361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Important Is It To Create An Announcement Thread For New Startup? on: September 28, 2019, 06:34:13 PM
I think it's imperative for any startup to post their Announcement thread up so normal investors as well can engage in the chat and also ask legitimate questions. Not everyone wants to spend all day on Telegram or other social media and thye might just want to post a question or inquiry on the forum when they get some free time. I believe you should make an ANN thread for the project so that people can engage themselves in the conversation and also the Admins can post regular updates and a progress report on the project as well. Try to make one or get one made and I am sure the project will gain more support and momentum having an Announcement thread where people can read up on the latest info and not just have a bounty thread up there.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 28, 2019, 06:25:19 PM
I knew of ETHEREUM when it was pennies on the dollar and was so stupid that I didn't buy at the time a few thousand to keep for a better day. So many people have become very wealthy just because they bought ETH when it was dirt cheap. I don't know now if there is any chance to make that kind of wealth again in the Cryptosphere. I personally think those days are over now and those huge gains were made by the early adopters who just bought a few bags and then saw their investment skyrocket. I believe though the technology is here to stay and maybe in the future, we might have some good projects off of the Ethereum network that might make a few people happy financially, but it's those who invested in ETH early, who are the real winners here. At least we can congratulate their foresight at least if anything.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Doing This? on: September 28, 2019, 06:00:50 PM
I did this before in the bull run when I actually was making money in crypto and had Bitcoin and other crypto-assets but right now I am tapped out and trying again to grow again somke Bitcoin but at the moment it isn't worth it because I barely have anything of value to give my family. If in the future I have anything to value to bequeath to my Son and other members of my family, then I surely will give key members and next of kin my wallet addies and private keys so they may take what I might have in liquid crypto assets after I am gone. I will try to work if God gives me life for the next two years in this space to try to gather some bags of Bitcoin and other cryptos, if I fail again this time, well there will be nothing left to leave for anyone. Time will tell if I can succeed or not or if I will fail as I did in the past three years.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DIVI][ONE-CLICK MASTERNODES] Tiered Masternodes and Smart Wallet Live Now! on: September 26, 2019, 05:57:55 PM
I am looking for good staking coins for the future that will kind of bring me dividends etc. Now do I need to download the wallet to stake and if I own less than a master node, will I still make some decent rewards hodling the DIVI coin? I like that people are really enthusiastic about it and it might be one to hold against all of the other coins always going down in price and dumping because of the whole altcoin crashes. At least if I can earn through staking, that might act as a hedge against all the dumps that are happening generally in the crypto market at large? Is there also an online wallet to stake the coins or do I need to download it like all the other older proof os stake type wallets?
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: September 26, 2019, 05:47:51 PM
Today at COSS at 18.15 GMT +8 regular maintenance of the exchange will be performed to connect some updates

That' good to see there is always news with COSS and we get regular updates. I only have a few tokens right now but am thinking while the price is below 2 cents due to Bitcoin hardcore crash etc, it might be worth adding a little bit to my bag and just let it sit to collect some FSA. It only costs 19.5 bucks now to buy one thousand tokens so if I make a win tomorrow on another trade, I might ivnest that to buy one thousand and let them sit. One little bag at a time, but for now am tethering my profit for the next few days to see what will happen with the markets first. The next few days will determine my moves as holding crypto now may not be a good idea until the market reaches another bottom and I don't think we have done that as of yet.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saudi Oil and how the recent attack may affect Bitcoin on: September 26, 2019, 05:40:08 PM
where do you think btc will go?

I think we are going to go more south but I could be wrong. I am waiting for a few indications to confirm a bear trend before confirming, but it does look to me that we are going to go below four thousand bucks over the coming days or weeks. I made a little profit trading today so I put that profit straight into Tether as I am not going to risk losing my profit. Even 40 bucks in Tether is safer than losing another 30/50% in Bitcoin right now. When a bottom is confirmed then I might go back in and buy a little Bitcoin and if I can make enough together put it in Nexo get a loan and tether it to hedge the loan off. Ideally, I want to trade enough to gather funds to have one whole Bitcoin one day and just leave it be. If it ever moons then it might be nice to do something with it like buy real estate to rent out.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: September 25, 2019, 02:47:37 PM
Besides BTC, there are thousands of altcoins. Everyday there are new currencies.

Other than top 20 currencies, what are hot and profitable currencies you think?
 to
Do you think that fresh new currencies are always profitable?

I think the most profitable one this alt season will be COS (Crypto one stop) token from the COSS exchange. Basically this token had an all time high of 3$ and has recently fallen to its all time low of 3 cents. A new team recently took over and they have been progressing the exchange so much that people will be surprised when they come back to use it. I expect the token will go back even higher than 3$ soon. That will be a more than 100x return relatively quickly!

I used to own COS tokens back in the day but failed to sell at the highs and I could have become very comfortable. I agree that it's a pretty decent project and am thinking to grow a bag there again, seeing that it\s sitting now under three cents. Plus the fact that you can earn FSA from the trading fees, so in a way, it's almost like a staking coin as well. I had over 100k before so it would be nice to maybe even get a bag of say 20-30k COS and just let it sit there. I am trading another coin which has a similar price range so if I can make a little profit form trading that each week, I may just start putting some of it into COS as it has huge potential with only 200 million total supply to rise again in another boom period.  Smiley I am also looking into chainlink and grow a small bag of that as well but it is much more expensive in price so I would end up with much less of it.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: your patience is being tested on: September 25, 2019, 02:43:32 PM
Right now am only trading one coin so I can grow a bag big enough to take to Nexo in order to get a loan. If I can do that within a month, then I can start building collateral in crypto again, while Bitcoin and Eth are at lower prices. The best thing is to be able to get a loan when BTC AND ETH are low so when the prices go up again you can pay off the loan with pure profits and end up with even a bigger bag, than just by taking the crypto home to live and survive on which many of us are doing right now. If I was ever able to do that I would be in a really much better position, crypto wise and would always know I have an emergency bag to dip into if I ever needed it. I did do this twice and it helped me at one time, but I hope to do it again but gradually be able to grow a bag there. I will also hedge in tether as well or another stable coin so my bag there wouldn't suffer from too much volatility also.
369  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is going on in the markets on: September 25, 2019, 02:35:35 PM
After all the $10k+ mark the volatility is still there that's why investing in bitcoin can be brutal sometimes.
I wonder when will it be back again to $10k. If it does, then the question is when will it be?
Most of the investors are in panic mode this time only few can understand that the price will somehow come back to normal again.
Mostly after a sudden fall like this, there are people who will enjoy this kind of scene and will invest when a time like this will come.

Yeah, the problem is this always happens, especially when the Media is talking positively about Bitcoin. Whenever people start investing, the whales and big pockets that start shorting to take out big profits. They own tons of Bitcoin but they don't care to hedge and make a ton of USD by shorting it tradinf futures style, then they rack up all the cheap Bitcoin and amass even more of it when everyone else is panic selling to the bottom. Looks like soon we will see another break out to the bottom, maybe going back to around 3.5- 4k USD and we might have to sit there for months again, going slowly up after another prolonged bear market to test 10k USD again. I doubt BTC will rise too much after the Bitcoin halving event, might be some fomo but it's just so easy to short it now with trading sites like Bitmex and Bybit.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look For In A Bounty Campaign on: September 24, 2019, 05:28:23 PM
I will always look to see firstly if the product or service is something that can get a good market share and there is a need for it. Also, I like to check to see how good the caliber of the Team is and if the Team are active and professional enough to grow the business that they want to take to market. I also check to see if there is a good and growing community that is standing behind the project and of course I will check to see if the rewards are worth my time because, at the end of the day, time is of the essence. We need to value our time more so it is imperative that we find a combination of both good projects and also a decent remuneration package for our bounty hunting activities. We are providing our time and service, so we should get a decent return for investing our time. I do feel the one in my signature is a fine project as it is really filling a much-needed niche market.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin? on: September 24, 2019, 05:09:20 PM
Right now I am not sure of anything in crypto anymore. It seems that my luck has been going from bad to worse and now I have an almost worthless portfolio if we are looking at dollar or sat value. My biggest mistake really has been wrong timing. I got into decent projects but always timed my entry and exit points at the wrong time, which is what has cost me big time over the last few years. I wish i can find one or two projects where I can actually get in early, wait a year or two and make a good inning but it's not happening with me. All I see is my bags shrinking with nothing to show for, so it's back to bounties for me to try and grow some more bags by working for them, then I can only hope for the best that one or two of those projects will eventually take off and I have something to show for it. Right now am not confident in my choices until I see something really take off.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bakkt has traded only 7 BTC so far on: September 24, 2019, 05:04:13 PM
I guess the dump of Bitcoin price-wise was expected after BAKKT launching its services to the world. I think we need to give them time to get settled in their new role and so far 73 BTC is not bad at all for the new company doing business this way. I wonder though if the big institutions are responsible for bringing the price down today in order to procure more and cheaper BTC at wholesale prices, so they can then flog them at higher prices to their clients and customers/ I always think this happens and that's why Wall St is so phat and plump because it always feeds during recession times and hedges against its own products to drop the price to all-time lows. Let's see what the post BAKKT effect will bring to the markets over the coming weeks. At the moment it's not looking very good and the market has dropped a lot today. I wonder if Bitcoin will retrace back to 3.5k USD.
373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: time to change BTC to ETH? on: September 23, 2019, 08:46:50 AM
Bitcoin is a very long term store of value and most of the market moves whenever Bitcoin makes a move, that is up or down. I think though Ethereum in the smart contract and dapp world is here to stay and has a slightly different function to Bitcoin and all the ERC20 tokenized projects are kind of index-linked to ETHEREUM. I personally wouldn't trade all my Bitcoin for Ethereum if I had it but I would certainly hold a bag if I could well afford it. At the moment I would try to trade if I could learn well enough and build up the Ethereum by trading it. I am trying to do that with one small coin but the volume is very low, although the spread is good. It would be good before the next bull run to have a basket of cryptos and a good-sized bag of Bitcoin with Ethereum coming second.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm the victim of a fraudulent activity on: September 23, 2019, 08:30:17 AM
What Men would not do for women.  Roll Eyes  You see a pretty face on social media and you immediately think it is a damsel-in-distress  Roll Eyes .... Scammers knows this and they identify their mark by targeting the wannabe hero out there.  Roll Eyes

Unfortunately all their actions leave a digital footprint out there and if you get people with enough knowledge, you can collect that data and show that to the Police. Sorry you fell for that.... but a sucker are born every day.  Sad

Good luck ..... hope your scammers left some footprints.  Wink

Yeap too many of these scammers pose as bimbos on telegram as well and try to lure all these desperate men into doing stupid things and they are all male scammers, who know how men think lol! They see a profile of some blonde bimbo then they become controlled by these scammers. Also most of the peeps in Bitcoin and generally crypto are men and they become gullible targets for these stupid activities. You guys need to wake up and smell the coffee and realize that a fake pretty face is not going to get all your desires filled or your purses full of Bitcoin. You took part in fraudulent activity by logging into someone else's wallet. Didn't you know going into someone else's property is illegal lol? I would be very careful next time not to listen to even allow contact with bimboesque profiles on the Internet and telegram is full of them, along with Facebook.

376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. on: September 22, 2019, 06:18:40 AM
I have no money and only one crypto asset right now which is a very low cap coin, so am trying hard to earn some bags of coin now so in the next bull run I might have something to show for again. There are some coin and tokens that belong to some very good projects that I have my eye on but right now I don't have a leg to stand on, so am just trying to work for it and hope for the best. I missed out selling coins in the last bull run and had to sell many cheap just to survive, which was the most unfortunate event of my life in recent years. I really hope that I can change things and am giving myself a last chance in Crypto by 2021 to make something decent or I will just most probably fold in the end. I will try though not to give up as I really enjoy watching this niche sector evolve and seeing how it changes other people's lives for the better. Who knows, my turn might come also.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big news for BTC exposure and adoption! on: September 22, 2019, 06:13:49 AM
This will become more the norm as we progress more and more to mass adoption etc. There will be more sponsorships happening and advertising across major sports and entertainment events. I believe mass adoption towards Bitcoin and ofcoirse cryptos, in general, will come through marketing to entertainment portals, as we see large crowds and crowds especially of a younger demographic congregate to these various outlets. We may eventually find also ads creeping their way through television as well, where older baby boomers will also be targeted with that extra disposable income at hand to spend. It will become more prevalent in our lives as we move along to the whole world acknowledging this decentralized phenomenon taking over the planet, slowly but surely. It will b interesting to see where we will see next some major exposure surrounding Bitcoin.
378  Economy / Economics / Re: CASHING OUT YOUR CRYPTO-CURRENCY PROFITS on: September 21, 2019, 10:12:54 AM
Although I have diddly squat right now I did go into see my local bank manager back in the day when things were booming. All she said to me was that in Cyprus they class crypto and trading as securities, so no tax on them right now so as long as I made back to back bank transfer or SEPA it would be o.k to bring in large amounts of cash and no one would bat an eyelid. I could not though say try to send Bitcoin directly to the bank, that wouldn't be allowed. It's nice to know my country is not against crypto but the central bank has some regulations in place, so you would still have to use banks as intermediaries to bring the money over. I think because my country is small they are laxer but also because we are in the EUROZONE, KYC AND AML are getting more and more strict now so I support this might change in the near future. One could also open a corporation here and then pay 10% net corporation tax on profits.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: September 21, 2019, 10:04:13 AM
There seem to be some decent little airdrops coming from the main professional airdrop sites. I found 3 nice airdrop sites and have decided that every day from today, I will participate in three airdrops daily and see where this takes me. I consider airdrops like crypto micro jobs and most of the time, the tasks are fairly easy and as I have a Youtube channel as well, I have decided that once a day I will make an airdrop video showcasing the various airdrops I am doing for the day and if people sign up for free, well I get a little extra too. Can't hurt to do the groundwork. I might even make a facebook group if I see it's doing well and I can earn a little extra. You never know in the next bull run which projects you collect coins or tokens for might moon, especially if they are small-cap coins with promise. What I think of mainly is that we need to be organized and do the jobs that we can do well and run with it. Some of the airdrops might be worth a lot more in the future.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not intended to be a stock. Blockchain has nothing to do with price on: September 21, 2019, 07:28:46 AM
The more people own Bitcoin around the world, the less it can be manipulated. Now only a small percentage of the World's population owns Bitcoin, so once mass adoption kicks in, the merchant phase will also become much bigger. Everything we use or store has some kind of value. It's the way our financial systems work. Even in less complicated fiscal setups, you can barter a few goats for a cow, for example. We can't get rid of the fact that smart money will follow anything that has the potential to grow exponentially, especially if it has a limited supply, but demand can be ever-expanding. Yes, I don't like price manipulation at all, but hey, they are even manipulating the price of basic commodities like food, and that to me really sucks big time, even more than looking at Bitcoin as a store of value. I don't mind Bitcoin being a store of value at all, to be honest, as it works as a hedge against the basket of useless fiat debt-ridden currencies.
