Just signed up The GUI is nice, but the small type is a little hard to read. Giving users the ability to show / hide content panels might be useful. For example, if a user wanted to hide the chat window or hide the balances panel. Also, how responsive is it for mobile? Just curious.

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to Bitcoin trading and speculation, so bear with me. Is this REALLY a dump? Barring anything crazy, it seems like a normal lifecycle to me. Think about it:
Stage 1: Bitcoin's infancy. Low dollar value, little hype, little mainstream adoption
Stage 2: Bitcoin bubble. Sky rocketing dollar value, all kinds of hype, increased mainstream adoption
Stage 3: Bitcoin bubble "bursts". Prices fall. Mainstream adoption continues to climb.
Stage 4: Bitcoin prices level out, higher than in its infancy but much lower than during the bubble.
It seems to me that we're in Stage 4 which, while not great news for traders cashing in on the rises and dips in the market, bodes extremely well for increased mainstream adoption. I think part of the aversion to Bitcoin adoption has been its volatility. The very thing that made it so attractive to traders scared the hell out of merchants. IMO if Bitcoin attains and holds a fairly steady dollar value, more merchants and service providers will be likely to adopt it.
At least that's how I'm seeing it. If I am wrong, someone please let me know and explain to me why.
Cheers!
Cynthia

Have you figured out a way to make the advertising iframes responsive? Not as big a deal for the 300px and 250px wide ads, but for the 468x60 and 728x90 banners it becomes an issue.

I got 250 for my first claim I'm revamping my faucet rotator site as we speak (I know, I know, I only launched it a few days ago, but already I see lots of room for improvement), but once the new version is up and running I'll add your faucet into the mix. To the folks complaining about low payouts: click an ad and spread the word on ALL faucets that you use. The more traffic a faucet gets = more advertising revenue = higher payouts for you Cheers, Cynthia

This is cool. More streamlined functionality than similar sites I've seen. The GUI could use a little sprucing up, but you've got the functionality down pat.
Suggestion: implement a referral system
Cheers!

Cool - my first try and I got 35k paytoshi. I'll add a Paycoin faucet rotator to my site (since there are 3 faucets now that I know of) and add yours to the mix!
Cheers,
Cynthia

There's no profit in direct mining Bitcoin anymore. What you could do is mine some of the more promising altcoins, trade them for Bitcoin on the exchanges, and then play rises and falls on the Bitcoin market.

congrats with your new faucet mate and thanks for 250 sats on my first claim Thanks Glad it works well for ya. Does it look alright?

The winning slogan is a little cliched, in my opinion. Slightly underwhelming.
Powered By You. Backed By Bitcoin.
Well if it makes you fell any better "The Bacon Of News" was strongly considered. Lol... who doesn't love baconz?

Well, I finally did it - I said I was going to set up my own faucet and I actually sat down in the wee hours of last night and got it done. AltcoinHub's Bitcoin FaucetThe payouts aren't very high right now - up to 450 1200 satoshi / 3 hours but as traffic goes up and advertising kicks in, I'll raise the payouts and how often you can claim them. So have a look and let me know what you think - and then go visit the rest of the faucets in the organized rotators!Don't forget, the faucet is advertiser sponsored, so be generous with those clicks! Cheers, Cynthia

I use multibit. It's an offline wallet. For the most part I keep my BTC offline unless I am ready to buy something with it. I sometimes keep a little bit on Bter.com because any coins you hold there earn daily interest.

You might want to kill your pop up ads. They annoy the heck out of users and annoyed users are FAR more likely to get whatever free BTC they can from you and leave without clicking. A happy user, on the other hand, is more likely to click an ad as a 'thank you' for the freebie.
Just sayin'...

Woot! I am completely stoked There were definitely some class act submissions in the contest. They were by turns clever, funny, and creative. Thanks to the Backed.io admin for picking me as the winner! Cheers, Cynthia
