441  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Hashkings Lending,Deposit 1.25% INSURED, ALL PPT ACCOUNTS CLOSING ON 8/19 on: September 12, 2012, 09:35:48 PM
I'm confused, Hashking has said that smallest investors are getting paid first. But I only invested 7BTC and that 'came to fruition' on 8 September 2012. Is there a reason I have not received payment yet, and other people are getting 25BTC and 50BTC. Or have I understood the process incorrectly?
hashking, would you explain the situation here? I hope you are not cherry picking who to pay back and when.
I've got some bad news...
442  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Radeon 6870x2 DUAL GPU card (Five/Six Remaining) on: September 12, 2012, 09:33:06 PM
Without an idea of what you are looking for, I doubt you'll get many serious offers.  And of course the longer you wait, the lower the price you'll get will go.  At this point, GenTarkin's offer looks over the top. Not sure you'd be able to get $150 for these right now.  Only 2.5 months or less left to block reward halving.
They're worth closer to $350 than $150 on ebay  Wink
443  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: > > > Sky Deposits (1.25%pw) > > > on: September 12, 2012, 07:16:26 PM
Just to say, I've dealt with andy for mining contracts by email and on here and he's been very professional  Smiley
I'm also aware of his UK bank transfer dealings and may be cashing out some BTC through him if he's up for that in the future  Cheesy
444  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Dank Bank Deposits - low risk, dank soul guarantee - 1.5%-2.5% weekly on: September 12, 2012, 07:12:51 PM

These are truly brilliant.  Have you done any live gigs yet?  You should promote them here.  I can't believe you are dampening this kind of talent with drug use, it will be a terrible waste if you die young from drug abuse or in a car accident like so many talented young people have.

I just shared the links with some members of my spiritual group and they were as enthusiastic as I was!  I'll be home for a while in December, do you have a manager or someone I can talk to about maybe booking a gig in the Tampa-St.Pete-Clearwater area?  I do have to specify ahead of time the event will be drug and alcohol free and that includes the entertainment.
It's attention to detail like this that makes me fully appreciate your trolling  Smiley
445  Economy / Lending / Re: BitcoinMax Account For Sale (2048 BTC) on: September 12, 2012, 06:49:10 PM
I will give you 62 BTC for the debt.....contingent upon proof of ownership.
Out of curiosity - what makes you think this is worth that?

Hmmmm interesting, I had no idea PPCoin behaved this way...

Does this make mining like this counter-productive?

448  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1DkyBEKt5S2GDtv7aQw6rQepAvnsRyHoYM on: September 12, 2012, 12:48:59 AM
I actually got a payment today that was a straight shot (after a couple hundred hops) back to this address from the 150k withdrawal on August 31st.
A payment from where? Gox? SR?
449  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Going after Trendon Shavers, Pirateat40, BTCST on: September 11, 2012, 02:21:37 PM
Was reading through some of Pirate's old posts and he use to sell video cards. Maybe we can get in contact with a buyer and see if a return label was written on the packaging?

Someone already did. He confirmed that pirateat40 is the same guy as the one in the picture from vegas.
"Captain Jack sparrow" going to caught soon.
The question is, he already planned everything or just doing everything on the go.

He's probably already gone, he's had a whole month.
450  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Going after Trendon Shavers, Pirateat40, BTCST on: September 11, 2012, 12:10:27 PM
How about you do a big public apology first to all the people that warned you, but that you have been shouting down and insulting for over 6 months and more importantly,  to the people who trusted your judgement, but that you misled by pretending you knew more than you really did?

The same goes for the rest of the pirate promo team who are now all pretending to be only victims fighting for the righteous cause.

I've done a couple of PPCoin mining contracts over the past day or two, if anyone wants some serious mining horsepower pointed their way send me a PM.

452  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Going after Trendon Shavers, Pirateat40, BTCST on: September 11, 2012, 11:00:32 AM
the first step should be to file a complaint imo.  The sooner the better. Let them do their job.

I'm in Thailand and I do not have the money to hire a lawyer to file a complain on my behalf. We are doing this as a group and this is the way they wanted to do it.

I do agree that sooner is better and will pass that idea along. However many people stress that they want a lawyer who understands what is going on to talk to the FBI. I agree with this honestly.

However I think people who are involved in this can and should directly call the FBI or what not and then let BA know. Then we have something to work on.

The more people that make claims can only help us I would guess.

Thanks
There must be an appropriate lawyer in the Bitcoin community somewhere - get an announcement made and start a bounty so Bullshit&Trust investors can pay towards it.
453  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Going after Trendon Shavers, Pirateat40, BTCST on: September 11, 2012, 09:57:34 AM
1.5-3% per day isn't unusual for an online ponzi scheme (zeek managed to get to ~$600m and last over a year offering rates like that).
What interests me though is you saying he paid out more than he got in - what details do you have for that?
454  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Going after Trendon Shavers, Pirateat40, BTCST on: September 11, 2012, 09:37:45 AM
Many people come on here and yell ponzi but sadly they do not have proof and the evidence does not support this.
How exactly does the evidence not support that?
455  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: New strong pool or solominer 83.169.22.26 ??? on: September 11, 2012, 02:14:13 AM
Possible that Deepbit is redirecting some of its hashrate and the pool op is lining his pockets with unreported blocks? kinda explains why they've had bad luck recently

my thoughts too!

Implying Pools are fair 100% of the time.

shouldn't they?? guess they should.
Deepbit doesn't need to be fair when they have some people mining PPS with a 10% fee  Wink

How is Deepbit being unfair when people *CHOOSE* to mine PPS there?  Respect peoples choice to mine where they want for whatever reason they have.  If some poor schmuck doesn't understand how PPS works then explain it to them when they ask.

This whole thread has the purpose of stirring up distrust with no proof.  So either present your proof for your accusations or stop spreading FUD.
Sam
Don't get me wrong - I love deepbit. I make more off deepbit than I make off any other pool  Wink
456  Economy / Gambling / Re: BurtWs 10,000 BTC bet on Pirate on: September 11, 2012, 12:43:33 AM
BurtW being the shilliest shill that ever did shill, I very much doubt he actually made said 10k BTC deposit.
Hopefully he did though, that'd make me feel better about his ponzi-pimping in the newbies section  Roll Eyes
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please Send Some PPC on: September 10, 2012, 11:20:26 PM

I would like to see how this works.. If anyone is willing to send a few it would be appreciated.

I'll happily do PPC mining contracts for anyone interested  Wink Here's my most recent one: http://ppcpool.us.to/user.php?user=PHb9BwyLyzaCQqc3wWPey6oaGGFHzGnJby
458  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3700 Gh/s] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop,instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS on: September 10, 2012, 10:35:46 PM
I thought you found less shares with increased difficulty  NOT they were just worth less
Less blocks are found per MH/s or per given number of diff-1 shares when difficulty is high, but same number of shares per MH/s because difficulty is always 1 for shares.

See my edit below
Lovely. Was it really necessary to be such a tosser about this? It's a very easy system to understand.
459  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: September 10, 2012, 10:34:24 PM
Sign up with assholes like pirateat40? Are you mad?
Did you guys forget that he is a scammer and a lying sack of shit who just stole huge pile of BTC? Really? That fast? LOL!

He didn't steal anything. All those investing IDIOTS gave it to him, willingly. There's no proof that he is a scammer, or that he was lying, or that he was pretending to be different people, or that he has a dead man's switch, or that 'it shouldn't take longer than a week', or that he will begin payouts on monday, or that Trendon Shavers is simply a DBA name, or the amount of bitcoins he currently has, or that he was selling BTC locally and doing loans and market arb, or that his wife is a fake blonde, or that he has a legitimate business, or that he has legitimate partners that require 100% disclosure to his lenders upon payback of funds, or that he actually WILL pay back 100% of owed funds down to the hour with running interest, or that he has a BOT that checks his PMs for him on this forum so it may look like he is online but he really isn't, or that Don Shrents is a real person, or that he is actually a real pirate, or that he has 30,000 of his own personal bitcoins, or that GPUMAX was NOT used to launder money, or that he was never pointing GPUMAX hashing power to his own private pool in order to generate freshly minted coins for personal use/laundering, or that he never skimmed shares off the top of every GPUMAX miner even when they were only using GPUMAX for monitor and control their miners for 'free', or that he doesn't have 7 different sockpuppet accounts on this forum, or that 99% of all his OTC feedback prior to BTCST big money borrowing was left for sub-$100 Paypal/BTC transaction where he was actually nice.......OR....or...OR...or...
I know, right? What MORONS.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=50822.msg979801#msg979801
Ponzi, Sky is falling, tin-foil hats....FUCK ME.
Get a life.
It seems all the detractors simply forget that Pirate is the 8th most rated seller at Bitcoin-OTC lol

Morons...

You were a tool and made an idiotic "investment". GPUMax is still paying out and there's clearly a market in buying and selling shares (I'm still buying at 105%-110% and doing a bunch of contracts adding up to a few million shares right now).
460  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] Hashing power at 110% PPS on: September 10, 2012, 10:14:59 PM
Would you be up for renting out say, 10-20Gh/s to do a few hundred thousand shares as a test? I'd probably like to give this a go for load-testing  Smiley
