241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan’s Entertainment Giant DMM Launching Bitcoin Mining Farm and Pool on: September 09, 2017, 08:24:05 PM
Hey, Japan is the world leader in technology these days, and has been for decades now. What can we say? This is certainly not unexpected. I think they are extremely smart for backing their citizens who want to mine Bitcoin... because it allows them to get ahead of the game, and 20 years from now Japan will be super wealthy, way more than today (and they already are), because of their investment in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies today.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we do Bitcoin transactions at this moment? on: September 09, 2017, 08:22:24 PM
Buy, buy.buy, buy the dip. Forget china news! Bitcoin will rally again!

China is putting out fake news to drop the price and they will buy all the cheap coins. Cheesy

We are not stupid this is obvious and I will also buy the cheap coins thanks to China. Grin
243  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is this Cloud Mining site a scam? on: September 09, 2017, 08:21:45 PM
Hi, I recendly found this website and i'm interested to know if it withdraws or not. This site is called Ilivion and I didn't get information about it, only on youtube but nobody is saying that this is a scam.
Same thing for Scheriton.

Someone is using this websites? Does it pay?

I found some videos on YT that are showing withdrawal proofs.

Thanks for not putting a link to the site, because I can guarantee you it is a big scam. These sites only want to reach a certain amount or quota of deposits, then they shut down and take all Bitcoin from everyone for themselves. It really is sad how many people scam for Bitcoins these days... this money will not benefit them, only hurt them.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the highest amount of Bitcoin you earned? on: September 09, 2017, 08:20:25 PM
The highest amount of Bitcoin I earned at once is about 5 Bitcoin. I earned it from a bounty campaign and the coin is very successful and I made lots of Bitcoin thanks to this. Smiley
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 08, 2017, 03:41:28 PM
I do not pay any attention to such senseless what if questions. See, we can only go by what we know and not speculate random things happening which we do not know.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: September 08, 2017, 03:32:57 PM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?
I think I will spend it in the future or even now because every day is another day so many things can happen that needs money to buy important things or to pay for any services needed. But for now I will hold it because I don’t need it or sometimes I will join on different campaigns to earn more coins.

Bro, it is a lot better not to spend you Bitcoin. You should spend fiat only and save Bitcoin for the future. It will be worth a lot more someday. Smiley
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have I missed something?? Markets tanked in minutes! on: September 08, 2017, 03:25:35 PM
Such is the nature of crypto. One minute you are reaping huge profits, then you go out to eat, come back and the market tanked 10%. Cheesy
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $257 Million: Filecoin Breaks All-Time Record for ICO Funding on: September 08, 2017, 02:18:12 AM
Are the bans and warnings on ICOs gravely serious? If it is, then why are the known venture capitalists like Sequoia Capital and Andreessen Horowitz still investing millions in ICOs?

Is the Chinese, Russian, US governments and others giving these warnings because they are scared people can fund themselves without their permission and authority?

You seem to habitually fail to pay attention to important details.

That ICO began on August 10, and only $3 million was raised in past 3 days since ICO bad news.

…as accredited investors swamped the CoinList website

It is legal ICO issuance with proper disclosures and was sold only to accredited investors. It is not these scammy ICOs we’ve been seeing that are not correctly issued under appropriate exemption from registration.

More importantly, even legal token issuance will mean those tokens are restricted securities that can only be sold on regulated exchanges. They can’t be traded decentralized and thus are not a cryptocurrency.

With all die respect, $3,000,000 in 2 days is still a lot of money. That is nothing to frown over or look down upon, as you make it seem like it isn't a lot or something. Sure, it might be less than they were making, but it isn't exactly peanuts either. Tongue
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I convert my bitcoin to Ethereum? on: September 08, 2017, 01:47:20 AM
This is not worth doing. Bitcoin has always been and remains the best crypto currency for investment, especially in the long term. And at any time, despite the fluctuations in its price. Anyway bitcoin in the future brings a significant profit from-0a appreciation rate. In the etherium, you can transfer bitcoin only for the performance of specific transactions or transactions, since this is also a good and promising coin.

+1

Ethereum saw a massive rise, even faster than Bitcoin at some points, but it doesn't mean you should start using it over Bitcoin anytime soon. BTC is still king and always has been. Until something else much, much better comes along it will stay that way.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I get my EOS back: Bought it on Kraken, mistakenly sent it to ICO address on: September 08, 2017, 01:46:17 AM

My question is: How can I reclaim my tokens from the contract address I sent them to, and get them back into my own wallet?

The best option on this dude is to contact them or their support page on how you can claim back your token.

Nope. Once you send a token/coin to the wrong address it is as good as gone. You will never be able to reclaim it. That is a major point of crypto to begin with.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: September 08, 2017, 01:45:12 AM
Bitcoin will be worldwide currency, later on, Bitcoin is presently turned out to be more prominent and individuals are as of now appreciating Bitcoin and we can utilize it in each edge of the world and we trust Bitcoin will be more prevalent and more grounded  currency of the world
It seems to be true that the bitcoin will be most influential currency worldwide. Hundreds and thousands of people are entering in this world of crypto. Not now, but yes indeed, the world will be doing businesses and transactions in bitcoins. Current situation is predicting the future.

Right now though, Bitcoin is quite negligible. It sucks to say, but the reality is that 99%+ of people do not know what Bitcoin even is.
252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 08, 2017, 01:41:14 AM
When prices are falling you either hold or buy. You should sell if the price is still near the peak and then buy at the bottom of the low, to make the biggest profit.
253  Economy / Economics / Re: China resetting worlds reserve currency system on: September 08, 2017, 01:39:48 AM
I think this is a very unusual idea from china.
it is no wonder that China has become a highly developed country in the past a decade.

Yeah China is known for manipulating their currency in way no other country has been capable of doing in history. It is a big reason why they are becoming a big superpower these days.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: The phrase to describe Bitcoin on: September 08, 2017, 01:38:28 AM
In this phrase is how I explain Bitcoin in all senses.

"Bitcoin is the most free and pure form of a crowd-economy, free from the oppression of governments."

"Bitcoin is full of controversy"  This is how I describe Bitcoin.   Eversince bitcoin had been involved in several controversies.  From being first decentralized blockchain, and being the currency of illegal trades down to different opposite ideas that results in forks and splits.   The controvery of opposing political agenda of opposing groups, the segwit and higher blocks debates,  the banning of Bitcoin and eventually acceptance of China.  Bitcoin controvery never stop.

Completely disagree with you... Bitcoin is not full of controversy at all... I don't even know where you get that from. Sure, sometimes there is drama or big news, but not really a lot of controversy.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: September 07, 2017, 02:30:08 AM
This might be a bit off-topic, but I just realized how cool it will be to walk around without any cash and be able to pay for everything with your phone. You would never need to carry a big wallet with bills and coins inside, only your phone and a small card carrier like for your license, etc.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 07, 2017, 02:28:34 AM
If Bitcoin was banned, I don't know about your situation, but I would lose lots, and lots of money. Let us all hope it doesn't happen. hahaha Tongue
257  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty stuck on: September 07, 2017, 02:24:25 AM
I don't think they maintain the website anymore. I tweeted to them about it, but no response. Their last tweet was in 2015 though.

Does anyone know of a website like bitcoinwisdom that has a similar difficulty report? There's was the best.

Just because a company doesn't tweet doesn't mean they are out of business. Maybe Twitter just wasn't working for them or they are taking a break from it. Anyways, it does look like in this case they are no longer maintaining the site, which is sad as they were the best, like you said.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 06, 2017, 06:10:12 AM
If it's banned, it stays banned. Look at what happened in China two days ago with the government hitting hard on the ICOs and that caused a sudden panic in the crypto world with already existing coins plunging. That wasn't a ban but it sure did send a strong message to us.

However, I don't think any country will place an outright ban on bitcoin. Countries can only regulate its use by way of leveraging on it for its tax. They will find a way to TAX users if it ever becomes expedient. But if by fatal stroke of luck bitcoin is banned in my country, I will relocate to a country where it's allowed.

This isn't true. Just because something gets banned doesn't mean it will stay banned forever. That doesn't even make sense. If Bitcoin got banned there would be huge protests and lots of chaos. People got rich from Bitcoin and are not just going to let the government take their money away!
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And now Vietnam to legalize Bitcoin on: September 06, 2017, 06:08:43 AM
Vietnam should only outlaw the crime involving BTC not the BTC itself

Did you not read the title? Vietnam is legalizing Bitcoin, not making it illegal. This is great news, and we should be celebrating.

With that said I agree that even fiat is used for crimes. The crime itself needs to get punished, not Bitcoin which has nothin to do with it other than the fact is is pseudo-anonymous.

Chill out. I think he just misread the OP. Anyways, Vietnam is a major manufacturer and this is amazing news for Bitcoin enthusiasts like us.
260  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: September 06, 2017, 06:05:42 AM
I often fantasize about our future without central banking. I wonder about the implications though. Although many governments don't use the money properly, I do believe in central government and some level of socialist ideas.

I wonder if having central governments will be possible in a world where Bitcoin is the norm.

"I often fantasize about our future without central banking."

This will not happen within our lifetimes. It simply just won't. Well, the odds are astronomical. See, most people who were raised on cash are always going to want it. Life won't make sense without it. The final Bitcoin will be mined in 2140 and I think this would be a perfect time to kill fiat for good. Tongue
