See my post up-thread. Those instructions are ONLY if you want the faucet to be your ENTIRE Wordpress theme. If all you want is a faucet PAGE within an already existing WordPress theme powered site, then you will need to install the faucet script in a subdirectory OUTSIDE of /wp-content/themes directory and then call the index.php file into your page via an iframe.

|
|
What is the purpose of this and how is it any different from blocking someone's Skype ID?

Hmmmm. The instructions you link to are more for using the faucet script *as* your WordPress theme as opposed to having a faucet page within an existing WordPress theme.
If you install one of the plugins that allows you to embed php code in a page or post, you might be able to embed the contents of the faucet script's index.php page into a WordPress page (though you might need to change some file paths in the faucet script).
Another alternative would be to install the faucet script in a separate directory on your site and call it in a page via an iframe.

I received my payment as well. Thank you

An interesting twist to the traditional search engine, but I see this potentially being used for nefarious purposes.
Let's say, for example, that a WordPress plugin has a known vulnerability that makes it possible for a hacker to hijack the site for whatever shady purpose. One could search for the path to that plugin and they would have a potential victim pool at their fingertips.

Bitzfree is an interesting change from the average faucet, that's for sure. I can't say that I've ever gotten a payout because I haven't accrued enough satoshi to meet the minimum withdrawal threshold, but then again, I'm not very attentive to it.

Just fyi folks - comment backlinks (even on .edu sites) don't carry the backlink SEO weight that they used to. Not saying that they can't be useful as a secondary source of traffic (depending on the topic of the site) but if you are looking at blog comment links to boost your backlink profile, it isn't going to give you the bump you are hoping for.
Same thing with forum signature links.
what do you know when it comes to search engine optimization? or do you think SEO is bitcoin trading that changes constantly?link's .edu & .gov remain's one the MOST fundamental concept in seo because they are naturally obtain link in the eye's og google search engine. Thanks BitcseoConsidering I've been doing SEO for two decades, I'd say I know a fair amount. As to whether or not forum sigs and blog comment spam are good sources of backlinks: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/66356 (read the section on Link Schemes) also this handy little chart lays out what constitutes good SEO (note that the green items are DO items and the red ones are DON'T DO items - check out item VI which specifically references blog and forum spam): http://searchengineland.com/download/seotable/SearchEngineLand-Periodic-Table-of-SEO-2015.pdfIf you can get a NATURAL and RELEVANT link on an .edu or .gov site, that's great. But commenting on a .edu or .gov blog post - even if you include a link in the comment - isn't going to do squat. In fact, there are strong enough indicators that too many such links can hurt organic rankings.

FaucetBox has an out-of-the-box faucet that's easy to install and customize the design / ad slots / etc... You can specify award amounts and how often users can claim.

If you have marketable skills (e.g. web development, programming, social media marketing, etc...) you could post in one of the Bitcoin service boards here. Faucets are slow going, but can be a good introduction to bitcoin, especially if you have a lot of spare time. You can also try some of the pay to click (PTC) websites that pay you x number of satoshi to view websites. They pay out a little better than your average faucet. If you're interested, I've reviewed a few of them on my site: http://bitcoinmafia.com/ptc/Cheers! Cynthia

No I don't want a place to test it. Like I did with BTCTrust.biz, I'll use my own funds to test it. Doesn't necessarily need to be an HYIP either. Any service is fair game. If it's a scam, it'll be outed.

Welcome back Thanks - its good to be back.

Looking for my next target to test and "out" as a scam. Any suggestions? Preferably something that does not require a large investment to get into, as I am using my own money to do this
