21  Economy / Services / Offering software testing services on: June 16, 2013, 01:31:02 PM
Hey.

I work as a software tester at BlackBerry, with two years of experience. I possess an ISTQB certification and I have also studied software testing in school for two years.

I guess you could say my specialty is in testing mobile apps, since all of my actual work experience is at BlackBerry, but I am educated in all forms of software testing and can take on pretty much any testing job, whether you require functional testing, localization testing, regression testing, etc. I can test websites, mobile apps, desktop apps, you name it.

After completing a job, I will provide a detailed test report describing my findings.

My current hourly rate is:

We can also agree on a fixed price beforehand based on how long I think the job will take.

Please drop me a PM if you are interested or have any questions.

23  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling two partially broken PS3 controllers on: June 16, 2013, 01:20:32 PM
I don't want to set a fixed price on these, as I'm not sure of their value, so please make an offer.

Something that would save you even more money is respecting the speed limit.

Bumping this one last time. With the recent decrease in exchange rate, BTC0.02 is a real steal for this game.
26  Economy / Goods / Selling two partially broken PS3 controllers on: June 15, 2013, 09:00:55 PM
So I've got two PS3 Dual Shock 3 controllers that are partially broken.

On one of them, the circle and triangle buttons are not working. I'm not sure how this happened or if it can be fixed easily.

On the other, the right analog stick has popped off the internal stick. It is still functional, but you have to push the stick inwards to move the internal stick. This can probably easily be fixed by opening the controller and popping the stick back on, but I'm just too damn lazy.

The first one is pretty much completely unusable because of the circle and triangle buttons, but I'm thinking maybe someone can fix it or wants the parts inside for some reason.
The second one is completely usable, but can get kind of annoying to use in games that depend heavily on the right analog stick, but as mentioned, I suspect it is easily fixable.

I'd prefer scandinavian buyers, as I am located in Sweden, but if you are willing to pay for international shipping, I'd be happy to take any buyer.

Please post here or PM me with an offer if interested. Thanks.

29  Economy / Digital goods / Re: TRADING BOT: iTrader - Trade your cryptocurrencies... Professionally! on: June 13, 2013, 12:00:17 PM
send your payment to the address of your choice below and drop me a PM with what address you sent the payment from.
This is very insecure. As the blockchain is public, anyone could see the addresses and claim to have sent you coins. You should generate a unique address for every customer if you want to be taken seriously.

Really, you thought he was looking to buy an Xbox 360 for $1080? Look at the date. Use some common sense, guys.

Offering to show things such as proof of identity also helps a great deal, check out my thread:

I had no trouble getting a 3 BTC loan because I could prove I am who I say I am and that I have a reliable source of income.
35  Economy / Lending / Re: Wanting 1.5 BTC loan. on: June 11, 2013, 10:08:01 PM
I don't care that people won't get loans here without assets, but it's not a loan if you have to put something up to get it. It's not practical, it's not convenient.
Really? Tell that to all the people who have mortgage loans. (That is, the majority of people who own their homes)

Please stop repeating the gay media brainwash about anti-homosexuals being gay!
Funny. I was homophobic until I realized I'm bisexual.  Cheesy

Oh, and people like you are the reason so many people are islamophobic, you realize that, right?

EDIT: Disregard that, sorry for the assumption. You were talking about spirituality, "western societies", and then there's your avatar, so I assumed you were muslim.

Usually shares.
38  Other / Meta / Re: why dont the moderators care ? on: June 11, 2013, 02:34:17 PM
There's a big difference between saying you want to do something and that you will do something. If he had said "I know where you live. I'm going to come over there and choke you." then yeah, sure, that would be a different story. But this is just ridiculous.
39  Economy / Lending / Re: Need to borrow 3 BTC on: June 11, 2013, 01:09:39 PM
Loan has been granted from Coinlenders, but I'll keep this thread open for verification when I pay back. Smiley Thank you, TradeFortress and investors!
40  Economy / Lending / Re: Starting bitcoin "PTC/GPT" site. on: June 11, 2013, 11:00:50 AM
sounds too fishy for me and I bet no real advertiser would allow us to promote them like that.
You're not too far off. I have a lot of experience with PTC/GPT since I played around a lot with them when I was a kid and wanted to make some pocket change. I've also run my own PTC site once for a short period.

Since PTC-sites barely get any advertisers at all, the site owner puts up his own PPC/PPS/etc-ads and pays users to click them. This, however, is usually not sustainable on its own since the site owner usually pays more per click than he makes in revenue on average per click. To sustain the site, the owners add the option to upgrade your account at a high cost. The primary incentive to upgrade your account is that you get more referrals (the main source of revenue for users comes from other users they have referred to the site. You usually get a certain percentage of their earnings. Yes, PTC-sites are usually pyramid schemes.) and get a higher percentage of referral earnings. You can often also buy referrals from the site, but the catch is that these referrals are actually usually bots, not real people. They are often programmed to be profitable for the user in the beginning, but then suddenly they stop "clicking". Eventually, most PTC sites become completely unsustainable as people don't buy enough account upgrades and referrals, eventually turning the site into a scam.

So yes, PTC/GPT is definitely shady.
