It was more an economic / social currency, in that anybody who wanted it was able to CPU mine it for free. Later warped into this industry of have and have nots, hardware kings and corruption on the foundation. It started as an alternative to the greedy bankers, til those in bitcoin became the greedy bankers  And now all the asset exchange "coins" want to add on wallstreet, the epitome of greed. Just goes to show that crypto is all about money now and nothing more. |

Devs didn't go anywhere. At least tell the truth and not some other crap cause you're butt hurt over having made stupid decisions. You've been here longer than me and yet you failed to see what happens with practically every single coin out there. They get a big pump and then they just go down after that, some faster than others. The charts were pretty damn clear and yet people like you turn a blind eye to your own failure to recognize reality. |

As for DRK, it's been falling steadily since it's peak and I believe it will continue on that trend until a new floor is established possibly around 300k.
wut? when you dump other coins you get bitcoin directly , there is no need to buy bitcoin You're right, I wasn't all that clear. Dump DRK -> Dump BTC for USD. Buy back BTC at the new low. DRK can also be dumped for USD directly. |

After an extensive analysis, we found out that one of the nodes has transmitted an invalid block which caused nodes to halt processing the blockchain. While we included handling for such events, this particular use case was not included.
Note: It's important to mention that no funds were lost as the result. We in constant contact with all the exchanges who integrated with Crypti, and will ensure the funds are attributed correctly to each Crypti account.
We still checking if this was a deliberate attack or an internal bug, that said in order to ensure such cases do not repeat, we have added a processing that will filter out this and similar types of blocks.
We will release a 0.1.5 shortly, that will resolve the current situation, and also will include an improved fork-recovery mechanism, that will remove the invalid blocks from the local blockchain storage (without the need to do it manually).

I'd also recommend you look into an existing coin as opposed to spending time to create something else. Your time should be spent on your core product, not split between two different things. When people try and do that, they usually fail at both. Regardless, have a look at Hyper. which one will make me 100 thousand first. Neither. In fact I would go so far as to say no coin will do that for you unless you get extremely lucky and happen to pick one just before it gets pumped way up which, typically only happens upon launch. Bitcoin may have seen huge gains last year due to outside forces (and dragged other coins along with it), but in general, most of these coins see a 2x - 3x pump and you're dreaming of a 10x gain. You have to keep in mind that the price of these coins is primarily controlled by those with deep pockets. So if you don't know what they're going to do, it's just a big crap shoot. If you're not prepared to actually actively trade in this market, then you will have to take a big gamble on something. Or you could just split up your bankroll onto multiple exchanges and then split that up into several coins and then buy low, sell high on an ongoing basis and make your 100k over time. That's the only way you'll end up not losing your shirt. |

@ChuckOne Hacker just took the good stuff.....NXT and BTC  I was thinking the same.  But I guess this is wishful thinking.  At the time, some of the top traded coins on there were NXT, BitsharesX, XCR and then things like DRK, DOGE, LTC etc. Wouldn't have got many DRK coins I doubt given it's price. I think most people consider LTC/DOGE "dieing" so they seem to overlook them, plus again with LTC, you wouldn't have got a lot of coins. XCR hadn't even launched it's mainnet (the theft actually delayed it) so not like he could have stole that one. So really it comes down to NXT and BitsharesX. I probably would have went for NXT as well since BitsharesX is brand new. If you can believe anything the hacker said, he/she did say they believed in NXT. |

Just lots of theories, blatant lies and FUD so that they don't have to take responsibility for their own actions. what pumpers are you talking about? The coin was pumped out of the gate (no different than the vast majority of coins out there) and thus the huge rise in price. It was pretty well known and yet people seemed to turn a blind eye to it and let their dream of riches blind them to what would eventually happen. IMO, the same thing is happening with DRK. Huge pump and it's been steadily going down since then including a few dumps and then market manipulation to prop it up. It's over priced at this point IMO. At the end of the day, never get greedy. If you make 2x your investment, great, get out and wait for it to drop to get in again. I'm much more cautious and am happy with 20% since 4 x 20% doubles your money. Last couple weeks I've tripled the money I allocated to one coin as it's been rollercoastering. Just be smart, set yourself some rules and then don't let your emotions override them. I asked what that means and they said it will see huge rises just like cloak did. Should I trust? Librexcoin was pumped last weekend and so it's current price is inflated IMO. Pumpers are still actively in it and will be exiting at some point so if you've made a decent return on what you've put in, I'd recommend taking your profits and getting out and then waiting to see what happens once the pumpers do their dump. At this point you're sitting on a pump so timing your exit will be critical. |

Should I buy this coin? I know its low now, any chance it will go back up? It's in turmoil right now. I've felt for awhile now that the "true" price is around 30k, but with the dump to 15k I'm personally waiting for a week or two to see where things settle out once Alty is back and things start moving forward again. Too many children trading on emotions at this point. |
