2500 blocks to go, 3Gh/s mining power and a very promising day on the market! Can we finally break out of that 30 bits range, where in the last 50 days over 1 million units have been traded?   Shocked

It looks like the days of halving giving coins a higher price is over. Litecoin price has gone down but maybe EFL will be different because the price is very low already and we got our secret weapon to help push it up. Smiley
I won't sell below 6500.

Only 20 blocks to go.... http://www.guldencointrader.nl/

Put some buy orders just above 300 , strong dump signal from traders that made a small profit on the recent rally. After that the price will go much higher.

How much can I pay you to give me your price trends. You never wrong!

LTC dying after halving. NLG is next:(

I can help it drop to 100 sat or help it grow Wink
Just say please :p

I am so happy to see PsychoticBoy here. This guy could dump EFL under 50 sat or pump it to 20k sat but he is dutch and it's good to have him behind a coin that can bring lots of respect to the Dutch nation.

There will be a dump after the reward change. People have sent coins to bittrex over the last couple days. Trade carefully and put low buy orders.

A lot of scrypt multipools will close shop with all the coins moving off scrypt.

Or they expect higher rates after block 250k and place orders in higher regions up to trade Wink We'll see.

Ontopic please!

Everyone chooses there own destiny, if they bring more Dutch people to crypto they will invest in guldencoin for sure because they will see the difference. EFL main problem is that 3 people own 90% of the coins so this is why the services don't grow because it is up to those 3 people to make it happen. The main investors is Psychoticboy, Niels and Kenny from litebit/litepaid which is why he keeps EFL on litebit/litepaid.

Ok back Ontopic!

http://guldencoinweb.nl/countdown.php

Less than 1k blocks to go!

Will do some remath tonight on the countdown.

Because drop in hashrate means less blocks solved per day. Think we will end somewhere in a day of three... (1000 blocks to go with solve rate of 300/day)

You could effectively say the change has already taken place. Just 870 000(3.4 btc at 400) coins to come and more then enough buy support that it won't cause a upset in the market. The rate of coins coming per month has been around 10 million , going forward there will be 10 million coins every 8-10 months. This is more then enough coins to supply a growing user network when you consider bitcoin will only ever have 21 million coins in total.

At these prices 4 btc worth of new coins coming on monthly instead of 40 btc after the change? Would the team be willing to increase the rate again when this takes off because it might not be enough supply to satisfy the Dutch economy?

Not until each coin is worth 45 Euro cent and every Dutch person knows why.  Tongue Long way to go before this happen but I feel more and more confident that we going to reach this goal for the Guilder again.

Lol the dump should of happened already unless it's been left until tomorrow.

Read Buerra's last post about what caused the volume recently.

Litecoin dumped before halving and so will guldencoin.  Every coin dumps before the release or change. This is how things work in crypto why would it be any different with guldencoin.

I remember the team saying they wanted a stable price of 400 like it was just before DELTA so users can spend coins without effecting price. We got off very lightly on this pump which is over . I seen coins go up 1000% and dump to much lower lows. Paycoin is good example.

A lot of thanks to Biomike who protected new users from buying too high.

Good to see the pump was a small one which again shows this coin has a good value representation and stable.

The sell wall by my stabilization software absorbed most of the buying power and prevented the price to jump too high.

Thank you, I was planning to buy more coins tomorrow and the lower the better!

Prices always go down over the weekend, I am waiting patiently for Sunday.  Grin

Fuck ,I should of got a loan to buy more coins. Litebit is dried up and guldenbuy still down. At least the price can't go up further.

The above from oldmankid sums up what will happen to EFL if price goes very high.

EFL block times are 2 minutes ave and not 1 minute but still valid argument.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] Guldencoin.com — D E L T A on: August 26, 2015, 10:48:52 AM

I don't think they have much of a choice given that ltc has halved and profits are going to be down a lot. I don't know if the developers included the litecoin halving as another reason for guldencoins drop in rewards or if it was just luck but thank god it's being done. Scrypt coins are getting smashed in the last 8 hours with block times and more coins will join others to move off the algorithm.

You are right, even EFL stuck on over 8hr block time and this with a price of 2500. They going to experience the problems the dev team here battle with for ages. Well done for DELTA!

It's a bold move their part. The total will still be the same 1.68 billion but it allows later adopters to get in instead of a few early people holding all the coins . This is the problem with PoS the holders have all the power.

You can look at it several ways, but bold would not be our word to choose.
You have to compare the situation before and after the protocol change and look at it from a long term perspective, say 20 years. Compare what was said (promised) with what they do to judge the current actors. In this very early stage you might still get away with switching the protocol parameters.  Changing the Bitcoin blocksizelimit sounds trivial if you compare it with changing the reward scheme. Doing that you are certain that at least half of the bitcoin community would vote against your decision. Off course stakeholdes will have less problems with decisions that reduce longterm inflation. Why don't they stop production alltogether and make it PoS indeed.

The e-Gulden foundation will stick with their setup instead. Just read our code, our charter and witness the evolvement of our blockchain (EDIT: Which is in fact all yours)

It look like EFLs problems just starting , last block 8hrs after litecoin halving. Now bitwise-shifted can see his ave blocks not going to be 2min as he was very proud to boast about. Welcome to the club of Multi pool abuse my friends. Only way to combat is more dedicated hash or lower price.

Nice prices and nice volume  Smiley Hope somepony will dump to 298 Cool

I hope so too, I think bargain prices over the weekend , I am just waiting for Sat/Sun to buy in again but if that 350 sell wall doesn't hold our dream of sub 300 price again might be over. Sad
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] Guldencoin.com — D E L T A on: August 25, 2015, 08:33:38 PM
why this coin not bribe to get on other exchange like other coins do . cryptsy bribe isn't big to get on.

My brother tells me most of the Pump and dump coin creators know the exchange owners and can easily get listed. This is why I like bittrex it gives all coins a chance and not just ones where pump and dump grps are in bed with exchanges.
