Actually, I didn't mention any data. I am aware that the results of the game are fair in a completely random and provably fair.
But my observation was a different claim that users were more likely to be busted when they do a high amount of betting.
There are different statements.

If it's random it can't be busting some users more often than others. Or are you playing captain obvious by saying that low probability bets are less likely to win?

No, I'm not playing Mr.Smart or Mr. Open-Eyed.
This is just my observation. I don't play every time, but instead of this, I only watch the games sometimes. This observation is not a proven data or statistic.
I just wanted to leave here a comment, that's all
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mimblewimble with POS on: November 22, 2019, 10:10:33 PM
I meant token holders, not ICO, IEO investors.
I have a lot of friends who accumulated GRIN already. But they left the project after this news.
Besides, I'm really sorry about the news. Mimblewimble could be the next generation of privacy algorithm.

Grin was always a bad investment and not because of this clickbait non-news. Its coin emission rate is not suitable for holding, at least not until a few years down the road when/if the percentage of newly created coins drops below the level of adoption growth.

It wasn't for me anyway; I didn't invest in Grin or Beam.

However, some of my friends found the Mimblewimble algorithm successful and invested in these cryptocurrencies. I talked on behalf of them.

But I have never found the Mimblewimble algorithm useful. Monero and Zcoin have much more powerful privacy algorithms, I think.
243  Economy / Economics / Re: Negative interest rates in Germany on: November 22, 2019, 09:44:33 PM
I think that was the case in some Asian countries. This is all about inflation.
Even Japan has a negative inflation rate, ie, deflation.
For people living in such countries, it makes more sense to invest in cryptocurrencies and get 10% annual interest. You can make USDT stakes on many exchanges, including Binance, and can earn yearly interest income.

The crash is one of my favorite games. But I'd like it to be multiplayer. Because the singleplayer is not very enjoyable.

I guess the EOS network isn't ready for this game to be multiplayer, so it's not that fast. But I still hope they will find a way and we can play the game to be multiplayer in the near future.
Normally "crash" type of games are almost always multiplayer, that is where the fun is, even better back in the day bustabit had bonus where if you are the last one standing you would get extra money for being the last one out. Many people went as high as possible and you wouldn't have a true "last" one because there would be few that burn down and lose money while waiting for the others to get out. Hell I remember there was a bot that literally just waited until everyone left and then quit right after, so all you would be waiting for would be everyone leaving, doesn't matter if it was 1.01x when everyone leaves or if it was 100 because all the bot cared would be being the last one. So, multiplayer would make this place a decent amount of profit and we would get better dividends but that is not gonna happen :/

I don't know what the effect of using Bot is to have the game singleplayer or multiplayer. I see no relevance. If you stop rewarding the last player, it solves automatically.

But I would like to repeat my assertion; Crash is much more enjoyable in multiplayer.

This is similar to playing football alone; there is not much fun in the game if there are no others.
245  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: November 22, 2019, 01:09:38 AM

If users place a high bet, you are usually busted before 1.50x. But when the odds are low, the pointer can go up to 50x.

This is, of course, my observation, it may be wrong. But I have long observed the same thing, and so far, this result has not changed.

Besides, I respect Bustabit for creating a sustainable and provably casino.
I am not entirely sure if the all results are stored somewhere but I am 100% sure that if we got a data like that that shows the results of each single bet every day and we can get like months of worth of results we could actually check the results on the "possibility" scale and see that in 500k+ bets there will be some reeeeeallly weird ones here and there.

I wouldn't be shocked if there was 10 in a row 1x bursts and I wouldn't be shocked 10 in a row 100x neither, now it doesn't mean they "will" happen but it means "if" they happened there has been so many bets, like literally millions of bets, that it would be only natural to have weird games happening here and there if they happen. However people just don't realize the winning ones as easily as the losing ones.

Actually, I didn't mention any data. I am aware that the results of the game are fair in a completely random and provably fair.

What are the short and long term goals of Bethash? Will we be able to see a new platform or new feature other than HashPro in the near future?

Our long-term goal is to provide our users with maximum user experience. Also, to remain decentralized and anonymous as always.

We believe that we have been able to accomplish these goals perfectly until this time.

HashPro is a new and highly profitable product; our user base is increasing day by day. We strongly recommend this platform to players.

Besides, our short-term plans include Baccarat and JacksorBetter. But we are always open to game requests from users. You can visit us on telegram for game requests anytime.

Website: https://bethash.io/?link=btt&ref=starthashpro
Telegram: https://t.me/BetHash

HashPro is a fascinating experience; you're appreciated for that.
But is the team ready to launch a new game after Baccarat and JacksorBetter? I especially love Crash and would like to experience it in Bethash.

For long term investment, always hodl Bitcoin is the first rule.

And then about your statement: "You must have another source of income" absolutely right. You need to create other outcomes to maintain your daily life and savings.

Don't put all eggs in the same basket. Invest in some other cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin. Ethereum, EOS, BNB is one of these.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mimblewimble with POS on: November 21, 2019, 10:38:06 PM
As for grin and Beam, I haven't read the article on the mimblewimble protocol, but reports have taken a pretty severe hit. They lost a lot of investors as a result of this. Cryptocurrency investors are often driven by speculation, I don't know how real or how wrong the news is, but it would be challenging to convince the investors to make invest again who abandoned the project already.

What are you talking about? Grin doesn't even have investors. Their development fund got some donations. I don't think anybody withdrew the donations because of this.

Beam has a premine. How did they lose investors?

I meant token holders, not ICO, IEO investors.

249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide Hit New Milestone, Surpassing 6,000 on: November 21, 2019, 11:50:46 AM
Very interesting there are many ATMs worldwide

Here are some of the list of Bitcoin ATMs

1. United States (1009)

2.Canada (256)

3. United Kingdom (85)

4. Austria (66)

5. Span (37)

6. Finland (22) etc..

Bitcoin ATMs are safe to use but they charge higher fees than Traditional exchange and one more thing is that many bitcoin ATMs do not allow you to withdraw fait currency users can buy and sell bitcoin.

There are regulations to use bitcoin in many countries

Great list, thanks.

It is usual for them to charge more commissions than traditional exchanges. Because these ATMs have electricity, maintenance, and rental fees. These fees need to be met in some way. It is quite possible that they will demand a higher commission from their customers.

Selective memory.

Of course. For a gambler, everything is always wrong except himself, especially when he loses.

We know that this game is provably fair. This platform has been serving users for many years now, and they have never faced any scam claims.

This means that there are no problems with fairness.

As you said, this is just selective memory.

Yes! Multiplayer with a chat like in the original bustabit game would be cool. But i think that this has been asked before and since they haven't delivered, i doubt they will. It shouldn't be hard to implement so i don't know why wouldn't they.

I've already asked this question to the Earnbet team. And they said that the EOS network didn't make it possible to play the crash game in multiplayer.

This answer obviously didn't satisfy me. I hope the project's core team can produce a solution to this problem.

Because playing this game in multiplayer so much fun! Especially with talking on the chat.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have created a list of 45 social media based on blockchain or tokenized on: November 20, 2019, 11:02:13 PM
I didn't have time to study them all. I know some of them in advance. Trybe, publish0x, steemit, scorum are some of them.

But I don't see any of them as necessary. Five years from now, I'm sure 90% will be gone.

But you should mention about most promising blockchain-based social media platform, Voice.com.

I think Voice will soon break new ground in social media. They are just paid the domain 30m $. The EOS team is behind the project, and it shows how big the plan is.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prove that you shouldn't rely on icobench and others on: November 20, 2019, 01:42:59 AM
ICO/IEOS our pretty much dead anyway .Their was money in 2017 .Now it just a front for money laundering no legit investors our retail investors left in the market .All the numbers are fake of what projects raise now

Compared to the year 2017, ICO and IEOs are actually not over. Only the fraud ICOs are over.
There are many reasons for this, but I think the AML and IEO process provides this opportunity.
True though. Most of the ICO that are fraud ended up exposed within short amount of time nowadays since people have learned from the past quite different to back in the days when even a 12yo could make an ICO and get away with it.
Currently the complicated process of partnering with popular exchange for IEO is indirectly contributes to the elimination of fraud ICO and decreasing their motivation because most of people nowaday prefer IEO anyway. But, there are also some legit ICO aswell, can't generalize something like that.

Yes, that's true, but people now approach ICOs with prejudice, including me.

Just because a project offers an IEO doesn't mean the price of that project will be doubled, but it does mean you will not lose "all" of the money. In this respect, I find IEOs much more successful and reliable.

And I don't think I will invest in any ICO after that.

Nice and useful improvement.

But I really don't know what Bitcoin ATMs do. Can you sell Bitcoin and get cash for it? If it has such a property, it is truly magnificent.

I hope a few helpful people in the forum can give me some information about it.

Depends what your local Bitcoin ATMs support, but generally you're able to trade Bitcoin to cash and vice-versa with Bitcoin and crypto ATMs. Many of them now require verification (ID, etc) for any sort of transfer, or verification above some certain amount of fiat, though I've found most Bitcoin and crypto ATMs still allow you to transact without verification.

If you're looking for Bitcoin ATMs near you (some support alts too), CoinATMRadar (click for link) has a good map for that, which also shows whether or not the ATMs near you allow only buying or both buying and selling. Fees also vary by ATM, though I believe you're paying a premium over getting your fiat from an exchange in most cases. The majority of 'em are still located in North America with the second most being in Europe at the moment, though we're seeing more of these all over the map in general.

Thank you very much for the information.

Bitcoin-Cash exchange is essential. I know there are Bitcoin ATMs in the country where I live, but I don't think there is a Bitcoin ATM in the city where I live.

Such news and developments are particularly important for mass adoption. It is not used as much as banks for now, but I believe they will be much more functional in the future.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is True Decentralization a Myth? on: November 20, 2019, 12:10:41 AM
No, I don't think it's a myth.

There are hundreds of decentralized applications around. Besides, some projects offer decentralized internet, decentralized storage, and much more.

Also, privacy coins allow users to exchange completely confidential (literally) money.

I've used almost all of them, and my opinion is that everything is going well by now.
Now confidentiality is at a very weak level for most coins, which say that they are private. in most cases, all transactions can be tracked

Decentralization and privacy are entirely different things.

You can use the privacy coins on the market right now to completely cover your tracks. Monero, Zcoin are a few of them.

On the contrary, projects like Chipmixer are wholly rubbish and useless. Still, if you want privacy, privacy coins are a solution, I'm sorry, but this is off the table. You can do your research.

No, I don't think it's a myth.

It is.
They are claiming to be decentralized storage but they keep the data on their server which is centralized, there are so many projects claimed to be a decentralized project but none of them is a true decentralized project.
a true decentralization works in the theory but not applicable in reality because the government will take a measure to get involved in it. they will not allow such a thing called pure decentralization because it might affect them.

The servers of the projects claiming to be decentralized are located in different countries. That's why they don't have their servers.

Surprisingly, someone who says these words believes in Bitcoin, if you don't believe in real decentralization, why do you follow cryptocurrencies?

I'm sorry, man, but I've got some bad news for you, there are decentralization and privacy. Please read some technical documentation before participating in the discussions here.

Grin and Beam are dead projects now, buddy. That's why I don't recommend using PoS.

Today, someone wrote an article about how to crash the Mimblewimble algorithm by spending $ 60 a week.

I suggest you read it.

https://medium.com/dragonfly-research/breaking-mimblewimble-privacy-model-84bcd67bfe52

That's quite interesting... I guess only zerocoin protocol is the real thing regarding anonymity, but still some problems has been reported.

https://www.chaac.tf.fau.eu/2018/04/12/zerocoinzcoinpivxzoinsmartcashhexxcoin-attack/

Of course not, the Zerocoin protocol almost ended in April when the Veil project was attacked.

After that, Zcoin immediately abandoned the Zerocoin protocol and started using their designs, Sigma and Lelantus. Zcoin was the first coin to provide 100% privacy by creating a perfect algorithm.

Following this, Veil persistently continued to use Zerocoin. But after the subsequent attack, they decided to leave Zerocoin.

As for grin and Beam, I haven't read the article on the mimblewimble protocol, but reports have taken a pretty severe hit. They lost a lot of investors as a result of this.
