281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: August 31, 2017, 01:37:08 AM
Why not? It only makes sense for Bitcoin to grow into a major world currency. It is built on amazing technology and should be embraced worldwide.
282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why transactions takes so long? on: August 31, 2017, 01:17:55 AM
Transactions do not all take long. IT all depends on how much of a fee you paid. If you pay a large fee then your tx will go through almost instantly, but a small fee means it could take up to or even over 24 hours in some cases. Tongue
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: August 30, 2017, 03:08:23 AM
The miners mine and hold, other mine and sell.

Investors and speculators buy, hold and sell.

You can buy random items in auctions and through the forums.

What are the reasons for the bulk of the bitcoin transfers? I read an article underlying the "dark side" of the internet and TOR network, and they seem to point out that bitcoins are now nearly the exclusive currency for the online "black market" (Note, they are not saying bitcoins are exclusively used for black market transactions)

What have you used bitcoins for?

Miner
Investor
Black Market
Other - explain

The reason why I join bitcoin is also the reason what I spend bitcoin for. My reason and my answer is that, I use bitcoin to invest to other companies and wait for my money to grow then I can own a company where I can make bitcoin. For now, I invest on markets to earn much bitcoin. That's what I spend bitcoin. Also I use it on buying things I like.

What are you investing your Bitcoins in, if you don't mind me asking? Which exchanges do you use? Which markets? Please let me know! Thank you Smiley
284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: August 30, 2017, 03:07:16 AM
I'm a bit confused.. so you're saying you regret not buying BTC when the price was low? Well, don't worry. You probably would've sold it anyways when it rose a few hundred. To get to here you would've either had to forget about them completely and just check now, or you would've made the decision NOT to sell like 10,000 times before it got here. And a bitcoin is a bitcoin.. regardless of where it's bought. Unless you buy from a scammer ;p
If you appreciate fully the bitcoin,  you will become millionaire anytime. Bitcoin is just only a thing that make your life more easy and make many people to earn fast.  If you put a lot of effort from this,  you will come up with a big money with you.

Appreciate? Bitcoin has no emotion about your appreciation so I think you better learn and think to earn more than you say things. You are expecting much of bitcoin but you must expect first in your self than bitcoin.

Right... I appreciate my bank, it doesn't mean they will give me $1,000,000 from their registers. hahaha

You need to work hard and earn Bitcoin... you need to show it your appreciation.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 millions people to become millionaires are being created in public on: August 30, 2017, 02:53:48 AM
No, this is false for many reasons. See, many Bitcoins have been lost. At least 1,000,000. Furthermore, Satoshi owns 1,000,000... that brings us down to 20,000,000 right there.

Then consider many early adopters have thousands of Bitcoins. Take out all of those, then the big billionaires and companies investing, and you are left with far less people who will become millionaires.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Created Bitcoin ? on: August 30, 2017, 02:52:17 AM
Bitcoin was created by a man who goes by "Satoshi Nakomoto", a pseudonym (most likely). This man hasn't been active on here since 2010, when he disappeared...
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 30, 2017, 02:29:45 AM
Huge Profits are never without risk, while investing realize that it could either give massive returns or you can loose all your money.
Personally i am positive on in for the long term.

I agree with you, but don't forget Bitcoin is one of if not the greatest investment in the history of Earth. There is less risk in Bitcoin than anything else, ever.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 30, 2017, 02:28:56 AM
People hold Bitcoin for the sole reason of making more profit. Why sell when the price continues growing exponentially? It makes no sense. Tongue
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & twitter on: August 30, 2017, 02:14:08 AM
My all time favorite is Bill Gates and his inspirational tweets. He had tweeted and also talked in support of Bitcoin so it's something which I liked. Apart from him McAfee is one of my favorite person to listen to on Twitter.

Sure enough, I also follow them and other people very influential around new technologies and internet...

140 characters is not a real limit, because its allows to read a lot of tweets very quickly and if something is interesting, there is always a link with the message to read the full article !

There are tons of crypto experts on Twitter. It is the main way we communicate about Bitcoin, as well as /r/Bitcoin. There are over 300,000 subscribers on Bitcoin-related subreddits (on Reddit).
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin huge fees on: August 30, 2017, 02:12:37 AM
The solution as I see it is not to use bitcoin for low value transactions.  It's
that simple.  If you can pay for something with cash, do it and you avoid
all of this mess.  Fees are one of the biggest drawbacks to using (not
necessarily owning) bitcoin.  You can't send dust anymore, and the definition
of dust is rapidly changing, no?

But the problem with this is most people need to use it for low volume transactions. Fees right now are upwards of 5% on small amounts under $100. This is simply unacceptable... needs to get fixed asap!
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spam attacks cost money, how much money do these people have? on: August 26, 2017, 05:24:20 PM
Blackhat hackers don't care about how much money it costs for something they only want to make sure they inflict more damage than they spent.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally legal in India on: August 26, 2017, 05:23:48 PM
I would like to congratulate India on this. See, many countries still do not approve of Bitcoin and some are even looking to make it illegal. India is definitely growing very fast and I expect it to become a superpower in the next few decades for sure.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents disagree with MMO – Make Money Online and Bitcoin ? on: August 26, 2017, 05:22:51 PM
At some point you must do what you feel or know is right for YOU. You should also obey your parents, but when they tell you to do something you know is wrong then you need to follow your heart.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a multi millionaire because of NEM XEM on: August 26, 2017, 05:21:58 PM
What you did is the smartest thing anyone in crypto can do. Seriously, buying altcoins and holding or even Bitcoin for that matter and just forget about it, come back in a few years and you will be very rich. I can't tell you how many times I have heard your story.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: August 25, 2017, 09:20:45 PM
Bitcoin is more than money. It is virtual gold. It is a valuable commodity. It should be on the new channels when they run financial markets.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Blockchain Unconfirmed transaction since yesterday paid good fee too on: August 25, 2017, 09:18:51 PM

I'm so worried i tried 2 transactions but still both didn't get any single confirmation. I paid decent fee but still not going through. I'm so worried guys because i have to pay my invoice urgently!

Is there any way anybody help me? I'm ready to pay you too. Coz it is not about some bucks.

Do not worry about it. The fee is so high now (450 sat/byte) you should not expect to get confirmation for AT LEAST 24 hours. After 24 hours, then you could start looking into it especially if your fee was under 50sat/byte but the thing is even at 50+ it will go through eventually especially on the weekend because transactions slow down a lot then and overnight. You say you paid a decent fee, so it will go through just give it time. Wink
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your dog for 100,000 usd in btc ? on: August 25, 2017, 09:16:57 PM
I would not sell my dog if he helped me a lot for example if he keeps me safe I would not but I don't have a dog anyways, therefore I couldn't say. Tongue
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 25, 2017, 09:03:34 PM
The only way to become rich instantly is if you win the lottery and this is a very stupid way to spend your money as the odds are always against you. Tongue
299  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to win Bitcoins with Signature Campaigns ??? on: August 25, 2017, 08:36:07 PM
Simple. You should make your account level Member first because there are not many good openings or opportunities I should say for Jr. Members and Newbies. Then, you need to find a sig campaign that is open for your rank and apply in the thread. If you get accepted (make sure you have signature in profile) then you will make Bitcoins. Smiley
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when we hit 21,000,000 bitcoins? on: August 25, 2017, 08:34:19 PM
When we hit 21,000,000 Bitcoins people will stop mining as much because there will be no more reward excepts transaction fees.
