Anyone can give me some exemple of hashrate ? Cause I get only 0,3 kh/s with my GTX680.

Try pointing to a different kernel in your .bat file, or .conf file. That's what I had to do. Could you post an example of your .bat line?

Yes if you want. As soon as I come back home.
K, thanks.

Wow! You are the man WigitGetIt! I have NEVER been able to get sgminer to work on my GPU. I have had to use an outdated cgminer that doesn't perform well at all. The speeds aren't exactly astonishing, but at least it works. I will have to do some tweaking. I am just glad that I am able to get it to work. Thanks.
BTW, I have an MSI R9 280 GAMING 3G 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express GPU. Not sure exactly what the benchmark is for it, but at least it works.

Edit: Oh Brussel Sprouts! I can't seem to get the Image thingy working, so posted below is the text of the Command Prompt output.

Awesome.  Glad I could help. djm34 deserves all the credit.   Grin

Yeah I do not expect to see huge hash rates.  We don't believe that GPU will ever have a huge advantage over CPU.  But further developments and tweaking of both CPU and GPU will be coming.  As far as mining gores we want to partner with a company and develop specific mining hardware for yescrypt.  That is a bit down the road, but it has been discussed off and on.

Next thing that we have planned are listed below.

This will be contracted out:  Multi-sig Online Wallets (Improve on what we have)
Pollforall: Working on yesmines.com (Multipool for mining other coins for BSTY)
bstdev:  New BSTY qt wallet to be compatible with the latest bitcoin code 0.10.0 and porting yescrypt to java for Android wallet.

Awesome! Sounds like the future of BSTY is going to be fun. Good work all, keep it up!

825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NeuCoin - Easy to use, free to try, focused on micropayments - Official on: May 04, 2015, 01:10:26 AM
Exactly.  non profit doesn't mean that much as they could still have whatever staff costs (including executive staff) they desire.

What I find disdainful about neucoin is the dishonesty.  There is nothing technically innovative about it, yet they claimed there is. If they wanted to do a coin based around mass marketing and adoption, they should have simply stated that with full transparency without the bogus claims of solving proof of stake issues.

Also, the idea that they are going to get more adoption than Bitcoin in one year is not plausible to me.  Its overhyped claims and promises being sold here.

Fair enough. I do, I really do, see your points. And I agree, their papers and media releases seem like a politician going for a term run - not sure of which platform on which to stand. For me, however, I do see some innovation and creativity, but to each their own. My main point is that they will be trying to boost the adoption of the common consumer. Sure, I don't see how they will garner the adoption of Bitcoin in one year. Bitcoin was, and still is king in that department. However, Bitcoin was the first, the innovater, the noveau concept that just made you want to jump in, even if you didn't fully know what it was yet. I believe that NeuCoin will try to accomplish wider adoption with education that Bitcoin was lacking in through its first years.
Yes, NeuCoin is making some very big claims, and I agree that it will be next to impossible to accomplish, but I for one am glad that their is at least another company in the fray trying to reach the common consumer. If everyone knew and understood the process behind crypto - from acquiring it all the way down to what utilities it could serve, I believe we would all be better off.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NeuCoin - Easy to use, free to try, focused on micropayments - Official on: May 03, 2015, 11:57:38 PM
I believe that for a cryptocurrency or alternate payment system to be successful, and to really achieve what the true aim of cryptocurrency is - decentralization not issued by any central authority, immune to government interference or manipulation. A currency for the people, by the people, and governed by the people - not by some bigwig, money grubbing, "we make the rules" authority

So lets see here... neucoin team is keeping 2 billion coins to themselves while selling 100 million to the public (for about $900,000)...Can you explain again how is this coin is not "issued by a bigwig money grubing authority" ?  What am I missing?

And I do agree with you wholeheartedly jonald. 2 billion coins seems like a classic hoard of the diamonds before the peons get the dust. However, at least as I read it, or what they say, if they are to be believed at least, those pre-mined coins will be used to fund expenditures of the three NeuCoin foundations - the NeuCoin Code Foundation, the NeuCoin Growth Foundation, and the NeuCoin Utility Foundation, which, I might add, are Non-Profit. It is not like a greedy developer premining 2 billion coins so as to cash in greatly when the prices rise. These coins will fund the growth and development of the coin and its organization.
Again, 2 billion coins seems like an enormous overkill, and I think they should have rethought that figure a little more before going live with the public announcement and sale. Either they are devaluing the cost of the coin after launch, or they are overinflating what it takes to run a day to day operation, not sure which. All I have to offer is again, that the foundations are determined Non-Profit. Looking at a lot of Non-Profit organizations in today's society, however, is not very assuring. So we will just have to see.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NeuCoin - Easy to use, free to try, focused on micropayments - Official on: May 03, 2015, 11:37:51 PM
But I implore you, look at the bigger picture, and ask yourself - "Would not cryptocurrency and this whole creation of giving the control back to the people benefit more from a wider adoption by the common man?"... And I believe NeuCoin is one of the companies leading the way.

Sorry to say this, but you have not understood one tiny little bit of the NeuCoin-concept.

And what, Sir, might I have missed. I only touched on a few key points that are of interest to me. I fully understand that there is more, oh so much more behind their strategy, but my post merely emphasized the adoption of cryptocurrency by the common consumer. This is what I believe will drive the growth of cryptocurrency, today, and into the future. The more people know about and understand what cryptocurrency is, how to obtain it, and how to use it, the more it will be adopted into the mainstream of the common consumer, not just the core technical clientele.
  From Neucoin.org I quote -
"NeuCoin believes that a digital currency could achieve mainstream adoption if it were free to try out, easy to use, and offered some real, immediate utility to make consumers want to come back for more. This is NeuCoin’s vision.
NeuCoin’s plan to get there is to use coin distribution as a strategic tool to create a virtuous cycle of token buyers and adoption that keeps growing the cryptocurrency’s utility. By using the foundations’ pre-mined coins and capital from buyers to build real utility for regular consumers and effectively acquire and retain mainstream users, NeuCoin aims to be the first digital currency to reach mass adoption."
So forgive my ineptitude, but do please enlighten me. I am always open and willing to learn more.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NeuCoin - Easy to use, free to try, focused on micropayments - Official on: May 03, 2015, 06:30:56 AM
Such hatred and disdain for a coin that looks promising. I don't really get it. Sure, some of the factors behind Neucoin are a rehash, if I may, of coins that come before. However, I do think that they have some innovative approaches to some of the failings of prior cryptocurrency. If you want to get in, get in. If not, well, sit back and watch us early adopters cry over our spilled milk if it should falter. I personally have invested 1.5BTC in this project. Not a lot by anyone's standard, but I believe that in the end, it will be an investment that at least breaks a little above even. I acquired said 1.5BTC just the same as I have in many of my financial dealings and investments. I took risks. Some less risky and with a shorter span of ROI, but in the end, I knew what I was getting into.
I believe that one of the core factors of Neucoin is what every new cryptocurrency should adopt. Marketing and wide market awareness. I have seen many coins, including just recently, make an [ANN] thread, and boom - "Let's start POW" or "Let's start POS". No reaching out to the public with general marketing, name recognition, and a "brand" image. Were those coins successful? Some were - most were not. I believe that for a cryptocurrency or alternate payment system to be successful, and to really achieve what the true aim of cryptocurrency is - decentralization not issued by any central authority, immune to government interference or manipulation. A currency for the people, by the people, and governed by the people - not by some bigwig, money grubbing, "we make the rules" authority that could care less about the average citizen - it needs to reach the full scope of the public for which it was created to benefit. IMHO, NeuCoin has started the ball rolling by reaching out to the people with marketing, transparency, and a desire to educate those that otherwise wouldn't even know what cryptocurrency is even about.
I am new to mining, and cryptocurrency in general, so I am not at all an authority on the ways and means of this great creation that is beginning to take hold worldwide. As more and more people are educated and can truly understand at least the basics behind an alternate currency system, the more promising cryptocurrency will become. I applaud NeuCoin for taking the extra steps in getting the message "out there" to the general public. Some of the things, I might not agree with some aspects, but you take the good with the bad. Adjustments will have to be made. Paths will have to be re-directed. In the end, however, I believe NeuCoin is on a track for success.
That all being said. Flame me if you will. But I implore you, look at the bigger picture, and ask yourself - "Would not cryptocurrency and this whole creation of giving the control back to the people benefit more from a wider adoption by the common man?" "Would not it be grand if everyone, from Joe the Plumber, to Margeurite the Florist, knew that there was a better, and in that same token, a simpler way?" I bid you yes. This is how this system will grow and thrive and become the next, possibly replacement, of monetary transactions.
Thank you for allowing me to put in my two cents. If I have offended anyone, I apologize. This was not meant as an angry rant, or noxious hatepost. I am just offering my opinion on what I believe needs to happen in order for crytocurrency to grow and become a well established system. And I believe NeuCoin is one of the companies leading the way. Thanks, and have a great rest of your weekend.

Dump or buy? Dump or buy? Oh wait, I just got 1DOX for staking. Think I'll hold on to me precious coins. BTW, I like the name anyway. Got a ring to it. DOX, the choice of a new POS generation. :-P

P.S. I'm now offficially liking mining. I told the old lady those Gridseed 40-chip ASIC'S would come in handy. She doesn't know it, but she deep down loves my Geekiness.

im losing hope in crypto...lets see if this can redeem it a bit

I'm new to mining, you have probably been doing it for a while. I didn't experience the fallout, so I can see where you are coming from as far as losing hope. Right now I have a few Gridseed 40-chip ASIC'S, a few GAWMiners Fury's, a few Gridseed 5-chip Orb's, running. The electricity bill is really not bad, I come out ahead. So maybe crypto is having a restart, or I am just disallusioned, not sure which. :-) Along with the news that SFARDS is about to come out with an ASIC that will take care of the electricity woes, I am excited. We will see what the future holds.

@WigitGetIt Yep, thanks. Confirmations have started to show up. It just took a very long time. Like I said, I guess I was just used to the other coin I was mining showing up almost instantaneously. Everything is straight now, and I can see confirmed coins, so all good to go. Thanks very much for your help.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: $BSTY @GLOBALBOOST® DuckDuckGo Bittrex Yescrypt Social Networks Manager™ Yesmines on: April 25, 2015, 05:47:07 PM
Just a quick question, if someone may help. First, though, I am glad to help in any way for what this coin stands for. I think you all have done a great job so far. I am fairly new to mining, and am trying my best to learn all the lingo and tips and tricks, but it get's frustrating sometimes. I am almost 50, and up until 6 months ago, I had never even heard of Alternate cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, or even mining. I am trying not to succumb to the old saying "you can't teach an old dog new tricks".  Grin
That aside though, I am mining with a newer I7 machine and so far it has been doing pretty good with CPU only coin. I started mining GlobalBoost-Y and my hash rate seems to have plummeted. I assume that it is due to the fact that it is a different Algo. I am currently mining on Nonce-Pool, and only hash about 6 KH/s. Does that seem right for a machine that was doing around 100 for the M7M algorithm?
Secondly, I started on Nonce-Pool over 24 hours ago, and none of my balance has been confirmed so far. It is all showing as unconfirmed. I know that the blocks have to go through a set number of confirmations (120 I think) before the person mining will get a confirmed balance. It just seems strange that it is taking so long. Normally I would have at least a total of 1 confirmed coins in my account by this time.
So be it, I am just asking if anyone might be able to help with an answer. I am not mining to get rich, it is just a sort of time passer-by at this point. I have some ASIC machines mining other cryptocurrencies, but nothing really big. Thanks for any help, and again, great work on BSTY.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Entry-level Scrypt Miner? on: March 10, 2015, 06:40:32 PM
I've just started mining, and for me, the Gridseed ASICS (GC3355) have been pretty entry level. It takes some fiddling with the drivers and such, but I have gotten up and running with relatively few complications. Power consumption and footprint are quite low if you use scrypt only mode, and you can't seem to overheat  them no matter what you do.

Edit:  Sorry, atp1916 I didn't see your post right above mine. Agreed with you, they're quite simple.

Nice! And I thought I'd seen it all. What'd make it even better would be if you were selling it for BitCoin. I don't know the laws in CA, but here in SC, it would be considered illegal to not only sell the stuff, but even to have in your possession supplies that could be deemed suited to make it. I.E. Copper tubing, abundance of sugar or yeast, etc.  Grin
It looks to be of fine grade, very clear. By the way, here in SC many folk make it, but shh, don't tell the revenuer man. Tell your buddy to enjoy those squirrels with a side of shine.
