Having worked in development for many, many years, I'm not surprised by the delay as my gut said that the 10th date was far too optimistic for what they were going to try and accomplish.  Programmers are just terrible for meeting deadlines and estimating realistic completion date.  A big part of my job in the past was to figure out what what "buffers" I had to build into schedules based on the historic accuracy of the programmers working for me.  lol

Are you on any social media in order for me to follow you easily.

He's on twitter https://twitter.com/Pumper_Ryan
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethan another scam - TWITTER GONE!!!!! on: September 07, 2014, 09:31:15 PM
Oh look.  The twitter is back.  Gotta love guys who run around with new accounts spreading FUD so they can drive the price of a coin down.  lol

I have never seen a twitter account disappear and then reappear before. What do you think happened?

The dev said something about the email account used for it was hacked but then somehow they got it back.  Pretty strange but not the first thing strange to happen in crypto land for sure.  lol

If you want to be consistently profitable then use stop orders on every trade, and set a realistic time-limit for holding profit (knowing that a profit can turn to a loss in mere minutes).

I believe you had mentioned setting a 2.5% stop loss.  However, how do you deal with just typical price fluctuations when you're taking a position that you expect to yield results in a few days as opposed to just trading on the daily dips in a coin?

For example, let's say you buy a coin at 1000 expecting it to get to 1500 in a few days. But once you buy it, it could easily drop below 975 occasionally within a few hours of buying it.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need help in storing dogecoins on: September 07, 2014, 07:14:47 PM
This guy has a site that lists probably all of the Doge faucets by now

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=742201.0

As for a wallet, I'd recommend you go with the full blown official one.  I've been using MultiDoge but it has some problems with connecting to peers consistently and also sending when you have a lot of small inputs (like from faucets).  These problems have been brought up by others as well but the dev only seems to update it when he absolutely has to.

because Qora is shit. Compared to NXT it's a joke, no one wants Qora. Go away and leave us alone.
Qora is clone coin. Clone coins never succeed.

Welcome to my Ignore List!   Grin

How many pages is your ignore list up to?
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ETHAN - New Wallet | Stealth Addresses | Encrypted Chat | ethancoin.info on: September 07, 2014, 06:02:24 PM
Smells like a big manipulation scam.

This made me laugh.  The p-n-d guys are all over this coin, not to mention your FUD (which serves to manipulate the price as well).  So it's not like the devs have to actually do any manipulation. lol

Besides, all the "popular" coins are manipulated and what cryto is all about it seems.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to destroy Monero (XMR)? on: September 07, 2014, 02:18:35 AM
I want to say this with as much respect as possible. Show me a coin where the dev holds less than 1% of the coins in circulation.

Of course I respect the devs, but I have to say that equally important is that the devs respect the whales. The whales make the economy. Economy is the reason why the coin exists. I can support Monero without even having a functioning wallet (wrong OS), because the distribution of coins is right.

No one can really answer your question since we're not sitting in the devs house watching what he's doing.  I do know that 100% of Qora was distributed to something like 150 investors via an IPO.  But for all we know, the dev could have bought in as well.  Frankly, it makes me nervous if a dev doesn't have a sizable stake in their own coin as I don't see them being as married to the long term success of the coin if they don't.

You've gotten a bit off topic here lol

The earth coin forum has been paying people to post there for ages.

And letstalkbitcoin.com has a participation reward as well.
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to destroy Monero (XMR)? on: September 07, 2014, 01:28:30 AM
According to the price history, almost nobody has made any money with it, because the all-time-average price is BTC0.004, and the price today is the same, with very little variation.

Someone had posted this the other day, I think it was in the Monero thread and I'm wondering if there's any truth to it.

http://da-data.blogspot.com.au/2014/08/minting-money-with-monero-and-cpu.html

I am challenging everyone to find a reason what is behind this attack and hate.

I don't know much about the history of Monero but what little I know leads me to believe what Melbustus had to say is a big part of it, especially #1.

Man no wonder you guys ....

Anything you might have to say regarding XC can safely be ignored since it would be completely self serving.

+1 to this.  I am holding a LOT of this coin.  Not going to sell.   This is way better than those other crap coins that go through the roof.    When this dev gets through with it, I have a feeling it's going to be the best coin out of all of them.   Just hope I can accumulate more before that happens.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=600706.msg6845023#msg6845023

And by the way.  I have no stake in all this (wasn't involved with the ASIC stuff, not involved with XC, not seriously involved with any specific "competitor"), just putting out facts.

Ya... again repeating the dumb as a rock comment.  You see my sig right and my recent posts...   Do I hide the fact that I am a XC advocate/investor?   You make it sound like you made a huge discovery or something....

In what way am I "dumb as a rock"?  Can't argue with XC's own document.  Seems as if you're the one that has problems due to your puppy dog blinders.

You might notice that the pdf is dated 8 July. It's out of date.

XC will make a statement tomorrow regarding Jasinlee's prior position and role in XC, and his current relation to XC.

In the time preceding that, you may say what you want to.

Oh my lord. You're FINALLY going do what you should have done in your very first post in this thread instead of letting your obvious friendship with Jasin prevent you from doing your job.  For someone who likes to present himself as superiorly intelligent it sure took you long enough to figure out how to do your job.

1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jasinlee was never an XC developer on: September 07, 2014, 12:13:17 AM
Soon after XC came up in a thread on the normal litecoin forum.  I brought up that Jasinlee was the #2 core dev (it looked like it - he was listed on the website right next to Dan in the developer section).  Dan popped in and said "Do you SEE HIM LISTED as a core dev?  No you don't."  Soon after that Jasinlee was taken off of the website.

I'll just leave this here since the XC team seems to want to rewrite history.  The one thing I really dislike is when people spout some morally superior ethics and then try and hide things.  I also find it strange that the website blocks robots like archive.org from crawling it.  That's always a sign people want to hide things, especially historic things that could be used against them in the future.

CLOAK has recovered

Interesting statement.  I'm not seeing the same thing when I look at the long chart.  I see a high of 0.003 and the current price of 0.0003.  Where is this recovery that you speak of?

Please forgive him, he must have been standing on his head when he check out the chart.

Hey Bob AltcoinsMessiah.  Have you finished playing with XST and if so what's the play for next week? LXC, GB or maybe CLOAK?  When's your ban expire?
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Pump legendary pumps are back! Bittrex Sep. 14. Sunday 4pm EDT on: September 06, 2014, 09:33:14 PM
I remember you "mr net" saying you only pump coins with good devs/ideas that have a future. Now you are saying you only are going to pump coins with low volume. (aka the coins no one wants to buy).  It seems to me if a coin REALLY has a bright future they will sell coins, which disqualifies them from your pumps.  Sooo, how can you claim you only pump/DUMP coins that arent trash, AND only pump coins that no one wants?

So you equate volume with quality devs/coins?  Strange as most of the coins with a lot of volume only have it because of market manipulators and pump and dumpers. Go through the top 10 volume coins on Bittrex and other than maybe BitcoinDark, they've all been pumped this week and have nothing to do with quality devs/coins..
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Pump legendary pumps are back! Bittrex sun. 31th August 4PM EST / EDT on: September 06, 2014, 02:24:57 AM
*facepalm* I give up.   Mr Net you should PM me, for a half hour headstart on future coins pumped Ill disappear fomr your thread lmao Cheesy

Why would you need to leave?  Not like anyone with a brain wouldn't know how these things really work.  Besides which, you can just look at the charts he's posted to see that if you're not quick out the gate then you have a good chance of losing out.  Regardless of whether or not he or anyone else prebuys, anyone that knows what they're doing can make money from the pump.

I sat in a chat room for some other public pnd a week or so ago and was amazed at the stupidity of some people.  They didn't have a clue when they should buy or sell despite it being known it was a pump and dump.  People that don't understand how these things work shouldn't be getting involved in the first place.
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jasinlee - one of XC's Developers is a master fraudster - don't walk. RUN. on: September 06, 2014, 01:49:14 AM
This thread is entertaining.  Seems like Synechist is the PR person for jasinlee as opposed to XC.  As an outsider, he's done more damage than good here IMO. Frankly, I don't get it as usually businesses/companies etc will distance themselves from people that have controversy swirling around them and yet here they're embracing him.

I'll just put this here and perhaps some people should think about it "Thou doth protest too much".

Perhaps bobsurplus aka AltcoinMessiah

Nice to know I'm not the only one that thinks AltcoinMessiah is bob, or at the least one of his minions.
