161  Economy / Economics / Re: US Economy finally rebounds in the right direction. on: December 26, 2020, 06:16:50 PM

I don’t even have to say it but it’s been a horrible year for the US economy, but as we finally bid this year a goodbye it seems that the US economy is finally starting to rebound in the right direction. Furthermore where businesses are allowed to remain open those states are recording low number of unemployed people, which shows that a recovery in the short term is quiet possible don’t you’ll think so?.

Do not forget that Biden is coming in the office on 20th Jan.
He's much more pro-lockdown and could close the country again. This will sink the economy again. And as much as people don't like Trump, he's a better economist.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: rotchilds funds invest in bitcoin why?? on: December 26, 2020, 05:59:51 PM
Rothchild bankers are not investing in Bitcoin. They are speculating on Bitcoin's price trading futures and that's something very different.
If they smell the money in it, why not?
163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Type/Kind of Trading Style is the Best and why on: December 25, 2020, 10:52:17 PM
In recent times I have understand that most beginner traders don't know the kind of trader they're. Either
1. Scalper
2. Day trader
3. Swing Trader
4. Position Trader.

Which of these trading methods/style is the best (that you use), and you can recommend and why.

It's up to you and what suit you best, your temperament, control, etc. This is 10000% individual.

What I found is best for me is Scalper on big news and clear trends and Swing Trades. What doesn't work is Day trader.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Binance Withdrawals with Fastest Confirmation and Lowest Fee $$$$$ on: December 25, 2020, 09:47:01 PM
Your list and calculations are okay only for small amounts and transfers.

Let me show you with 1BTC.

Direct withdraw: 1BTC with 0.001 fees is equals to nearly $24.3.

BTC to Alt to BTC with low withdrawal fee: 0.1% trading fee + let's say 10c fee +  0.1% trading fee equals to $50 in fees plus the risk of different rates BTC <> Alt.

165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: "The next 100x-1000x coin?" bitcointalk thread ----> 3 years after! on: December 25, 2020, 06:35:34 PM
...

Here the answer to the topic question the next 100x-1000x coin?
No, no one has predicted a coin with a such high pump. The maximum has been 56x.
Other coins suggested in a different timeframe have realized both negative and profit results !
CAN YOU GUESS WHAT COIN?

64,5% of total predictions realized a negative profit or literally dump to 0.
13,1% of total predictions realized a positive profit.

How did you interpretate this data?

Interesting data. Do you have the data what will be the results if you blindly invest an equal amount in every coin and wait 6 or 12 months? I bet it will be positive with 13,1% coins on profit and max 56x.

Most coins die anyway. Some fail because of poor management, others are scams and so on.

Just a few survive and thrive as it's in the real-life business: https://www.investopedia.com/articles/personal-finance/040915/how-many-startups-fail-and-why.asp
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time For Alt Coins.. on: December 24, 2020, 10:18:48 PM
Once the bitcoin reaches 70% dominance, I think its a right time to invest in alt coins. Most of the alt coins are at bottom price now. I feel it's a great opportunity to invest in alt coins..

Are we Going to see Bull Run in Q1 2021? Is it a right time to invest in Alt Coins? What is your opinion on this?

I had the same thoughts at 60%, at 65%, etc.

Then I found that there isn't a good or bad time to invest in alts based on Bitcoin dominance. There are just good and bad projects. So choose a project you believe in and give your coins there.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is DEAD?! Ripple XRP DUMPING?! Buy the dip? Price Prediction! on: December 24, 2020, 08:59:29 PM
Love the "Buying XRP now is a ticket for the Titanic" part Cheesy

Seems we will all follow the trend and dump Ripple which will lead to even lower prices. I'm on the same train now.
168  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Best Crypto Trading Strategies on: December 24, 2020, 08:30:16 PM
It's good that the platform supports Crypto Copy Trading. This is the easiest option when you don't have the time or knowledge of less popular coins.

Do you know any good traders with longer history (6+ months) that we can copy profitable?
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Trading Page Problem, Error on: December 23, 2020, 11:04:38 PM

3) Open a new Incognito window and try then
4) Try a different browser and/or internet (mobile or friend's tethering)

170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: December 23, 2020, 10:17:14 PM
Peoples fine it difficult to understand what is cryptoccurrency most especially bitcoin, but their interested over cryptoccurrency.
I just suggest that their should be a TEXT BOOK that will discuss about cryptoccurrency in order to educate people who are interested because referring them to online shows that know Manuel evidence of cryptoccurrency. And if their is any article that guide bitcoin.

It's difficult for many non-tech people, but it's not only Bitcoin. AI, self-driving cars and many more topics are also difficult, yet people are accepting all of it.

People tend to accept every tech that brings benefits without the need to understanding it. We shall start showing the benefits, not trying to force people to understand the tech side.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Graph Protocol - APIs for a vibrant decentralized future on: December 22, 2020, 10:53:50 PM
Check Staking guides how to delegate your GRT https://twitter.com/graphprotocol/status/1341106516099657728 and here is Medium https://stakingfac.medium.com/the-graph-staking-guide-5ec1455f4783

Start earning more GRT  Smiley

Thanks, the Medium article is very useful.

I didn't know there is a 0.5% fee on the delegating amount, but I will delegate my tokens anyway. What APY could we expect from the Graph?

Hey,

I am thinking of switching from BTC trading to Alt trading. Consider me as a beginner.

If anyone can help me in these things:

1. Best exchange to join
2. Best altcoin to invest in

Thank you!

About exchanges, if you want max stability and security, you can't go wrong with Binance. But if you want more arbitrage options and trades, both Bibox and Coinbene are fine.

About alt, The Graph, Gaimin and POS coins are my current winners.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Best Wine Application in Crypto (4.4 in ICOBench) on: December 22, 2020, 09:25:01 PM
This project has a future.

The blockchain-based ownership certifications are cool and are a good solution again fake wines. Dev's could easily extend it to the whiskey market which shares common issues.

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP Price in 2021 on: December 22, 2020, 08:49:53 PM
Ripple XRP is one of the world’s major cryptocurrencies and one of the most intriguing.Ripple’s goals for XRP are quite different from what Bitcoin is aiming to achieve. Both provide users of the cryptocurrency a way to control their own assets, however, Ripple was designed for speed and to achieve some of the lowest fees of any crypto asset.

These attributes make it extremely attractive for banks – Ripple’s main target customer – to move large amounts of money quickly, at a very low cost.

Ripple (XRP) has a pretty eventful year. A lot of developments have been done by the company in terms of bringing the project into the limelight. As a result, Ripple price prediction may just hit bullish by 2021.

I wouldn't say that Ripple is an intriguing coin. It's a corporate coin almost as far to the crypto world as fiat is.

The standard price predictions are irrelevant. Ripple price will raise if it gains new corporate players, and will fall if it doesn't expand its reach.

Is his account got hacked again? I thought he was a believer...

He is also known to be trolling people but I can't decide if he was trolling earlier or now?  Grin Maybe both!

If we count the DOGE tweet earlier, I think he's trolling for the fun.

Or he's acting as the Christmas Naughty Elf, bs-ing Bitcoin and praising dogecoin.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO 2.0 is too weak? on: December 21, 2020, 10:27:29 PM
Unfortunately, NEO failed to gain mass adoption.

The main reason is, as you said, the enormous fees compared to Ether and other smart contract chains.

I think we will witness an even greater decline in NEO usage in 2021.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin will be your favorite this season? on: December 21, 2020, 09:42:49 PM
My current favorite is The Graph (GRT).

https://thegraph.com/
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5291941.0

While the ANN is silent, they made a very successful launch with a real product. And what is more important - The Graph is not yet another DeFi stake project.

I bought under 20c, today is close to 60c after a little fall.

---

Another decent (non-DeFi staking copycat) is Gaimin from my sig. I'm curious to see will Gaimin gain adoption.

178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you going to buy into these high rising defi coins now? on: December 21, 2020, 09:12:35 PM
Did you notice any good DeFi projects in the past month?  I want to increase my 'passive' earnings.

Most are copycats and I will not give my money there.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: COCOS coin on: December 21, 2020, 08:02:44 PM
Could you explain to us why should we artificially pump COCOS with our money?

There is some volume over the COCOS blockchain (7m transactions) but nothing serious. Additionally, they have a 'hacker' problem now (https://twitter.com/CocosBCX/status/1339214232731041793)
180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Think twice before pressing send. on: December 20, 2020, 10:31:37 PM
Unfortunate, but you must be careful with all financial instruments, not only Bitcoin. Few of my fiat bank apps are the same - sending money with one click. And while there could be a chance to get that fiat money back, I can assure you it won't be easy.
