Either these people's brains need to be examined or they simply can't understand plain and simple English.
PAYPAL and BITCOINS do NOT mix!
Again, if that was too hard to understand: stop trying to scam people with this gaypal garbage! It is a REVERSIBLE payment method and it is a scammer's tool. Trust or no trust on this forum, one fact stands true: humans are born to lie, con and take what's not theirs. Paypal is there to give those traits a boost.

Try igot http://igot.comThat is the best exchange across several currencies. LOL. You made me spew coffee all over my table. There are so many reports about their withholding of funds for excessive periods of time. And I'm being generous when I say "excessive". They do it beyond the realms of excessiveness.

Is one transaction a month enough to avoid the dormancy charges?
Yes, it is. If you make one transaction you pay $1.95 Hmmm... that makes their debit card pretty attractive, compared to any of their competitors. But why limit the issue only to Europe? What about North America, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore.etc? Bitstamp is having quite a large number of users in these regions. I just hope that they will soon make the debit card available worldwide. Why should North America be supported when U.S. banks do not allow the rest of the world to apply for American card products. You always see the telltale "SSN required. Applicants must be U.S. residents only" on all card sites, prepaid or otherwise. The rest of the world, yes. I have an account with DBS in Singapore and other Asian banks, despite non-residency. Product access privileges should be reciprocal. Why should Americans be given free and open access to the rest of the world's banking facilities when they restrict theirs to American residents only. Retaliation is sweet. I wholeheartedly support this "product not available to U.S. residents" line.

Yes, this helped a lot. Thanks.
I will complete the form and if it is approved, I will order the EUR and USD versions of the card.
So if 70% is spendable, what happens to the remaining 30% of my btc? Is this 30% non-spendable and will I need to deposit more coins to use the card again? Sorry for the many questions.. I just want to be sure and avoid some bad surprises out there, like swiping the card and ... declined. Happened once and I felt like the whole restaurant was looking at me.
And one last question. Is the BITX app on the iOS store owned by this company? When I downloaded it and tried to log in with my email, it prompted me to sign up (which I already did on the web or I wouldn't have basic verification). Would be nice to have this app on my phone so I can quickly check my BTC balance before paying with the card.

|
I signed up for this card and got "Basic" verification. A cash withdrawal limit of 1000 Euros per year is too low. How can I get the bank-approved verification level?
Another question-- I have the ANX debit card and I am not happy with the delay in loading the card. I first have to trade bitcoins and then request the card to be loaded which takes 2 to 3 days. Do I have to do the same thing with this card? Or can I use this card without waiting a few days for funds to be loaded into the card? Are the withdrawn or spent funds linked in real-time to my bitcoin balance?
If I can get the bank-approved verification level, I will go ahead and order the card (and fund my BIT-X account with a few coins). I don't like a card where I have to wait a few days for funds to be loaded. If I can spend bitcoins in real-time with this card, I don't care about the fees and will go ahead and place the order.
If I cannot get the bank-approved verification, can I order two cards with two separate and independent limits? (which basically means I get to withdraw 1000 Euros annually on each card)
If (1) I can't get bank-approved verification and can't get a second card AND (2) the cards have a delayed loading process, then I'm outta here. Not getting the card in this case.

I have $222 in my Paypal and want to sell for BTC.
I will be more than happy for an escrow but if you dont want to use escrow, you will have to go first.
~Rony
Hi, I sell btc at preev + 5% and u go first. For paypal. Pm me if interested. Go first with this guy and you can kiss your paypal funds goodbye. See his trust rating.

I am happy to give you 1btc .. but can you go first because i had to pay to my friend who will release funds to you if so i will text him for the rates. oh lord, another one. caveat emptor. red flags.. MitM offer

Don't do this. Don't sell your bitcoins to this guy.
He either just doesn't get it or his brain needs a check up. Again:
Paypal is reversible. Paypal is reversible. Paypal is reversible.
There. Three times in a row. Try to say it out loud or say it while staring at yourself in the mirror.

There's something sinister and just-not-right about this "lost 280 bucks" line followed by a smiley face.
Some serious psychology methods used by some here. Creating the impression of being the "victim". Sympathy evokes a sense of trust and that trust could be a misplaced one.
Caveat venditor. (yes, bitcoin seller be aware!)

Do NOT do this. Stinks of a first class SCAM. Lots of stories of skimmed or phished credit card information. Phished paypal account information. Let these thieves go hungry. Wonder how they can sleep at night after stuffing their bellies with stolen food.

Cointell,
I am interested however I would want the card mailed to me and a period of 7 days of waiting to be allowed. Escrow (someone trusted here on the forums) will hold 2.15 BTC and after the waiting period will release $435 worth of BTC at the time according to Bitstamp's last price at the time of the waiting period being over. If the price drops substantially and makes it so that 2.15 BTC is worth $435 only at some point during the waiting period then the funds will be immediately released to you instead of a further wait risking the value of the coins being held.
Please note, my offer is $435 converted at the end time of the waiting period, NOT 2.15 BTC (unless the exchange rate drops so much that 2.15 BTC = $435).
Let me know if interested, I run a business so I would simply pay for inventory using the card, however to prevent you from trying to chargeback the payment and all that crap I would need the card in hand plus a week for the funds to clear once the card is used.
I know this might some like a hassle of a trade and might be a low offer but it seems to be the highest and best one you've gotten so far. If you choose to decline this offer I wish you the best with using/selling it.
What the heck! This is so third-world. Very typical of the U.S. banking system. If you have the card, you use the card to purchase whatever you intend to purchase. Goods in hand are representative of a final settlement. You don't let this gentleman wait a week and go through the inconvenience of delayed receipt of his bitcoins. It's rude, inconsiderate, illiterate and pathetically paranoid. The very definitions of the U.S. financial system. It's no wonder we here in Asia have adapted chipped cards, aligned to 21st century standards, and we see Americans running around here with cards vulnerable to illegal duplication and skimming. Totally third world.

or at -6%. No, my PayPal account is not verified and I can not verify it due to banking issues. It is my moms PayPal account that is registered with my e-mail. If I connect her bank account e-Bay will basically rid her bank account of all our funds because of the stupid fees that I never paid so I can't do that to verify it. I understand if you don't want to do business but don't give me the wrap on how I'm trying to scam people. I'm not trying to scam anybody. I really need this BTC so please give me a chance. I've tried everyone on localbitcoins.com and something always gets in the way of completing the transaction. Can't use coin.mx or virwox.com because for some reason every time I try to verify either my identity or my mother's identity through the debit card it denies it and then I can only use the debit card for PIN transactions AKA PayPal. Now after reading this I'm sure you'll understand that this is the only way for me to get bitcoins and I'm not trying to scam anybody. Dunno who distrusted me on here from previous posts but those people are a bunch of morons. Somebody please give me a chance and let me buy bitcoins from them or tell me some kind of workaround for this problem (can't use eBay to buy bitcoins because PayPal account is not verified), otherwise I'm just gonna have $150 sitting on a card that I can't even use and can't withdraw the money off of it because of the identity verification problem. It's complete and utter bullcrap. Anyways, shoot me a pm if you can help me out or post here. Thanks. P.S. the BTC below is the wrong one I think. The right one is 1MNDcDgtpiuDymr8aQLxpdtykwMMB9xi9R What's with all these threads all offering to buy bitcoins and pay with PayPal? Is it a deliberate attempt to ignore the sticky on top of this forum? Or scammers fighting reality. (no, no, that sticky isn't there... or its there but i will just pretend it's not there!)

I'm sorry to offend you but I'm very far from a scammer. I just sold 17 bitcoins yesterday and it WAS ALL PayPal. If you don't have dealings with me please don't try to ruin my reputation without trying me first. I just got done writing a extremely large sub in reddit explaining my frustration with scammers, hacks and thieves that are ruining this amazing and wonderful development that was handed over to us in January 2009. Also I can show you my information on the Bitcoin Foundation. But I just ask that you please don't claim I'm something that I am not. That is not fair. Just because I'm new doesn't mean I'm a bad person!!! You guys were not always established here either. I'm here to make friends and treat people in a professional manner!!! I will get references to clear this up. Thank you
Oh my god... don't do this, guys. Just don't. This has all the hallmarks and red flags of an impending disaster. 5 btc. That's a lot of money. Love your coins, guys. Lest they fall in the wrong hands. "I just got done writing a extremely large sub in reddit explaining my frustration with scammers, hacks and thieves that are ruining this amazing and wonderful development that was handed over to us in January 2009."If you are TRULY and REALLY frustrated, then you should not be using PAYPAL at all! That's hypocrisy and a pathetic contradiction at it's very worst!

Hello scammer... uhmm (cough cough) I meant bitcoin mixer, so let me understand the modus operandi: you want people here to load bitcoins to your mixing system and then they get a Unitaco voucher which they exchange for "clean" bitcoins. So which escrow do you use on this forum? Obviously if someone wants to mix or "clean" 5 BTC (for example) then you should deposit a refundable escrow of 5 BTC to one of the reputable mods here which they can hold until you deliver the mixed coins, right? Or do you really really really think people should simply send you unescrowed coins and wait for you to mix them? In your dreams.

Is it cataracts you have? Or are you clinically blind? Or pretending the paypal-is-reversible sticky on top of this forum doesn't exist? Titles, post count, "reps", "trusts" and all this sweet talk do not carry any tangible value. Jaysus christus, these scammers are everywhere... how they can sleep at night is the million-dollar question.

Just in case your coins drop down to almost nothing by tonight, I'll buy up all your bitcoin right now for 1 dollar! No need to go on an exchange and no fees! I pay you in paypal.
Sorry, I value every dollar I have. Not accepting your totally reversible paypal. Dream on.

I'd like to skip the paypal to bank etc. crap.
And instead, give others the bitcoin to paypal etc crap? Seems like a fairly legit want. if the seller and myself can't come to an agreement to make the arrangement worthwhile, than we walk away.
"Seems like" can be a fairly deceiving phrase. Then we walk away... one richer by bitcoins and the other poorer by fiat.

Be very careful of those who arrogantly refuse to honor their obligations. Someone somewhere in Canada lost 14 btc as a result of such people.
The audacity. The shamelessness. And the thick-skinned arrogance.
Well-deserved warning there.
What this suppose to mean? Post #2 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=896143.0The audacity to brazenly continue trading here. Never ever ever ever trade with this person in a non-escrow environment.

Where can BTC or any really usable altcoin can be bought with credit card? i mean and not to be a scam, not to be charged for nothing afterwards and where you would not need to upload all your documents and bank accounts (i dont trust these btc start-ups, i can close my credit card easy but i dont want my docs to float around and be reused by ''those'' people for bad things) i dont live in usa and to say frankly i find it extremely difficult to get any crypto without insane 20+% fees like on WeSellCrypto. it so hard to do fiat -> btc that i am even willing to invest some real amount in cloudmining only to get my btc later but even then... i cant find any trustable company to accept credit card... i would go for amhash but they dont take credit cards... damn... i want more btc and no reasonable way to get it.. or just any altcoin to be exchangeble in shapeshift... it is that desperate... Uhmmm.. yeah, this is a hard question... maybe you could ask the real owner of that credit card where to buy "btc or any usable altcoin"? Two brains work better than one... Yes, I can understand the desperation and frustration... sigh sigh... can't buy the coins as fast as possible (before the real owner of that card finds out his/her information was phished)... Or maybe it might help to enhance the "moaning tactic" on the above post to lure someone somewhere to take that phished card?
