I believe Seals have underutilized spot on Saturday tournament schedule around 3 pm ET.This spot can be easily fill with 10 chips 500 guarantee.
Reasons : a) help to increase traffic before peek hours , players with smaller bankrolls will have a chance to win decent amount chips.
b) minimal risk for seals ,the tourney should attract similar amount players as Sunday 20 chips 1000 gtd.
c) the time is acceptable for European players and US players.I think Seals have some players from Europe .
d)The 10 hips buyin is much smaller then the 100 chips buyin for the main event of the day so the tourneys will not cannibalize each other.
e)I think that it is important for the site healthy development to have smaller stakes tournaments with as large players field as possible .
I am not supporter overlays,I don't think they are sustainable in a long run, that why I propose guarantee what I think Seals players base can easily support .
I did not offer any coin to help cover Seals potential loses because I believe I gave you compelling reasons why Seals will benefit from this tourney and because

My guess less than two years. Three years max. We have 2 decimal places so $1000 is where we get 'normal'. $1350 or so would be like a site that uses EUR. Getting much beyond that something will be changed. |

site going to dry up with bitcoin over 300 usd? why not change the 1,000 chips per bitcoin that has been set in stone to 1000 chips for 100 dollars at equivalent bitcoin price? Ring games are fine with tables as low as .1 .2 but tourney schedule is going to take a major hit if not tweeked.
We can still easily drop ring games and tournament buy-ins by an order of magnitude when needed, and some adjustment is happening now. We have no plan to change the 1000 chip/BTC ratio any time soon, though some change will be needed when the rate goes well over $1000/BTC. The Half Hour Turbo is now a 5 chip entry with a 50 chip guarantee. The Monday PLO is now 75 entry 1000 guarantee. We still have a 1 chip entry game every hour. New 2 and 5 chip guarantees were added recently. |

Anyone else noticing cashouts have slowed down? I have one pending since last night...
Haven't cashed out in a while, but is one taking longer than 12 hours? The site has always maintained a 12 hour cash out processing time; however, if you submit right before FreeMoney's processing, you would have been spoiled by a quick cashout. I would wait 24 hours before worrying, or bothering e-mailing admin or PM'ing Freemoney. Looks like Coinbase was having an issue with newly created addresses. I re-initiated the cashout with an older address and it was processed quickly (under 2hrs). This doesn't seem to make sense to me. A problem with an address wouldn't delay a Seals cashout. The only thing we ever know about an address is whether it is actually a bitcoin address or not. If it was not an actual address it would tell you that at the time of the request and never become pending. In general canceling and remaking a cashout has no benefit and could cost you up to 12 more hours as you might happen to not have any cashout pending while payments are on their way out. |

If the site's clocks would by default not be updated for DST, I think that that's fine, I'm guessing the site is probably based in one of the countries that does not observe DST, but they should make an option available to users in their account profiles to adjust the time for DST so that people in countries that would observe it can have the correct time for them displayed. I would think it would certainly be better than to confuse people living in those countries, let alone risk possibly losing them to competitors that would by default adjust their clocks for DST.
The starting times shown are based on your system time. If you mean keep the tournaments actually starting at the same clock time in places that change their clocks that isn't possible without actually changing the schedule which would cause a similar problem for anyone not switching their clocks. Anyway, the hassle and confusion is totally worth it for the free time traveling adventures. |

This means that if you change your clocks all games will appear to start one hour early. Please plan accordingly.

Any deal or plan concerning a 5BTC on 10/31 hadn't reached me though I had put up a different special game on 10/31. I thought Cam was simply misannouncing the game I had just put up.
We may yet change it if he's still interested, I've PM'd him about what to do if so. Possibly it won't happen in time to change the game and we'll just leave this one as is and maybe make a plan for the near future.

Can you improve tournament structure...
IE: Why dont you start at 5/10? Why are blind levels @ 8 minutes instead of 10.
They are some other things in tournaments i'd like to see. Plus this will help the tourney grinders

Some games are shorter and some longer. The Grindabit (GaB) games and BIG BTC are some of the longest. Others labeled deep are equivalent to starting the blinds lower. Whichever games get the most interest we'll make more of the same type. |
