81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✪ Unattainium ✪ on: August 10, 2014, 07:57:37 PM
No matter what happens to this coin or this dev...

I implore everyone here to be skeptical of Bitspender, and his minions, henceforth.

At the very least, they have proven to be cyberbullies of the highest caliber.

They have the resources to manipulate markets and control devs.

Remember, corruption leads to corruption, and if anyone in cryptoland claims to be older and wiser, or to have more money, stop and think. It is analogous to a politician claiming the same things.

This is their life, their business. Of course they are going to do what they have to do to make a profit.  And the way they speak to everyone...well, it speaks for itself. I myself have been belittled by them, called names like moron and stupid.  And have also been a victim of their condescending attitudes, mostly recently being called "kid"

So once again I beg you, please keep an open mind and always try to take a look at the situation from all sides.  Yes, a lot of the devs on here are scammers and scumbags, but that doesn't automatically make anyone in the community, especially one with the resources of Bitspender, any less accountable.  If anything, as I said before, his actions SHOULD be under the microscope of the entire community.  They are definitely under mine.

I would suggest a hardfork and takeover of this coin by the community to make it truly live up to it's name.  The dev here is succeeding only in killing it.  Let's have a vote.  If the community decides it wants to continue with this dev and his flawed plans then fine either way we can move on.

I think we already know my vote.

+1 for dev, not that it really means anything

Dude!  You need to RELaaxxx.  Why are you acting like a psycho ex-girlfriend?  You keep going on about clearing your name.  Does this dev really have that much control over your name?  Has your reputation taken that big of a hit?  Why is it so important?  Have you been viewed as a crusader for good up until this point?

There's the difference between some random 19yr old kid hidding behind a nickname, and someone who is real and known.
Yes, my name is important to me. Because i'm a real person. What does dev has to worry about? That we tweet him?
And no one will ever accuse me of the things dev accuses me from!

Grow up, look at facts, and dont follow the group driven by greed. Dare to be sceptical kid.

U are sodomite. I don't allow u to talk here. Nothing to read and justify. Can someone ban this fucking bitspender forever from this thread and lock his account? He is scapegoat. This kind of persons were spawned to become slaves and patsy, he would rather sell his anus than stop posting. Stupid pointless creature born to cater and crouch. How can i get this dejecta from this thread or crack his degenerate head?

Now c'mon, you don't need that kind of talk to say what you mean.  Let's try to be civil.  People need to understand that when you have outbursts like this, it only reflects poorly on yourself, and a lot of the time, has the opposite effect on the person it was meant to belittle.

You should take the time to read all the words I wrote cause I think you missed my point brother.  Even if the dev came out and said, hey everyone, Bitspender is who he says he is, I think most of us would remain skeptical, given your past behavior.  At this point I really don't think his word alone is going to make a damn bit of difference to your reputation.

Now...you can take my words as hostile, if you wish, but I am honestly just trying to give you some good advice.  Act like an adult and prove to the rest of us that you are capable.  Trust can be lost in a second, but it takes time to gain.

And as for me daring to be skeptical, thank you, that made me smile. I'm probably one of the biggest skeptics on this thread.  So far, I think I have four theories as to who is running the show.  Maybe the dev is the scammer.  Who knows? Maybe you and the dev planned the whole thing?  Maybe I am in on it?  Maybe we're all puppets?  Who fucking knows.  It's all just one big sleight of hand trick anyway.  But that's why it is so fun and that's why it is so addicting.

In the end, I think your reputation will be just fine.  But if you truly are interested in fixing it, PM me,  I've done PR work for much worse cases.

I suggest that Unattainium dev and bitspender to go take a beer together and solve there problem together and privately, fighting each other like this is to helping the coin. If everyone put water in his wine instead of attacking each other, it could solve everything. Bittrex added us today and it should be a great day.

Wether dev likes it or not, 85% of all UNAT holders are here because of me.
90% of the bigger investors at bittrex are not touching UNAT until dev clears my name, and steps out of the shadows, like i did.

Dev created this coin, i made it. I'm still offering out my hands for UNAT, but dev needs to drop the attitude and give me a phone call to settle things.

You say, "Whether the dev likes it or not."  Yes, maybe this coin wouldn't be what it is today without you and your awesome hashing power, but at the same time you are sucking the fun out of it for everyone else. I wouldn't call you a fraud or a scammer, maybe just a good ol' cyberbully.  The problem is that when you have enough power to directly affect the markets, you are going to be under the microscope. How about you ask the rest of the community, for a change, how we feel, instead of speaking as if we are all behind you.  Maybe it's the community that you have something to prove to.  Maybe you should prove to us that you can be trusted, not by sending us all your pictures, ID's, DNA, or whatever, but by behaving like an adult for once.

My advice to you, would be for you to use some of your 3000 bitcoins and take a vacation.  Smoke a joint.  Have some sex.  Whatever floats your boat.  You will feel much better after, I promise.

Hey just get this fucking bitspender out from this thread. He is sodomite. Delete his posts. If he tries to sell something in IRC i consider this as behavior with fraudulent intent and report him to moderator. This fucking cretin spending here too much time. I think, he might go.

He's being auto kicked from IRC now, and I've been banning all the IPs I can relate to him

I've been more than fair not deleting anyones posts in here, but you are right, he is getting close to the limit at this point

I like that you haven't deleted their posts.  People need to be able to make informed decisions before purchasing phantom hardware from a fraudulent crypto retailer.  One only needs to look at their posts to see the kind of game they are playing.  Right now cryptoland is like the wild west.  Mostly lawless with virtually no cops.  These guys are what you call cyberthugs and cyberbullies.  In the real world they would be facing charges.

^^^Case in point.  Everybody ask themselves this...Why would a couple of the coins most dedicated followers and largest shareholders go from loving it to hating it so fast when nothing about the coin has changed?  My guess is that the bills came in and they're looking for money to pay their debts.

Disclaimer: According to Soul_eater, I am a moron. So take what I say with a grain of salt.  I just want everyone to read the thread and make their own decisions instead of being told what to think.

If people wanted to pay bills they would want the price higher so your point makes no sense.  Thanks for confirming everyone's suspicions.  You are a moron.  Keep giving the dev BJs if you love him so much it's not going to help anyone.

I would like to add the fact that you completely missed my point.  Yes the price would go up.  And yes, who wouldn't want the price higher, especially the ones that hold the majority shares.  <<--That is my point, what do you not understand?  The dev is not interested in artificially raising the price to accommodate a few looking to make some money.  He is in it for the long haul.

You can't increase difficulty if you want 8 second blocks lol you guys have no clue...

Coin seems good to me with a surprisingly low orphan rate. Saw 0.05% on hardcore miners. That's pretty impressive for 8 second blocks. DIEM was way higher than that

Dead coin? Next.

Devalued because of the dump, yes.  Dead coin, not by a long shot.  The coins' price was artificially high due to a few hoarders anyway, and now we are seeing the market equalize itself. My advice would be to buy up the cheap coins and hold on to the ones you've earned.  I would not take the advice of Pole_beater or Titspender, both have shown their true colors in the last day.  There are plenty of members of this community that have faith in the coin and will continue to mine, in spite of a few bad apples. I can't predict the future, and maybe I'm wrong, but I am not going anywhere.

What a moron you are.  There are people like you who will defend the dev to your own death while he is happily dumping shit in your face.  Enjoy your UNAT.

Maybe I am. Maybe I'm just a fucking retard.  I admit, I am new to the game, and there is still a lot for me to learn.  I'm not in it to get rich(at least not yet) and it's more fun than anything right now, on a psychological level, to observe and learn from your actions.  You and bitspenders aggressive behavior reveals a lot about your personality(ies). You could be the same person as far as I'm concerned.

I try to learn something new from every situation, and my take from this is that I need to be more cautious around people like you.  Irrational behavior is your strongest trait.  It seems that you are trying to present yourselves as the good guys, when, in fact, you are the opposite.  Now you belittle the dev in order to gain credibility so that you can move to the next coin with your faithful minions, just so you can play the same game again.  Rinse and repeat.

He's just FUD today to buy back in lower from his dump yesterday. I'm guessing he has multiple socks in here, too

No reason to delete these posts, I appreciate the trolls giving us free thread bumps  Smiley

I am with the dev on this one.  Bitspender is not going anywhere.  He was the one that brought up the fact that the coin is going for 3x profit.  Let me ask you this...Who in there right mind would walk away from that(at least until price comes down).

If he does truuly want out, grab your toilet paper cause he's about to shit all over us.

Well, that just proves you dont know me.

I'm not going to shit on anyone. I invested 28BTC to get those coins, and i hold them.
Dev seems to forget that all investors are backing me, and following and watching my every more.

Now i got his coin moving, he gets attitude and says "then find another coin"  Huh
Well, you choose the wrong guy here. No need to get attitudes against me.

I hear what investors say, i listen to what their worries are, not you dev. You just sit there and say "wait and see" without moving things for your own coin.

Without me or DoubleDD, this coin was still... whatever it was.

I invested in THE HARDEST COIN TO MINE EVER and now it turns out as a P/D coin like all others. Great. Have fun.

^^^^^This is what you call a market manipulator.  He who holds the power(hashrate) can manipulate the market as he see fit.  And yes, in my previous post I stated that I don't know you. I do know that yesterday you were telling us how awesome this dev is, and today he is an idiot.  You my friend are an irrational person.  I hope you dump cause this community doesn't need a shareholder like you.

PoS seems a good idea, since we already got forced to change the 'Hardest coin to mine, ever'.
Right now this coin is a goldmine for miners who keep mining and dumping. Miners get 3x the normal profit with UNAT against BTC.
UNAT was never created for that purpose.

Diff needs to go up way higher, or PoS should be considered.
If we do nothing, this coin will be mined and dumped until it's dead, while UNAT has so much more to offer than just that.

My apologies for calling you out like this, but, since you do obviously control a lot of this coin, I think it needs to be public discussion.

I agree that the above statement is very short sighted.  It seems to me that at this point, POS would benefit you greatly.  It would solidify you as the top coin holder and could potentially give you a very nice profit.  Call me MIAOMIAO(crazy), but I have been watching both pools and exchanges since we were stuck at ungodly difficulties in late July.  Anyone watching the hashrates will know that you are sitting on a pretty pile of UNAT.  I also believe that at some point you realized how this looks and split up your accounts into several, lower hashrate, 'anonymous' accounts to make it seem more spread out.

I think it's funny that you mentioned miners getting 3x normal profit.  I'm assuming you are talking mostly about c-cex.  I admit to being one of those people.  Here is my reason...I see the UNAT king sitting at the top of the mountain with all his coins and it makes me nervous.  I do not believe your intent is to sit on all these coins.  I also see what I believe to be the king spreading out his coin on sells with very close prices.  One upping the lowest seller.   This shows me a low confidence in the coin by one of its top shareholders, which also makes me nervous.

Finally, I know nothing about you, whether or not you have your own farm, or if it's strictly rental, but this coin needs to stay POW for a long time in order to make sure these types of wrinkles to get ironed out.  This coin has a long way to go.  It will fluctuate.  Maybe the popularity keeps growing, causing the hashrate to go higher, making the coin harder to mine, thus justifying the 3x rate you mentioned.  Or maybe the coins value comes down a little, making the price for mining it equal to or less than BTC.  Either way, I believe we need POW in the long run in order to even out the irrational behavior of a few humans itching to make a profit.

Maybe it's none of my business, or maybe I'm just a jealous miner with an inferior hashrate complex, but my question is...What are your long term plans for UNAT?  How will you contribute to the value of this coin?

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GoldReserve][XGR]X11 Unique Stabilizer Fund, BACKED BY GOLD NOW! on: August 06, 2014, 09:28:37 PM
First of all, let me just say, I love this coin, this dev, and this community.  We are less than a day till the end of POW!!!  My only regret is that I didn't get in sooner.

The coin belongs to Mesterlovesz, he can take it down whichever path he chooses, and because I have faith in him, I will follow.  Some of the traits that I find most endearing to him are his patience, a long term outlook(not a get rich quick plan), and an openness to suggestions and ideas.  That being said, it's time start thinking about the future.  My suggestions here are merely suggestions/ideas to try to get the community involved and thinking.  No more, no less.

Value to me is not the monetary value of a item, but rather, ones feelings and attitude toward that item.  I also believe when my definition of value is satisfied, it will inevitably lead to a higher monetary value.  From my observations there are three things a coin needs to give it value post POW...trust, community, and trust in the community(yes, it sounds redundant, and there's a lot more involved than that, but without getting into micro/macro economics I will use these general ideas to keep it simple).  As I said, I have trust in Mesterlovesz, he is the leader of the community, and none of the suggestions are meant to undermine him or his efforts in any way.

Which leads me to the following list.  I apologize in advance if some of the items have been suggested already, or if they don't/won't/can't apply to this coin, or, if they flat out just don't make any sense at all.  It is merely a list of free flowing thoughts...

Let's start with trust/faith, it is the same thing an economy(or any relationship) needs to be successful, without it, you have nothing.  Cryptocurrency is no different.  One of the things I've noted in the past with all coins as being a concern, is having a single person with all the control.  I am personally okay with this for now, but will eventually create uncertainty and doubt.  One possibility could be to setup a board of trustees.  Maybe the top 5 or 10 shareholders, where the gold cannot be withdrawn without consent of a certain percentage of the board.  I don't have an MBA and I'm not a lawyer so I don't know exactly how this would work, I do know for a fact that it can be done.

On the other side of the withdrawal process, we have the deposit.  Transparency is key here.  Currently XGR has donation accounts for BTC and XGR as well as a Startjoin account to send your funds to.  One idea might be to add links on the goldreserve website that will open a page which shows you a simple rundown of the history of all transactions to/from these accounts as well as the current size of the XGR wallet/funds(from the premine and donations) that will be used to buy future gold.  It would also be great if there was a way to skip the donation account transfers completely, and purchase gold for the fund directly through some kind of money/wire transfer.

Let's talk about community now.  Admittedly, I am new to the game.  I am still trying to wrap my head around the concepts of exchanges, voting lists, social media campaigns, etc.,.  From my observations, as far as the exchanges are concerned, it seems like it's the devs/communities that push hard to get their coin listed early that fail, or turn out to be scams.  I do use a few different exchanges, but, contrary to my optimistic outlook on life, my gut tells me, every time I sign on to an exchange, that they are trying to rip me off somehow, or manipulate currency to their benefit. I believe in the slow road, not forcing the issue, with time the exchanges will come and they will have a more rational view of XGR, it does not take a rocket surgeon to know that irrational behavior will lead to doubt and uncertainty.  As far as voting lists go, I don't place too much importance there.  I don't think it hurts to vote for XGR, publicity is publicity, but I also don't think that it is going to add any substantial value to XGR in the long run and could possibly lead to more irrational thinking and behavior in the short term.  Lastly, we have social media.  We all know and have seen the power of social media.  Facebook, Twitter, etc., is the number 1 way to create interest in XGR.  To have a community willing to campaign for XGR and spread the word of what XGR is, and why it is so great, will lead to higher interest, which will inevitably lead to higher value.

Finally, trust in the community.  Trust in the community is trust in the community to listen, be rational, be open, be active, and to make wise decisions .  My hope is to stimulate the brains of those whom actually know more about how all this works(as opposed to my incoherent ramblings) and to create an atmosphere where you are not afraid to throw out your ideas, no matter how crazy they may sound.

Well for starters, any other release regarding MYST will have the option to trade your MYST into the newest chain, for equal dollar value to ensure you are always on the newest project

^^^The reason why I will hold on to this coin. The coin itself was solid, minus the intentional flaw. And the dev seemed like he knew what he was doing. Maybe someday he will release a version 2 and give our old coins value.

Why take charity at 8%? Why not just do an 8% premine and call it what it is. Same amount either way. Not as misleading though.
