1  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SOLVED] Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: April 18, 2024, 11:08:36 AM
Well, I think it is necessary to give a little summary here so that everyone can know how questionable Betnomi's refund plan was. They have marked the thread as solved in order to create an impression of paying all the victims. On 24th February, Betnomi representative claimed that they have completed the refund. But only two users have confirmed about receiving their funds until now.

Confirmation of refund:
AHOYBRAUSE: Confirmed about receiving his funds (unknown amount)
Betwrong: Confirmed about receiving his funds, $400+.

Pending and denied refund:
Stayzor: 0.4 BTC and 4.5 ETH, denied without providing any proof.
GekkeBelg: 0.9 BTC, in touch with Betnomi team privately.
nutters: 0.125+ BTC, pending for review.
kennymcc: New refund request.
CryptoGods90: A streamer (promoter of Betnomi) claiming that he hasn't received the promised money.

Apart from these, no one has confirmed about receiving their funds from Betnomi. Some victims were banned from their telegram group for complaining about the stuck amount in the initial stage. Now Betnomi team has completely disabled the text messages for everyone in their telegram group.

Some forum members are widely appreciating this refund process of Betnomi without checking everything properly. But was it really a transparent refund process which can be marked as solved?

@Betnomi did not refund any high rollers. They are stealing their customers assets. Why are we not suing these guys in court?

If not judged in this life, they will be in the next. May the team behind betnomi never find peace, until they have right their wrong.

Regarding some of the above cases, it is interesting to hear about. Claiming you have completed KYC as if that clears you; it really doesn't.

We are revealing our secret approach to the whole KYC situation today. It was our decision not to apply KYC across the platform and only for users engaged in fraud. The idea and reasoning behind this are that if a user engages in fraud and we close their account, they will simply create a new account and do it again. We request KYC even if we intend to close the account; this way, they use their information to complete the KYC for the existing account. If they create a new account in the future, they will fail to pass the KYC because their information has already been used (if they use the same information), or else they must find someone else to provide their information to complete the KYC. In that event, they have to do some extra work to get a new account. Even in that case, we have systems in place to detect multiple accounts, so we can detect them for the most part.

Just for clarity, any user who has been asked to complete KYC without any questions was engaged in fraud of some kind, and we generally close the accounts after the KYC, as explained above.

There are some users who cried previously that their accounts were closed after they completed the KYC. Well, here is your explanation.

Less than 0.3% of our users had KYC, for context, and the fact that you had to complete KYC says it all.

As for the people trying to make it seem like we are making excuses not to pay these users, you have your explanations now. These accounts were already flagged/closed well before we ended our services. We only sent those accounts to the external risk management team for a good measure; we might be able to get some third-party report for those seeking proof.

Again, anyone who has any legitimate claim has been refunded, and the handful of cases above are being taken care of as well.

@Get-Paid.com, please send us a DM, and we will do well to resolve your issue for you.
It is unclear what the problem is as of now.

We cannot take anyone seriously who doesn't even bother to read a page or two before commenting. An issue will be explained extensively, and a few comments later, another person is back asking the same issue, making it seem like the questions are not being answered. If you have any kind of interest in the subject, it behooves you to read before you comment. If you think it's not worth your time to understand the context from previous comments, then it is not worth our time responding to you.

Thank you all for your understanding.

Again, how is wagering my deposit 1x on the biggest sport events fraud?
4  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: February 28, 2024, 09:00:56 AM

The refund requests of the following two users have been denied due to fraud (and this is not up for debate):

1. hubbypub
2. Pgermaine1413

Fraud? How is wagering my deposit 1x on the biggest sport events fraud? I was happy to do KYC at that time (before your site went offline) and could do KYC through a third party, if needed now.

I reject your use of "fraud" regarding my activity at betnomi at the strongest.

Hi.

I can confirm I have not received my funds from betnomi. I first deposited 0.29999 btc and 3 eth on the 15.06.2023. I placed sport bets on the euro football qualifier 2024 from 16.06.23 to 22.06.23. All bets were in line with the market at the time of bet placement, on one of the biggest events a sportsbook can offer.  I only rolled over my initial deposit once before the site went offline, so I did not get to use betnomi really before it went offline. I lost and won bets but ended in a 0.1 btc and 1.5 eth profit, on my 0.29999 btc and 3 eth worth volume. I had a total of 0.4 btc and 4.5 eth in my betnomi account at the time the site went offline, 02.07.2023.

I will not delete the scam accusation: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5474377.320 and will raise a red flag on betnomi soon. I have been patient, but it is running out.  I will continue to try to be respectful in my communication here, but betnomi is making it difficult when saying the refund process is "solved".

We will process or deny the remaining cases based on the results of the review conducted by the third-party risk management team.
I have no faith that the "results of the review conducted by the third-party risk management team" will be fair. I did not really get to use the site, before it went offline, and I am barely up on my initial btc and eth deposit.

Betnomi should at very least have paid all deposits back in the refund round this week, and make the "results of the review conducted by the third-party risk management team" public for the forum (if this third party review is real at all) when they come.

I hope for an open discussion on the progress of the rest of the refund @betnomi.

The correct link to your scam accusation thread is this one, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5462045.0 To be sure we cover every ground, have you send them the submission email for refund with the format they gave [quoted below] somewhere between the time they announce for refund and the day it's closed?

[...]

Apart from these cases, we are ready to accept and process refund requests. Kindly send an email to refund@betnomi.com with the following details:

Code:
1. First name, Last name (if you are KYC verified)
2. Username (request will be ignored if the username does not exist)
3. Email address (request will be ignored if the email does not match)
4. Refund Amount (approximate balance is acceptable)
5. Wallet address (we will process only in the cryptocurrency you have)
[...]

Yes, I have sent in all requested information. I did so in the first days of the announced refund.

Btw, I updated to the correct link to my scam accusation and can be found above.

It would be great to hear most of those refund receivers to testify if they've really received a penny or none. If that was the plan to refund, it should take time but it's like past already to the deadline and now they're coming up with some new plans but not for their refund receivers.

I thought that everyone has been cheered up with this refund plan but I guess many have hoped falsely with it.

Not received a penny.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: December 05, 2023, 02:46:38 PM
I'm starting to get bad vibes and don't believe we will get any funds.
November 27th it was said the first batch would be paid in "the next few days". It's been a week since this was said, usually "few days" means less than a week, so this does not feel right. I suppose nobody got any payment yet, not even a very small one?

No, not received my payment here either.

I will be personally covering the refunds from my own funds. We are exploring other options at this point, but every single user will be completely refunded in full. We would not have made an announcement about the refund unless we were positive we could get it done. Fortunately, the total balance of users on the platform is relatively small, so this is entirely doable.

As one of the customers with funds still left in my betnomi account, I appricate this clarification. Action speaks lounder than words though. So lets see action.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ 0✘BET | Casino & Sportsbook | NO KYC ' Fast Payouts! 🎲⚽ on: November 07, 2023, 08:24:01 PM
It is better to dump cash in the ocean than deposit to this site judging by the way they have treated me.
Well I can't judge or from afar. I have not used the casino before so o can't say anything about the casino and according to saying "experience is the best teacher" and you have experienced it so you the how it is and you know better. Really it is not good to spoiled their name from this manner. Or is it an exit package they are trying to create for users? Because the way things are going is not funny anymore.

If the side is under maintenance then they should their customers or the update it here so people will be aware of what is happening in the website. But this one they are bringing back what has been said at the time of registration to the more months account doesn't really look nice. It is suspicious. Well I pray they should fix the issue as so as possible.

They are up and running. That is not the issue with this site.

I am quoting the image part for visibility. Staying true to my post here, I'll guide you to raise a flag if you deemed it necessary. The shortcut is to simply click this button, and you can choose which type of flag you deemed fits your situation better.

If you want a comprehensive steps, though:

1. Go to Betnomi's profile and click the button of "trust" on that page

2. From the "trust feedback" page, scroll way to the bottom of the page where you get to the point where you can leave feedback [you can leave a negative one for them too if you want to]. Right next to the negative feedback, there's a link to raise a flag.

3. From that point, to which you'll be redirected to the page below, you can choose which type of flag you want to raise.

Flag type-1 will only need 1 DT support to be active, but it's the lightest flag and only appear to newbie and guests. If I may judge from your situation, it's more fitting to raise a type-2 flag [a violation of casual or implied agreement], it'll require 3 DT supports to be active, but judging from current situation, I don't think you'll find any difficulties to get [a lot of] supports. You can arguably raise a type-3 flag too, considering that they violate a written agreement [their ToS], it'll also require 3 DT supports. The decision is yours.

Flagged raised. Such a shame betnomi management have chosen this route.

1. Create flags.
2. Post all flags in one comment so that everyone can find it easily to support or if they want to oppose.

Sadly we are dealing with some completely newbies who don't have any idea how this flag system works or even how to create one.

@Stayzor, answering you in this post, not in the PM because let's help someone else too who doesn't know how to do the same.

You want to create a flag against the account betnomi
[1.] You will need to create a topic [scam accusation topic] where you will provide as many evidence as you can and describe your case. Scam accusation guideline https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0
[2.] Go to betnomi trust page.
Profile ---------------> Trust : You are here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2532772
Scroll down and look for a link text called "add a flag" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;addflag=2532772
[3.] Everything else are self explaining.

If you find me not responding you quickly, you can just leave your questions for everyone. Many will show you how to do a flag properly.

Where do I post the scam accusation?

How do I present evidence of my deposit at betnomi in the scam accusation? What should I link/include?

Want to see proof?

I have 20 000$ stuck in betnomi.
I highly doubt it.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 18, 2023, 05:28:22 PM
Most likely the complaint will end in nothing. I wrote the complaint hoping to pressure betnomi to give a response. It is disrespectful to their customers to go offline 16 days and not commuticate officially when they will be back.

Whatever the route seens as the best, by players who have funds stuck there, I will join.

Yes, I am. I will not sit and do nothing regarding a (for me) big balance I had there. Therefore, I speak out at casino.guru. I only wish people well here in this community. Hope you can understand.

I have 20 000$ stuck in betnomi. I would be impressed if you can offer that in bonuses Wink

Wait... you're not joking?

If this is true, though I sympathize with your situation, I don't think there's much CG can do if betnomi didn't even respond, let alone has any intention to process your withdrawal. CG [as well as this forum] can only intermediate disputes, they can't force and make any platform to pay any amount due.

17  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: July 18, 2023, 04:44:01 PM
Was meant as a half joke at trustdice. The part about 20 000 $ is unfortunately true. I have no other motive than to claim my balance, which I have proof of, and betnomi will have records of. I hope nothing more than that this gets solved asap.

[...]

it looks like they didn't have customers anymore and went bankrupt and returned the money of the few customers they had because if they had a lot of customers then we would be seeing a scenario where a lot of people would be complaining about them here, and it's strange to see that the casino. guro has not posted any notice that the casino is not working

Though it's a quite likely possibility, wouldn't you agree that if this is what happened, then this thread will be filled with people saying they're lucky they've move all of their funds to other casino one week ago or last month, or that they knew that it's coming so they've withdrawn everything, things that goes along the line? But no one said these too.

The lack of complain also befuddled me, but if I have to throw my wild guess, I think most people here are waiting for their good news, still having a good faith that betnomi will return so they don't want to raise their accusation before they have something concrete or more signs pointing south.

edit: I am still not sure if this user is being serious or not with his post yesterday, but I just peeked at CG and found a complaint raised about 16 hours ago with similar amount to what he claimed. If that's him on CG, then there's the first case against betnomi regarding their current situation.

edit 2: taking a pause to give it another thought from different perspective, there's also a possibility that the complaint is not real and that the user is taking advantage of the current situation. On that other thread where he posted his lost, a competitor was offering [now deleted for whatever reason, that post was also made and removed on this thread too] a consolation bonus for anyone on their platform. I think we should consider a possibility that the user made a bet that betnomi won't join and resolve the situation at CG given their current situation on this forum, thus got it ruled against them and favoring him, and thus he can use that to claim that [now deleted] bonus on neighboring platform.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 18, 2023, 04:37:26 PM
Still learning I suppose. Read a few decent reveiws. Bookie had been running a few years. Seemed like a legit site with good limits. I deposited 0.29 btc and 3 eth the 15th of June to bet on the euro qualfier. Placed handicap bets on portugal-iceland. Won most of them. Meant to withdraw soon after, but got stuck in the their kyc process. And then they went offline:( Meant to have funds there for a week only. I never have funds at bookies unless I will have action on some match. Will be more picky regarding crypto bookies in the future. That is for sure.

I have 20 000$ stuck in betnomi. I would be impressed if you can offer that in bonuses Wink

Wait... you're not joking?

If this is true, then it seems that this gambler lacks knowledge of risk management. It's common knowledge that online casinos, or any online platforms for that matter, can shut down unexpectedly. Therefore, it is crucial to minimize risk exposure. $20k is a substantial amount of money for an average gambler, but I hope that the user who complained will be able to move on even if the full amount is not recovered.

As of the moment, the site is still inaccessible.

TrustDice representative here. I would like to reiterate that we are sorry to see what's happening here to a fellow casino/sportsbook and its customers. These unfortunate incidents not only affect Betnomi themselves but might also erode trust in the entire crypto iGaming sector, which could have repercussions for all crypto casinos & sportsbooks including ourselves.

This industry is becoming increasingly cut-throat for a variety of reasons. Fees being charged on operators have become more expensive than before. In the meanwhile, scams, abuses, and wallet theft attempts are getting a lot more prevalent. As a result, a minor mistake or oversight, one that may go unnoticed in day-to-day operations and won’t appear significant before, can now lead to devastating consequences. Our hearts go out to Betnomi and also to the players who are experiencing difficulties accessing their funds there.

To safeguard people's trust in the entire industry, I feel there is something we can do as a somewhat established crypto casino & sportsbook. I know there gonna be cynical comments when I say this, especially from those who don't have their money locked in Betnomi. However, we still would like to seek feedback from those who are actually affected by this unfortunate event:
Do you guys think it would be nice for us to offer free bonuses to the players who have their money locked in Betnomi? I can discuss this possibility with the team if the community welcome such an idea, as I feel it could provide some relief during this challenging time.

We'd love to hear what victims of this incident think of this idea. If it is positive in general, I will discuss how to implement it with the team.

Best,
TrustDice Team
