1281  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitCoin Remit Service on: August 05, 2017, 02:50:31 AM

Inshallah some will give a chance for a small risk to see how the service works and grow to trust the relationship.

Let me challenge you with the above statement: Would you give "a chance for a small risk" to see how the service works and, on the strength of faith alone, send the money to someone who promises to send the bitcoins later?

You will most certainly decline to take that risk.
1282  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitCoin Remit Service on: August 05, 2017, 02:47:02 AM
You are forgetting (or intentionally avoiding) the topic of ESCROW.

ESCROW is a must here. You cannot expect people to simply send you bitcoins upfront and hope you will fulfill your part of the transaction. Would you send the money upfront without the bitcoins? No, right? Put yourself in the shoes of the person holding these bitcoins. Would you send the bitcoins upfront to a stranger half way across the planet?

1283  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: LOTS OF STEALTH PAYPAL LOOKING FOR BTC on: August 04, 2017, 08:55:32 PM
This is an interesting twist to the PayPal saga.

What would be the status of those funds which have been sitting on those accounts beyond 180 days? Are they really and truly no longer allowed to be chargebacked? Or is there still a chance of the payment being revoked and cancelled by PayPal "for further review"? Or worse, the coin seller's account also being limited?

Being stealth accounts, the risk might not be on the funds (having passed the 180 days chargeback period) but probably PayPal's subjecting those account to an identity review.... and also extending that identity review and funds lock to the new receiver of funds.

Take this example of a complaint I found on and quote from another forum:

Paypal just closed my account even though I have had it for more than 10 years and in perfectly good standings. In the last couple of years my business has grown and gradually my transactions grew larger. In the last 3 months I have made several transactions over $25,000 through without any problems. Last Friday I go to use my Paypal debit card to pump gas and it is declined. This never happened before, I paid with my regular debit card. When I got to the office I logged on to Paypal only to find out my account was permanently limited and they had sent me a part ways email saying they no longer wanted me to use their services.
When I contacted them, they could not offer me any reason or explanation other than that what they have decided.

Anything can happen.

Is there anything else I need to do apart from being accepted here? Do I have to let ChipMixer know I added their signature? Or is being added here the only procedure?

1285  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: August 04, 2017, 04:58:59 AM
Guys, stop putting your coins on this shady/dodgy/dubious "exchanges"! Why are you all blind and still injecting coins on them! Look at the above posts! People are having withdrawal issues!

I bet there are zero deposit issues!

Use a wallet you have full control of.

This reminds me of this Lithium scam. He got everyone excited and ADHD-infected.
1286  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Simple PayPal to Btc on: August 04, 2017, 04:41:49 AM
Sounds like another scam. You scammers are tirelessly thinking of ways to steal money from people! Shameless filth.

1287  Economy / Exchanges / Re: export private key from Kraken on: August 03, 2017, 10:44:49 AM

Impossible. Kraken will not simply give you their private keys lol.

1288  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC.com this wallet scam?? why freeze my money 4BTC on: August 03, 2017, 08:28:35 AM

This is a perfect example supporting the golden advice of keeping bitcoins in a wallet where you have full and total control of the private keys.

ALWAYS keep your bitcoins in a wallet you and you alone control and own.

I hope (and I'm sure) you will eventually recover the 4 BTC. They're worth over 10k USD. A lot of money.

1289  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: NEW BTC EXCHANGE on: August 03, 2017, 06:18:07 AM
He won't respond to both of you wise and experienced traders. He is waiting for that naive, gullible and barely literate newbie to bite his bait and send him bitcoins first.

PS.. on skype of course
1290  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling Bitcoins for Euro SEPA-Transfer - NO VERIFICATION on: August 03, 2017, 03:50:45 AM
hey guys,

after getting some know how the last months, using euro sepa-transfers with bitcoin,
i can proudly start selling bitcoins and taking euro sepa-transfer as payment.

i know i dont have any reputation with my name, but im here to build a good one Smiley

so back to business ..

how to buy bitcoin with euro sepa-transfer:
1. answer with the amount in euro you would like to buy bitcoin with
We will engage a reputable escrow member here who can hold the bitcoins.
2. i will send you the payment details via private message
I will send the bitcoins to the escrow's bitcoin address. And when confirmed, see next step below
3. make the payment before 11am and ESCROW RELEASES the coins at 6pm same day
4. if payment was made after 11am ESCROW RELEASES the coins before 11am the next day
6. after the payment was made send me a screenshot or any proof of it and your bitcoin wallet
5. the amount of coins you will get is the bitcoin price for euro at the moment when i receive the money
6. i take 7,6 % for my service

fictional example:
1 bitcoin will cost 2500 when the payment arrives (i will take the price from https://www.coingecko.com/de/kurs_chart/bitcoin/eur)
you transfered 500 euro, that would be 0.2 btc, minus my fee, you get 0.1848 btc to your bitcoin wallet

best regards,

ckinski

Let me teach how to properly do this. See above. See? Easy.

Or were you hoping to do it differently... that is, get the money and run. Was it that?

1293  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin Arbitrage Opportunity for people based in the USA, 3 to 6 % daily profit on: August 02, 2017, 06:56:15 PM
Collateral needed for this kind of transaction. You literally just signed up here and have zero feedback and trade reputation. You cannot expect people here to simply send you bitcoins based on blind trust alone. You basically want to borrow bitcoins from someone which you intend to invest in South Africa. There are two elements of risk here: 1) The borrowing part which you need to amply secure and 2) The investing issue which is not guaranteed to yield your projected 3 to 6% daily profit.

A suitable established escrow here must hold collateral securing the bitcoins you need.
1294  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTC.com this wallet scam?? why freeze my money 4BTC on: August 02, 2017, 06:42:56 PM
Hi... if you receive a sudden flood of private messages, please be careful. Some will pretend to help you or offer a solution. Some will pretend to be staff of BTC.COM

Do not fall for any tricks or fraud. Contact BTC.COM directly and resolve the matter with them using official channels.

Again, if you get offers of any kind by PM offering to solve this problem, do not give them your BTC.COM account credentials or any private information related to your account.

1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: coinfork.io - Easy way to access the Bitcoin Cash associated with your Bitcoin on: August 02, 2017, 06:25:21 PM
When technology develops, there are always scammers who attempt to exploit and take advantage of others. Always.

This is what makes humans unique. A brain that thinks 24/7 how to take what's not theirs.
1296  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lone Shark ban evading and attempting to extort Bitcoin Cash from customers on: August 02, 2017, 04:22:05 AM
Simple, borrowers, do not send these abusive lenders bitcoin cash. Why allow them to extort you? If they do, they are plainly and simply criminals.

You owe them bitcoins. You pay back bitcoins + interest. Don't let them enrich themselves by enforcing murky out of terms demands for bitcoin cash.
1297  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: August 02, 2017, 12:33:15 AM

It's a legitimate company. I signed up and the card is on it's way.

They are registered with Lietuvos Bankas, the Bank of Lithuania which is the country's central bank:

https://www.lb.lt/en/sfi-financial-market-participants/mistertango-uab

And they have a licence to operate:

This is a followup on my earlier post -

Since I don't expect to hear from them again I will go ahead and post my email correspondence with Mistertango support (timeline is from the bottom up, names and addresses have been removed...).

Dear Support department

I started to open a MT account, and saw I needed a smart phone to confirm my ID.  Then I created a support case to ask if it is possible to use the service with a PC instead of a smart phone, but when I try to check the status of the support case the web page does not recognize my login credentials (which I also think is strange!).

Do I need a smart phone to use this service?

Sincerely,
Kanati.

A question for the forum -

Are these services truly "free" if you have to surrender your privacy and compromise your security to get them?  Roll Eyes

I opened a Mistertango account and I was very happy with the procedure. I am not royalty or a relative of the pope or the Sultan of Brunei so I am grateful and appreciate for the minimal effort and time required to open this account. I was neither asked to climb Mt Everest nor swim across the Pacific.

Positively identifying a client is a bank's core mandate and requirement. Lithuania is part of the EU and therefore observes strict KYC procedures.

The nerve and the audacity. Clients who throw tantrums or play the customer-is-king drama card are best contained quickly and advised to crawl back to that same hole they hibernated in or time-travel back to that age of no smartphones. They want this no-fee account. They want to be served in the year 2017, the age of smartphones. They want a means to move money from A to B. They want the free MasterCard. They want a bitcoin-friendly banking service. They want everything. But...

"Just don't ask me to do any work"

And then the bomb. The fellow thinks he is surrendering his privacy and compromising his security by signing up with a bank properly registered with Lietuvos Bankas, the Bank of Lithuania. He basically wants, additionally, to use a PC or some other device that will allow him (like many here) to bypass the very system which protects the bank from fraudulent applications. In his arrogant way of communicating with the bank, he makes every effort to convince the bank that HIS preferred way of doing it is the only way he wants it done. (try doing that with Citibank or Deutsche Bank or Credit Suisse or Bank of America...)

Nah, this strategy won't work. It's either you are truly throwing a tantrum OR you are attempting to fraudulently bypass Jumio, the intelligent identification system the bank has in place to thwart identity thieves.

One is best distanced from such people. Thus the third person talk.

1300  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB bulk BTC with eur cash on: July 31, 2017, 12:27:11 PM
Be careful everyone... be aware that there are criminals in Europe who prefer to meet up and then assault or endanger the lives of bitcoin sellers when they meet up. Forced to transfer the bitcoins. You would be "lucky" if it's just about the bitcoins. If the criminals happen to be far more merciless, they might want no survivor who can report and later identify them to law enforcement.

Meet up at a police station or inside a bank where bank staff can authenticate the cash. Leave nothing to chance. Europe is awash with counterfeit Euro notes (especially the EUR 50 note).  http://bit.ly/2vmAPQp

Don't meet up at parking places, hotel rooms, secluded locations or any place where you are alone and vulnerable. Don't be tempted, even if the rate offered is really good. Value your life and your bitcoin assets.
