Looks like the malware removal tool built into Windows 7.
82  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cheaper In Bitcoins [Target beta date: September 1st] on: August 24, 2011, 11:08:37 PM
It's really not understandable why people detest using 1$ as 1BTC but not detest 1฿)
Because the symbol for the dollar is known by practically everyone, everywhere, and most people associate it with the US Dollar. The same does not apply for the baht sign.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Proposal] Bitcoin as a Sponsor for our School's Robotics Team on: August 24, 2011, 11:02:54 PM
Incredibly cool idea. I'd donate.

I wouldn't blacklist the IP if I were you. Most of the time the same person doesn't have the same IP for more than a couple of days, at most. After that the IP is reassigned to a new network, meaning you will just end up banning some other random network. I restart my router all the time, and every time I do, I get assigned a new IP address.

I'm actually going to ban his whole subnet. ex: 10.10.10.*
Really? Why? It's not going to belong to him for long. My external IP is 188.126.89.200 right now, while a couple of days ago it was 109.58.31.237. With the advent of dynamic IP-addresses, IP-blacklisting is no longer an effective way of keeping people out.

I would say the guy whos money you solicited and had ignored afterward is certainly in a position to.  Also, taking such offense to this thread is kinda suspicious.  Kinda like the guy who gets all defensive and angry when you jokingly call him gay.
Thing is, this guy wasn't ignored. No attempt to contact Immanuel (directly) was made.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rate My Bitcoin Rig on: August 20, 2011, 07:55:39 PM
In its current state, it seems a more appropriate title for the site would be "Rate My Porn Collection".

There needs to be some method of reporting irrelevant submissions.

What does your post have to do with the fact that if Satoshi owns any amount as significant as the Ixcoin owner does (which is very probable), he could equally crash the market on his whim? How is the situation any different?
Are you incapable of reading or are you just not willing? As jackjack said, it is only true that Satoshi owns 1.5 million bitcoins if he was the only one mining in 2009. So why do you link to the very post he was referring to, where the assumption is made that Satoshi "and friends" were the only ones mining in 2009, when there is in fact no proof that this is the case, nor is it particularly likely?

Please, try to read, comprehend and THINK for yourself before making these ridiculous claims.

The what-coin?

It's just a concept so far.

Why couldn't you just say this in the Freicoin thread?

I don't understand why people seem to think these games magically give you X times anything you deposit.
The names that some people use for their Ponzie games are misleading.
That may be true, but people should think about what they're getting into before they send off their money to a stranger. It's pretty obvious that you don't magically get more money out of nowhere, or at least it should be obvious to anyone who considers it for more than five seconds.
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcatch Randomizer on: August 19, 2011, 06:14:50 PM
Yeah, I had to shut down it for a while, I made a new project and was uploading it on server.

Its back up now though right?

Yup, I just cashed out another 0.1495 BTC Smiley The money just keeps on rolling in.

lol i wished mine was i made 4 acounts and lucky if i got .50 out of the 2 bitcoins it took to get them activated.
I have six active referrals, of which one is the extremely efficient FaerO here. I've made almost 3 BTC so far, with an initial investment of only 0.5 BTC. That's an extremely good investment, IMO, especially since the money just keeps on rolling in without me lifting a finger. Just advertise your link.

95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No blocks solved in 50 minutes? on: August 17, 2011, 10:47:11 PM
If you would please take some time to just use your brain (that's why you have it, after all) you would soon realize that all bitcoins mined in 2009 weren't mined by Satoshi.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No blocks solved in 50 minutes? on: August 17, 2011, 02:52:10 PM
I0coin is essentially an Insurance policy versus year 0 of Bitcoin. If Satoshi decides to start spending any of his 1 to 1.5 million BTC, we need to have a valid alternative. I0coin is such an alternative. IXcoin is an inflated version of Bitcoin with a different guy doing the initial mining and having a huge wallet to start with. I0coin is probably the most democratic currency option we have presently, barring the exception of Artforz, who is mining a lot.
So basically, I0coin is based upon a myth?

Cool.
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcatch Randomizer on: August 16, 2011, 01:33:35 PM
I've earned 2.8495 BTC so far Cheesy

99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apparently something worse than 'worst case' has happened at MtGox... on: August 10, 2011, 11:00:24 PM
Well, SEPA is back on Tradehill, but not Mt. Gox.

Although if you want to sell BTC for EUR on Tradehill, you'll most likely get horrible prices unless you're patient...
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Ixcoin - a new Bitcoin fork on: August 10, 2011, 10:43:02 PM
Everyone will just keep mining until the difficulty skyrockets, after which everyone will stop mining Ixcoins and no one will be able to even transfer them... not that you'd need to transfer them, since no one will want to buy them, as they provide nothing the bitcoins do not. It doesn't matter if you mine thousands of Ixcoins, you won't be able to use them for anything.
