101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies & tips from professional players on: February 10, 2021, 11:38:49 PM
Hi everybody,

Many people think that casino play is purely based on luck. It isn’t entirely.
While there is an element of luck to playing at a casino, there is also a large amount of skill involved. The elements that the player has in their own control can be manipulated in a number of ways to make a game more or, in some cases, less likely to go your way.

There are a lot of different strategies for playing poker, dice, baccarat, roulette, etc. You can also find useful tips and tricks from professional players.

How about you, is it important for you to learn, or do you have your own strategies and techniques?

Thanks,
Karl from Bitcasino

If the game has a negative expectation value, and If you can't physically manipulate a slot, roulette or baccarat, count cards, etc., you will always be behind. No 'techniques' or tips could help you overcome the negative expectation.

This is the reason for me to stick to sports betting and poker. The only slots I'm playing are some penny slots, rarely and only for fun.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: FreeWallet locked even Elon Musk. I still don't trust them. on: February 10, 2021, 11:01:29 PM
You are right not to trust them and any other service that doesn't provide you with the private keys.

This is worst than exchanges. At least in the exchanges you are depositing to trade, not to store coins!
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will ETH be worth ten years from now? on: February 07, 2021, 11:01:07 PM
Nobody knows. I hope that it still be in the Top 10.

But what I do know is if ETH Devs doesn't come up with some solution to the giant fees, over time, DeFi & Tokens will shift to cheaper and faster chains like Tron and Solana and Ether will die.
104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My 1 month testing trade result $500 profit on: February 07, 2021, 10:43:16 PM
Excellent results if you are trading BTC/USDT only! This particular pair is too wild for me and I'm trading altcoins.

What strategy are you using to guess the price direction? Or you are using another approach, maybe?
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be surprise to see price of btc drop this week on: February 07, 2021, 10:30:27 PM
Bitcoin moved precisely the opposite. These graphs are the perfect example of why I don't believe in technical analysis for crypto, and I follow mainly my gut.

Trade cautiously and HODL most of your coins!

.7028 btc fee to send .2191 btc

Now imagine that you have to pay ".7028 BTC fee to send 2222.2191 BTC". Then you will not complain, right?

Fees are high now, nobody denies it. But Bitcoin is not to send $10. If you want to spend $10, use Tron, USDN, USDT/TRC-20, or one of the many faster and cheaper chains.
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️🎲 PENTA88 - New bookmaker on BetInAsia ⚽️🎲 on: February 06, 2021, 11:45:01 PM
This is just a Betting Broker and for those who dont know on what it is;

A betting broker (aka bet agent or betting brokerage service) is simply a third party that acts as an intermediary between you and a bookmaker or betting exchange.
Source
Why would people use a betting broker if it's quite easy to choose a betting website, register and play there directly? If it's about some special offers, websites like Sportsbet.io offer them regularly anyway, and so do other major casinos. And it's truly harsh for an intermediary to impose the KYC procedure for everyone even though many websites have mild KYC policies and don't ask for KYC unless something seems suspicious or involves big sums of money...
And the name (Betinasia) is not very good because it's clearly focused on one region, and this can discourage people from other regions to bet there.
And op, I share sunsilk's concerns that these minimum withdrawal and deposit sums are way too high.

If you are a high roller, in most cases, you are limited to brokers as only brokers could provide you with good lines combined with higher limits. Plus most Asian bookies are for Asian clients only.

OP, what I want to clarify is your withdrawal Bitcoin fee of 2%. How do you calculate it? Two percent of the current spot price or?
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC back to All time high ..did you buy ? on: February 06, 2021, 10:52:04 PM
After watching the slow price rise in the past ten days, I stopped buying around 36.3k and now even sold a little for a profit.

I expect the bounce back to $35k-$36k in a week or two and I plan to repeat the process.
109  Economy / Exchanges / Re: storing BTC at exchange wallet long term on: February 06, 2021, 10:16:32 PM
Everywhere I read tells me it is not a good idea to leave BTC long term at an exchange wallet.  However, the same people who say that recommend crypto interest earning accounts such as BlockFi or Celsious.  Doesn't make sense to me.  So I should not trust Coinbase or Gemini yet I can trust BlockFi or Celsius to keep my crypto safe?  What?Huh

It's SIMPLE:

Trusting BlockFi or Celsius is risk versus reward. You are getting XX% APY in return for your coins being there.

Keeping coins in exchange without staking is laziness and stupidity. Taking the whole risk without any reward.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: $60+ in fees for a single withdraw. Could exchanges survive this? on: February 05, 2021, 11:40:06 PM
I think people are getting smart now. They're exchanging into USDT or some other stablecoins and then moving it out for a few dollars, then exchanging back. They still lose on fees but it's faster and not as painful as $50 and still waiting for confirmations.

I think Layer 2 is also going to be more popular in future.

I'm doing such transfers because USDT TRC-20 withdrawals are free or very cheap. But there are still exchanges that support only ERC-20 and Omni Tether deposit/withdraws for some strange reasons. Example: Kraken & Bittrex.

I also think that Layer 2 will gain popularity and solve the problem with fees.

I am locking the topic now.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: February 05, 2021, 11:02:20 PM
Why stay away from crypto?

Cryptocurrencies are one of the few funny stuff left in these coronavirus lockdowns. I find day trading and watching the market much entertaining than Netflix. Especially after the Reddit events lately.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / $60+ in fees for a single withdraw. Could exchanges survive this? on: February 04, 2021, 10:25:57 PM
A few moments ago, I had a withdraw from one exchange to another.

I paid ~90c in fees. The sender (Exchange 1) paid ~$40 in fees and >400 gas. Then Exchange 2 (auto) moved the coins through a contract for another $20 in fees.

This transaction costs $60+ in fees.

While some of you may goat that exchanges deserve it, this is not sustainable for a long period. And in the end, the user is always paying the expenses.

For how long do you think exchanges could continue and survive this way before they start blocking or impose cosmic fees over ERC-20 withdraws?
113  Economy / Economics / Re: What if you had invested bitcoin instead of gamestonk? on: February 04, 2021, 10:09:50 PM
I think people were buying Gamestop not to make money but to prove to the big players that the ordinary man still has some power.

I skipped as I stick to crypto, yet these people succeeded in some way.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are you according to Glassnode classification? on: February 04, 2021, 08:20:39 PM
At this point, unfortunately, I'm Shrimp, and it looks like I will have to fight my way up Smiley

I guess 99% of the people around are Shrimps too. I was an Octopus three years ago, but those are long forgotten times.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faketoshi: back at it again with more false evidence on: February 03, 2021, 10:44:40 PM
For some reason, Faketoshi is seeking public attention. Maybe he has some mental issues or other problems.

The solution is to ignore it. Nobody believes him anyway.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the people or group of people will buy the btc top ? on: February 02, 2021, 11:28:44 PM
There is no "on the btc top". To have a sale, you must have a buyer. A buyer is a person who thinks that the price is fair.

For example, I bought on a few previous "on the top" as I thought it's worth the investment, the risk, and the money.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hit Record Number of 22.3 Million Active Wallets in January on: February 01, 2021, 11:58:16 PM
Thanks to Wallstreetbets, crypto is getting the attention of both mainstream media and retailer investors. I expect the number of active wallets to pass the 25 million in the next 30-45 days.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Grayscale Gray area btc Wild West on: February 01, 2021, 11:46:32 PM
Crypto was (is) always in the Wild West zone. Isn't it the reason why we all love it?

I don't know any other asset that opens so many possibilities for earn and growth. Now banks are giving 0% or even have negative interest rates, while crypto allows us to earn triple-digit APY.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: January 31, 2021, 11:58:41 PM
It is possible to see a price correction because the Bitcoin price jumped too quickly in the past 60 days. The global crypto market has a much better foundation than 2018, so even if there is a price correction, the long-term perspectives are excellent.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's nothing special about BTC, you will make MUCH more $ in the stock market on: January 31, 2021, 11:53:08 PM
Bitcoin has topped out and has started going down. This bitcoin bear market might last for a very long time and will probably never go higher than the last ath.

Why be stuck with dead funds in Bitcoin, when you can make a fortune in the stock market buying stocks like Gamestop.

There are other, yet to be discovered 100x stocks ready to moon out there, don't be stuck in this sorry btc mess.

I read the same FUD in 2018, and yet today, the price is 65% up the previous ATH.

Bitcoin has much better APY than any other asses in the past 10 years. Period.

If you don't like it, just pass.
