeks. .

can anyone explain about this project & what made you interested to join?
Is this project in the new category or is the old project running their program again?

The project can be a promising project. But there are no pictures of the people on the team and they don't have Linkedin accounts. Don't get me wrong, but all the Russian projects I've come across have been scam.
Especially mining-related projects should be examined in more detail before the investment.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you heard of DTube? on: September 29, 2019, 12:37:55 PM
I believe that until the cryptocurrency is approved by all states around the world. No one will need these services where you can earn money, since there will be too few users and accordingly the earnings will be small, now you have a youtube and nobody needs anything else!

Well that is your opinion and we respect it.

A few remarks though:
1. every product started with a few thousands of users (even Youtube, as surprising as it may be). Rome wasn't built in a day.
2. a lot of users care about privacy and no ads, which is our key focus at DTube
3. We are not forcing people to abandon their general stream (if any - and statistics aren't great about average Youtuber revenue by the way), but adding another stream in a matter of seconds
4. If nobody would need it, there wouldn't be such a row both from viewers and creators about demonetization, lack of trust in algorithms, too much ad pressure.

Yet, DTube is only 2 years old and in an early stage, you are 100% right.

Regards,
The DTube team

Yes absulately right.

Dtube is a good project from the very beginning. A unique program that can transfer information from a decentralized repository. The most valid youtube-like platform ever published. Users can earn money from their posts without intermediaries(youtube) . I think one of youtube's most famous YouTubers, pewdie (a pseudonym like this one) had moved to dtube.

But I can say that there is still a long time to spread as much as youtube.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the future ?? on: September 29, 2019, 12:27:49 PM
I agree that too many altcoins appear in the cryptocurrency sphere and they are very similar to each other and constantly compete with each other, but in the end, only the most popular and sought-after altcoins will remain in the end, but as for bitcoin, of course, everything is clear, without bitcoin cryptocurrency cannot exist at the moment and cannot in the future, so bitcoin is the basis of cryptocurrency and hope for altcoins.

What you're saying is partly true. But most cryptocurrencies have different characteristics. For example, the consensus algorithms are different, the security protocols are different, the coin supply is different, the exchanges listed different etc. and therefore the regions are different.

Bitcoin is currently experiencing problems of scalability and energy consumption. So it's hard to say that Bitcoin is sufficient for long-term adaptation, so we need to focus on the know-it-all altcoins that provide less energy consume and endless scalability.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee talks Libra, Privacy Coins, SwitchDex, The Gods Of Crypto And More! on: September 29, 2019, 12:04:47 PM
mcAfee... mcAfee... mcAfee...
there is always this person every speculation about crypto. he has been an advisor for many crypto projects throughout 2017-2018. none of the projects handled survive today. and I'm no longer interested in all his statements. he always said the impossible. he is a big braggart, so I suggest don't mind him.

Exactly.

He's just a troll and shouldn't care too much about what they're betting on. I also have no idea why a person selling anti-virus programs is involved in the crypto world.

He had made some ridiculous remarks that the real Satoshi knew who Nakamoto was. I can easily say it's all nonsense.
