Ich bin wie immer der Meinung, dass man Merits nicht nur bei Posts mit viel Wissen vergeben sollte sondern grundsätzlich selbst bestimmen sollte, ob sich jemand einen Merit verdient hat. Denn würden wir danach gehen, ob eine Person hilfreiches Wissen teilt oder nicht, würden Leute wie ich die hier im forum immer wieder neues lernen und Hilfe suchen nie welche erhalten  Es ist ja tatsächlich jedem Freigestellt wie man seine Merits verteilt. Und ich denke auch eine gute Frage ist Meritwürdig. Ob man memes im wo thread mit merits bedenkt... muss jeder selbst wissen |

Ich versteh das Thema Merits auch noch nicht ganz. Es gibt Tage, da hat keiner Merits und sie sind sehr wertvoll, dann gibts wieder Tage, an denen jeder zweite Post mit Merits versehen sind. (z.B. von qwk im Aktuellen Kursverlauf Thread)

You will have to PM a global moderator or any moderator on that section/board where your topic was reported. They will manually mark it as good. theyoungmillionaire is correct, but think twice before doing this please. The mods already have an endless list of reports to deal with and only a finite amount of time to deal with them. An unhandled report sitting in your statistics means literally nothing if the post has already been trashed. Lets not waste their time on what is essentially a cosmetic change to your stats, that doesn't mean anything and no one else will see anyway. thanks to theyoungmillionaire and you for the explainations. As I wrote i did not really care on these requests. Just want to understand this specific issue. It is better to report some new things than wasting the time to report reports |

I know not to care too much on unhandled posts but this is interesting:  here the report is in unhandled but the post is deleted. In this case i think the status will stay forever in unhandled as nobody can handle it anymore. (no issue for me i keep reporting just want to share this case to underline that removing after some time will make sense. |

1. perm ban devs and real contributors for a couple of copy and paste which is not even likely financially motivated, likely just got sloppy or forgot to reference original source (does not look like any ground breaking revelations or anything even covered by copyright). I mean he is obviously not a copy and paste bot spammer and creates a lot of original content.

We just sold out free speech here on this board by implementing merit (now DT) to take care of a bunch of ico spammers/bots who should have been contained within a noob jail in the first place and not allowed anywhere near the valuable posters who were driven away.
a jail is not the solution, the bots will find ways to go around. Also it make it hard for real new useres as if there is a newbe jail these are also excluded.
Allowing this copy and paste shit to be weaponized is another huge mistake. Who seriously gives 1 fuck if someone copies a mining guide, a news posts about a project, any helpful information that was requested. Come on this is fucking pathetic we care about this but not about the A - F of real scum bags whom we want to reward, praise and promote.
Copy and pasting a complete guide without mention the source is for me plagiarism. but overall I think yeas, there must be somehow a bit more relaxed in plagiarism but be non relaxed on signature spamming (which is the source on plagiarism dabate in my eyes) but now i also think that this is an mostly off topic reply for this thread.. |

One more question, for plagiarism, if someone violates only one time, they will get perma banned when plagiarism found or after two, three, four times till a death penalty comes?

if you read the posts above, you should be able to answer yourself. You need Merit to increase your rank. To gain merit you need (in general) more than just simple on liner posts. Write some content and spread your knowledge. |

like other said here, If you do a translation of a topic this is fine and usefull in many cases (exept the google translation spams) but at least you need to mention the source. otherwise it is stolen ideas and content which is plagiarism. and yes it make it really hard to find. much more than direct copy past topics. |

The real data shows for example: - Late February 2018: ~3.51 million total ad impressions per day - Early January 2019: ~3.44 million total ad impressions per day - Late February 2019: ~3.41 million total ad impressions per day also so wie unser King das beschreibt geht es wohl nicht runter. Aber wie ich auch schon mal schrieb ist es ja eigentlich egal. Evtl kommen dann auch wieder bessere Diskussionen zustande. |

BTC ist aktuell noch ein Spielball der Märkte jedoch ein nur bedingt Manipulativer... ich glaube nicht das "die Märkte" überhaupt schon mit Bitcoin spielen. Wie würde sich wohl ein harter Brexit auswirken?
Das wissen wir nicht, weil das Parlament die Show vermasselt hat. Aber wahrscheinlich wäre die Auswirkung auf den BTC = 0. falls es bedingt durch einen Brexit zu einer Teilung Grossbritanniens führt und infolge dessen eine neue Bankenkrise aufkommen wird kann es schon auswirkungen haben... aber so jetzt mal ganz kurzfristig denke ich auch das da keine auswirkungen sind da ja der BTC einfach viel zu klein ist |

Gibts einen Anhaltspunkt / Tabelle wie viele sMerit man im Monat bekommt und woran das festgemacht wird?
Wie man eine Merit-Source wird weiß ich leider nicht, qwk kann das aber sicher beantworten? man kann sich im "Meta" Bereich bewerben und für einen werben. Und auch liegt das im ermessen von Theymos
If you want to be a merit source:
1. Be a somewhat established member.
2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully.
3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.
I am especially eager to have merit sources in sub-communities such as the local sections.
