161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POWR Power Ledger can be the next big thing on: February 07, 2020, 01:52:16 AM
I am checking some of the coins to pick 3/4 altcoins for investment. Among them, it seems POWR to be very interesting. I have not heard about it before. Anyway, couple of hourse ago, they had a great partnership with Alpheria spa, Italy's one of the largest electricity utilities. How much it can affect the price? There's another big annoucemnet coming on March as well. Please put tour opinion for short term investment like 1 month or so.
https://www.powerledger.io/article/power-ledger-wins-contract-with-one-of-italys-largest-green-energy-utilities/

Nice to see a question about Power Ledger it reminds me older days as I have participated in their crowd sale back in Sept-Oct 2017 but sold it later during the bear market. Their project is about decentralizing the power especially renewable energy where most of them will have a solar panel on their house so it would be like selling the unused power to the nearby households and there are other cool things are there to look into. The team is based in Australia and has several good partnerships in other countries. But to be honest I don't hold any POWR tokens now and not following the project for more than a year now not because of the project it's because of the market conditions.

I would prefer sticking with the top 30 for the alts in terms of liquidity and volatility and exposure among the investors. Avoid investing in the small-cap coins as the volatility would be very high so as the risk.

Regarding casinos, there are 50+ casinos out there in the crypto space and most of them offer Blackjack and Slots so it depends on which user interface you like to play and my suggestion would try playing the EOS or Tron based casinos which offer faster on-chain bets when compared to others like BetHash, HashPro, Wink, Earnbet, EOS Play, etc where all of them are operating for more than a year but they may be relatively small when compared to other big casinos in this space but all of them offers on-chain betting. For new users understanding the EOS and Tron might be a little difficult but it's worth knowing it. I'm using these casinos personally for more than a year.

I really should start to learn more about Super Bowl and how to play it. It looks so confusing,,, but the half time shows are nice to see;)

Other than football/soccer,,, what is the most popular team sport in the world in terms of watching views and of gambling? I always wondered if it was cricket or basketball. I just watched the latest movie from Adam Sandler: Uncut Gems. He bets all on basketball.

The most popular sport in the world is football/soccer and the second most popular one is, like you guessed is cricket.

I'll be honest. I haven't got a goddamn idea why cricket is so popular. I always thought the second most popular sport was basketball till I see that list few years ago... Didn't even know cricket existed before that.

You are right Cricket is like a religion in India and IPL their T20 league which is among the Top 6 leagues in the world. Mzhansi Superleague of South Africa and Big Bash League of Australia all got inspired by the IPL. BCCI the Indian cricket board is the richest cricket board in the world even than the ICC which is the International Cricket Council similar to FIFA in football. The major cricket playing and following nations are South Asian countries apart from it Australia, England and New Zealand.

Why everyone gets themselves into trouble if your friend's objective is to invest in ICO or IEO that's a different scenario. First of all 99% of the projects won't list their token or allow others to trade their token in DEX before the completion of the sale. As per the post, they listed their token before the crowd sale so it's a clear pump and dump coin.

Your friend's idea is to trade and get easy returns from it there is nothing in the world which gives you easy money at least it requires our research, time or skill. The trading opportunity provided by the top coins is high enough to get good returns if anyone is a good trader. As far as I understand from your post that your friend does this type of trade more frequently.

The golden rule in any assets trading is to stick with highly liquid stocks/token/coin/asset to avoid any liquidity crunch (This is not 100% safe but you could reduce the risk). All we can do is raising awareness about it so that others will not be a victim of such activities. Share the project name, symbol and exchange.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quick Survey: why do you specifically use crypto to gambooool ? on: January 27, 2020, 06:55:47 PM
The main reason to use cryptos for gambling is privacy where most or almost all of the crypto casinos don't require user's details or any KYC to gamble. And most of the crypto casinos proving the users some free cryptos to gamble with as part of their marketing initiative so it's just free money to gamble. The government restrictions in using the fiat casinos are increasing these days in several countries

Despite your marketing activity recently, your profit did not increase!

85% loss from ATH since months!

Source: https://cryptorank.io/currencies/earnbet/price-chart

That clearly confirms that you did not make USD 5 million profit within the first years and without marketing! Cheesy

What you are trying to do.? You are posting the same posts repeatedly for the second time as far as I know just copy and paste. There is none to hide in the blockchain if you want to verify you could always do it regarding the dividend payment. The price depends on the dividend and the dividend is depends on the no of users. Earn bet is the first dapp on EOS gambling space later the chain has been flooded with such dapps so users are dispersed so there is nothing wrong with the team.

Vipgame.io looks interesting drawing the results from the EOS Hash for complete transparency but we already have bethash which was similar to this model but later they changed to use the SHA256 algorithm along with the EOS hash and private key to create the new Hash for drawing results for the security reasons so how do you plan to avoid such issues.?
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: January 18, 2020, 05:16:01 PM
In crypto the various ways to make more profit are IEOs, Cautious Swing trading, Lending only with trustable sources and Staking rewards. Through IEO you can make a good profit but only with very good exchanges like Binance if you look into the history of Binance projects almost all projects are listed with profit. Actually I'll prefer holding rather than holding but simply holding in crypto will not be effective but we should not over trading just sell when there is very bad news or price nearing its resistance and buys low after correction this will increase your holding quantity. Lending also offers some low rewards only with trustable sources like Binance lending. The last one will be staking rewards which are possible in some cryptos like Neo, Cardano, EOS voting rewards etc
170  Other / Archival / Re: Ever played at any of these casinos? on: January 17, 2020, 02:55:26 PM
I have never played on any of those listed casinos. I have always been playing with the EOS and TRX casinos since both are offering fast, decentralized on-chain gaming to the users. Especially Bethash casino on the EOS chain I hope this would be the perfect option for your 10th position because of the RNG that Bethash is using. They use the EOS mainnet block hash along with the SHA256 generates a new hash from which the result has been drawn for all of their games. It also allows the user to play directly with their crypto wallet like scatter and Tronlink so we don't have to trust the casino for holding our funds. It also supports multiple currencies including BTC, ETH etc
171  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ideas Needed for Easy and Passive Monthly Income * REWARD * on: January 16, 2020, 07:57:37 PM
The information that you gave is incomplete. You said that you would like to receive $3000 as passive income so there is a difference between additional income and passive income. For passive income, you need initial investment so how much would you able to invest to receive $3000 as passive income. Also if you depend on this income for your living then risky options will not fit you. If you didn't depend on this income then you could try some risky options like staking rewards offered by some cryptos
172  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to Protect Your Crypto Wallet if Someone Searches Your Phone? on: January 16, 2020, 06:10:12 PM
Always the good practice is to use a hardware wallet which is the safest wallet as of now when compared to other options for the crypto storage. But it would be not comfortable to use the hardware wallet for daily use, in that case, the mobile wallets comes in to picture. So I would suggest having both hardware and mobile wallets where hardware wallet is to store the major portion of the funds and mobile wallets with a small portion of funds and you could consider protecting it with fingerprint lock or google authenticator. Most of the wallets offer another layer of security by having different fund transfer password.
173  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - The First Player-Owned Casino 🎲Provably Fair 🎲BTC ₿ on: January 15, 2020, 12:28:06 PM
Some problems:

1) You operate illegal without license and it is risky to send valuable things to you!

2) It is not lucrative to pay 50% more rake like at competitor casinos to get a fraction of it back!

3) You are blatant lying that you paid USD 5,3 million to BET fantasy token holders!

4) Your BET fantasy token is at a 80% loss from ATH since months!

Source: https://cryptorank.io/currencies/earnbet/price-chart

They have got Curacao gaming license and they are operating for more than 15 months now if you feel unsafe for depositing funds to their wallet, You could also play directly from your wallet using Wax all-access account or Scatter. I am not sure which competitors are offering with less house edge. Regarding the dividend, everything is on the chain for the check if you like to. Since a token lost 80% from its all-time high it doesn't mean its a bad token, several top cryptocurrencies are down more than 70% it is a dividend-paying token its value lies with the amount of dividend they pay and it depends on their volume. FYI I'm not holding any BET tokens nor a supporter of EOSbet just sharing my views.

EARN WITH EARNBET
🏆🎲 Betting Competition 🎲🏆
Time: 1/7 until 1/14 (18:00 UTC)
Win up to 50 BNB
To celebrate our addition of BNB acceptance, we have launched our second betting competition, with over $5,000 in prizes! For every $1 you wager, you will receive 1 point on the leaderboard. After 10 days, the bettor with the most points will win the top prize, with prizes given to our top 15 bettors!

I am trying my best to get into the top 15, it seems almost the top three positions will not change as the difference between each of them is very high.
We will see how it goes on hope for the best.

I have been thinking that top players in earbet could be themselves or sponsored by them, as in a part of guerilla advertisement/awarement campaign.

Possibilities are there if we look into the stats of the wager especially top 3, the player on the top position has wagered 371000 USD worth of cryptos. If we look into the house edge of the games the average house edge is just above 1% so the player would have lost more than $3000 by wagering 300k+, The value of prize money is around $1500 (50BNB + 20000 BET). The possibility is they could have played Black Jack which is 0.5% house edge so with good playing strategy they may be profitable.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS WALLET??FU!! on: January 13, 2020, 03:40:27 PM
Guys don't ever use any type of EOS wallet, its been 2 days already and im still unable to withdraw my EOS outstanding balance from my fairy wallet.

The error I'm getting is "Billed CPU Time (1138 Us) Is Greater Than The Maximum Billable CPU Time For The Transaction (166 Us) "....so i tried to delegate more CPU to the same account - same error.I created another account and ive tried to add balance and delegate to the main account, guess what - Billed CPU Time Is Greater Than The Maximum Billable CPU Time For The Transaction.I started delegating funds to the second account in order to improve CPU rate - that was the only success that i had. So account seemed to have enough CPU and i started delegating funds to my main account, thought that 0.2 EOS was enough - but not, later added 1EOS - again not enough, added another 3 - after that last delegate i managed to transfer only 1 EOS from the main account.I told myself - ok fu i will add 10 eos to have the opportunity to withdraw my funds...I've deposited 10 eos in the second account and guess what - when i tried to delegate funds from it to main one - Billed CPU Time (1138 Us) Is Greater Than The Maximum Billable CPU Time For The Transaction (166 Us) ,i tried to get more CPU to the second again - Billed CPU Time (1138 Us) Is Greater Than The Maximum Billable CPU Time For The Transaction (166 Us)

NOW BOTH ACCOUNTS ARE FROZEN AND UNUSABLE.FU EOS WONT USE YOU EVER AGAIN!

It's not that complicated as you mention. First please check whether you have access to your private key of the EOS account that you have with the fairy wallet. If you have access please download any of the wallets like EOS Lynx or Scatter. I would prefer Scatter at first install the scatter desktop and import your EOS account to scatter using your private key. Then please go to bloks.io which is one of the EOS blocks explorer that also provides 5 free transactions for all users. Login to your EOS account in the bloks using scatter option and use those free transactions to move your funds out of the wallet which you are facing CPU issues.

178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: January 12, 2020, 04:56:01 PM
I would suggest a few things and my personal opinion on it for you so that you can take some good decision on your own,

1. Buying BTC or ETH - You already have some exposure investing in it.
2. Altcoins - It's always risky to invest in ALts even if you choose to, consider investing within the top 30 or even within the top 50 don't go beyond that.
3. ICO - No the craze has gone and nowadays the good projects are launching from the good exchanges as IEO. Finding the good projects from the ICO space is extremely difficult.
4. IEO - It will be a good way if you choose to invest in the new projects. Don't go beyond the top exchanges IEOs. Consider Binance, OKEX, Huobi or GATE at max. But personally I would suggest only Binance but most of those IEOs require the users to hold their exchange coins to get into the IEO. I don't think you have enough initial amount to buy these exchange coins to increase your chances to get into IEOs.
