You make a good point, but in general people already use the word 'gulden' when talking about this coin. There is always an official name and whatever the people call it. If you look at the projects around Guldencoin you'll see that most of it is based on the same method. Guldenpay, Guldenbuy, Guldenwallet, Paysafegulden, just to name a few. It is consistent and doesn't need a name change.

And because it's a combination of Dutch and English it is not limited to just NL, it can be used elsewhere too fairly easily.

I remembered this post about a year back when the whole comparison between NLG and EFL was taking place, was Guldencoin really the first countrycoin idea? Food for thought!

It looks to me the criptoe team is out to cause a lot of trouble. There posts remind me of professional con artists by causing uncertainty to bring the price down. That fuse fella claims he is going to delete coins. He must think we all Apes with a IQ of 80.

The leadership of Guldencoin has been exemplary, since you are running AUR it must of dawned on you by now that running a successful project is not a easy feat and would surely take a united community to do this? Your actions are not uniting the community even if you truly believe your intentions are good.
It would be interesting to see the power you would have when your actions and feedback is done in a more positive and constructive demeanor, you might find you will have more ears that stand to attention and take note.

So yesterday we had the second Guldencoin meetup ever. This time in Zeist at Café Bommel, one of our proud Guldencoin merchants. Me and Deaurin came in first, but others soon followed. My girlfriend decided last minute not to join us this time, but we had at least one lady present. Chromedome and his girlfriend, who works at Villa Ticca, were present.

Not everyone who said they would come showed up for whatever reasons, but we had a nice time nonetheless. We got to talking about merchants, what could be improved and the owners of Café Bommel shed some light on what could be improved, their thoughts and their ideas. Some cool stuff came up that at a later date will probably be revealed in a more elaborate explanation.

It also became very clear that we need to do a lot more meetups. Not just to catch up with each other in real life, but also to get more new people involved and in a one on one conversation. It is very cool to see how easy people catch on once you can explain and show them hands on how it all works. It also allowed recent member of our community Zutshi to share his fresh thoughts on NLG. Very productive and fun to hear different sides of the community's experience both on the forums and in the outdoorsy fashion we call real life.

From around 1:30 PM till about 5-6 PM GJ, Rijk, Deaurin, Patrick, Zutshi, Chromedome and myself spent that time drinking and laughing. Cookie and Sebass couldn't make it due to car trouble and were briefly stuck on Ameland as well. Chromedome's girlfriend left a little earlier, but it was cool of her to come!

LTEX was in the Ardennes with his family so couldn't make it, but we ate some snacks and drank some beers on his behalf. So thank you for that LTEX We spoke of KwartjeTerug and how we could make similar projects go live to get positive exposure and share the pre-mine in a more efficient manner like KwartjeTerug. A few cool ideas came up. As well as several different pre-mine jokes .

After we left Café Bommel we went out to get some food and ended up getting a table for 7 and enjoyed some more beer and tapas.

This proves how manipulated the other currencies are. Guldencoin you rock!

I Agree with you, but it will be hard to maintain it slowly if it goes up fast. NLG already reached 1500 satoshis, if it goes up again, I think it can beat the 1500 cap, but it will go down again afterwards.

The problem (or not... that depends on your point of view) is that NLG is easily pump-able (because is a great coin) to 3x or more of the current price, if a big group realize this, we gonna have a massive pump... I hope that doesnt affect the reliability of the coin itself.

Actually, he was pretty broken up about the whole situation and how a certain PND dev had cheated everyone of the Pandacoin followers. He spoke in great lengths about it and occasionally still does. You'd know this if you were hanging about on IRC

Please don't try and discredit IMO one of, if not the best developers to have come to crypto since Satoshi Nakamoto. No need to be a spoilt sport about it. Be thankful for all the good things he brought to the coin because without him PandaBank wouldn't have become what it is today. I wish him good luck on any venture he decides to pursue.

There hasn't really been much discussion of this yet, but it is early days and most the focus is for starters on the urgent block time issue - once that is out the way who knows what is next, it's definitely a possibility.
