Do you guys think it would be nice for us to offer free bonuses to the players who have their money locked in Betnomi? I can discuss this possibility with the team if the community welcome such an idea, as I feel it could provide some relief during this challenging time.

We call it cross-marketing LOL. Really it does not look good when one will see you are stepping into another business and offering your promotions.

I remember we have a very popular quote from Al Mutanabbi in Arabic that says: "Some people's disasters are others' benefits," or in another example, "One man's meat is another man's poison." This situation applies to Betnomi Casino and Trustdice. But after all what Coinbox1 is offering can't be entirely bad or just seeing it as a cheap marketing, as it can genuinely help those who suffered from whatever happened with Betnomi ( if they offer good bonuses).
 Until now nobody really knows the intentions of their team and why there was no warning before going into maintenance mode on the website or at least scheduling a fixed date for the comeback. Considering all the circumstances here it is unlikely that anything positive will appear soon.
I agree with you on the point where you stated that one competitor's failure is another one stepping leader to the next level if not for anything at least the ugly incident that happened to Betnotmi could happen to any casino as the ops already stated so if it an abuse or a hack that is responsible for the close down of betnomi services it then means that other gambling platform to set up and make resistant plans for any attempt on their own casino too because the attack on the casino database can indeed affect every other part.

We've seen many operators who simply integrate bunch of 3rd party services to make a site. This means they got their entire backend being offered & maintained by someone else, and this can often be extended to their database, their customer support, their affiliate management system, and even risk management system.

I don't intend to badmouth any competitors. Everyone got their own way of doing business and it is for players themselves to decide where to play. Operators following the above pattern usually need a lot less investment and often able to provide better bonuses. But as the industry today faces more scams, hacks and other challenges, such setup is simply more vulnerable than in-house solutions.

I am not at liberty to share what security measures TrustDice keeps developing. But we take pride in the fact that we enhance it every single month, which is simply impossible for a casino site created from integrating 3rd party services.

As for the consolation bonuses to players suffering from this incident, thanks for all the feedback. Allow me more time to seek wider feedback in the forum and in the meanwhile, discuss with the team in terms of how we can implement it.

The situation about Betnomi isn't clear yet. Betnomi hasn't been marked as exit scam or hacked casino. Although some forum members have raised concern about a promotional email which they received from an unknown casino.

Anyway, the offer from TrustDice representative isn't good at this stage as there is a possibility that Betnomi will get back into the business again. But we have previously seen this kind of offer from Bitsler for some gamblers who was a victim of scam casino Betking.

I think it's a good promotion to be honest. It's kind of like an incentives despite the unluckyness of your funds being locked out inside betnomi. I don't see it as a negative move for them even if betnomi get backed, as long as they made a user entered their casino and deposit some money, it is somehow a win for them. They are competitors and I understand that casinos who are trying to get the trust of betnomi current users that have lost their patience and trust.

When you are a bigger casino and sportbook, you need wide range of options. These days almost all big gambling websites are dependent with third party providers.

As per my knowledge bet365 is the most leading online gambling platform and if I am not wrong then they even use third party providers. It's just impossible for a casino not to use these providers. To become a big casino you need thousands of games, slots. For live-games you need millions of investments for the setup which is too expensive for a single hand business. The providers work for many casinos and that's how they balance the cost and earning. Everything has it's balance. Working with providers benefit both party and balancing the industry.

I am sorry, I have not checked TrustDice yet not even visited your homepage. If you are not using any provider then I am sure you are only limited to some original games. The business you do and the business gambling website like bet365 does will have miles of difference. I don't think there is anything you should have to underestimate a business who are using third party providers.

Just my two cents.

it's definitely time to start looking at the situation as a case where the casino won't come back, my question is why I don't see many people complaining here on the forum about having money stuck in the casino? Will they refund people's money? I was watching these every day and I didn't see people coming to complain that they had money stuck in the casino, so today I went to see once again how their reputation is on trustpilot and casino.guro and to my surprise, I didn't see any complaints this month against them on trustpilot, this can be seen here:

Though it's a quite likely possibility, wouldn't you agree that if this is what happened, then this thread will be filled with people saying they're lucky they've move all of their funds to other casino one week ago or last month, or that they knew that it's coming so they've withdrawn everything, things that goes along the line? But no one said these too.

The lack of complain also befuddled me, but if I have to throw my wild guess, I think most people here are waiting for their good news, still having a good faith that betnomi will return so they don't want to raise their accusation before they have something concrete or more signs pointing south.



edit: I am still not sure if this user is being serious or not with his post yesterday, but I just peeked at CG and found a complaint raised about 16 hours ago with similar amount to what he claimed. If that's him on CG, then there's the first case against betnomi regarding their current situation.



edit 2: taking a pause to give it another thought from different perspective, there's also a possibility that the complaint is not real and that the user is taking advantage of the current situation. On that other thread where he posted his lost, a competitor was offering [now deleted for whatever reason, that post was also made and removed on this thread too] a consolation bonus for anyone on their platform. I think we should consider a possibility that the user made a bet that betnomi won't join and resolve the situation at CG given their current situation on this forum, thus got it ruled against them and favoring him, and thus he can use that to claim that [now deleted] bonus on neighboring platform.

Was meant as a half joke at trustdice. The part about 20 000 $ is unfortunately true. I have no other motive than to claim my balance, which I have proof of, and betnomi will have records of. I hope nothing more than that this gets solved asap.

Its more likely that everyone that requested small amount of withdrawal before the site went offline got their money back and yeah iirc you can actually see all players activity in the wager tab so there was only handful amount of players wagering on site.

As for the players not complaining, there were some people complaining in their telegram channel but out of 4.2k members on the channel there was probably less than 25 users complaining there so most likely the channel consist like 98% of bots. I also know some bitcointalk members that still have their funds on betnomi though

Maybe it's really the case. They had a signature campaign not too long ago, so it's hard to believe that they have ran out of customers and funds in that short span of time. If there were no complaints and not a lot of people raising their concerns on the platform, it seems that they have not done an exit scam but rather, just became insolvent and lost money in the process. It’s too early to call it like that, but if no one’s adding to the noise, that could mean that things didn’t go south as what others are trying to make it look like, but who knows?

it looks like they didn't have customers anymore and went bankrupt and returned the money of the few customers they had because if they had a lot of customers then we would be seeing a scenario where a lot of people would be complaining about them here, and it's strange to see that the casino. guro has not posted any notice that the casino is not working

Maybe it's really the case. They had a signature campaign not too long ago, so it's hard to believe that they have ran out of customers and funds in that short span of time. If there were no complaints and not a lot of people raising their concerns on the platform, it seems that they have not done an exit scam but rather, just became insolvent and lost money in the process. It’s too early to call it like that, but if no one’s adding to the noise, that could mean that things didn’t go south as what others are trying to make it look like, but who knows?

It's safer to halt gambling on the site till these problems completely solved. Betnomi team proceed withdrawals for their users manually so it requires more time for approval and processing and it is not automated permissionless withdrawals from their hot wallets.

We don't know that they are going to insolvent or just a problem with a person who is in charge of withdrawal approval and processing. If you have fund want to to go ahead, submit your withdrawal request and wait for it to be completed. Before they officially make announcement and their site operation returns to normal, don't take more risk by depositing more money to your account.

Things will never be the same again... this is taking too long, I think all ships have sailed a long time ago. They could have issued any kind of announcement, they could have been much more honest with the community and their players, and all we got is total silence. It's very unprofessional and annoying...

Well, they have definitely done a lot of nice things, but we all know how hard can be to build a reputation, and how all that can disappear quickly with one bad move. And I think Betnomi already made a few bad moves...

I think what he tried to say is that after the last contact on 8th of June, where they asked for another document on top of several documents that's been asked before, and up to this day, he still hasn't get his withdrawal, thus, "this site failure is another step towards disaster." I don't think if the ship's sinking, they'll still employ people to work on KYC, they'll most likely resort to skeleton employees, and likewise, if they still have people to send email their members about KYC, the ship's probably not about to sink.

I think Betnomi is dead and all funds are gone, including my own 0.9 BTC. Absolute nightmare and one of the worst experiences financially in my life.

But the way I read his "yet they keep asking for more" is that they are still in email contact with him about verifying his documents. Which would really surprise me because they look dead and buried so it would shock me if there are still employees answering emails and verifying or rejecting documents.

I dont know what they are thinking but this is not the way how any serious casino should behave.
They vanished all of the sudden from everywhere, shut down their social media, stop activity in telegram, and that is not something you do when you have website in scheduled maintenance.
This does not look like classical exit scam, but they are slowly sinking the Betnomi ship.
