I took a quick peek through the source, and it looks good. I'll compile it and give it a shot; looks like a useful tool.
922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Putting your money where Pirate's mouth is. on: July 08, 2012, 09:36:37 PM
Okay, now the thread-flooding crew is here. It's just the bet thread. If you're looking for what's limiting user influx, it's called saturation. Tongue
Funny that you mentioned that the "thread flooding crew" had just arrived after my single post. I'll have you know that I am an army of one, and I bring along no sockpuppets to support my positions.

I'm not even going to tell you to give up and default. Your choice, risk it if you wish. Hell if I care whether funds end up with the "early investors" or the great pirate, it's similarly insane. In one case, I get the funky show for a while longer.

It might be a problem though that your users don't know you hate them for taunting me, and I have no need to shut up after the bet. I'm not going to make a ruckus on my own, but will respond to attacks just like always, so if they keep doing it, it's your problem for using people who don't know what side they're on. Cool

Great!... except I think you have said that before and promptly forgotten about it. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
923  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Putting your money where Pirate's mouth is. on: July 08, 2012, 09:29:27 PM
I beg to disagree... They weren't random at all. They were pretty well targeted, I would say.
I am sorry, let me correct it to
"a row of insults aimed at the other side in a discussion"
Where else do you normally aim an insult? Huh
924  Economy / Securities / Re: BTCSYN reports a $12k (1,852 BTC) theft on: July 08, 2012, 12:15:55 PM
So has anyone poked around on 130.83.54.115 yet? I haven't done much looking other than to see whether it is a Tor node (it isn't).
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hard Knock Life for Bitcoiners by Xenland [Music Video] on: July 08, 2012, 12:05:21 PM
Hire someone from the "'hood" to do the vocals over a dubstep mix.
926  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitcoinAdvertisers.com BitcoinAdvertising.com SCAM on: July 08, 2012, 12:04:15 PM
mmm and any idea about why the equal design? maybe they both used the same template?
Yes, twitter bootstrap, although I'm not sure why most of the colors are the same as well.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [btc]1 or 1[btc]? on: July 08, 2012, 12:01:44 PM
The french canadians write the dollar sign after the amount. (100,00 $ instead of $100.00)
928  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitcoinAdvertisers.com BitcoinAdvertising.com SCAM on: July 08, 2012, 11:54:30 AM

930  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will ASIC mining destroy Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2012, 01:47:35 AM
Moores law man (kinda). At some point ASIC will become the "new" GPU and it will have to be upgraded or completely changed at some point. Will it destroy bitcoin? That was just a title to entice readers. It will only strengthen competition for miners which can only be good right?
And what can be wrong with strengthening the power of the miners? It will only make it more difficult for a 51% attack.
Correct, and I don't know why other users find it so hard to figure this out.
931  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 13 ATI 5870s with fans and shrouds removed on: July 08, 2012, 01:45:27 AM
Sad that (supposed) ASICs killed this awesome rig (that I built a fan controller for).

Ahh well, +1 for rjk, he's a good guy.
I still have the fans and the controller, and they still work. I might be able to use them in a different project, maybe something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSllkFWVhJI
932  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will the CGMINER developer get a loaner unit from BFL? on: July 08, 2012, 12:47:26 AM
OK, kind of new I should have stuck to supporting kano and con for their cgminer work and just STFU on Luke.

Good call, my bad, carry on.

I honestly have no f'in clue what Luke does, so I won't comment about him again.
I took CGMiner, the GPU miner, and rewrote significant pieces to make it modular and support FPGAs additionally. Everything FPGA-related in CGMiner is based on that work, but Con has opted to fork it in CGMiner and force me to continue the original modular/FPGA project independently as BFGMiner. Don't buy into the trolls and their FUD. Despite Con's renewed interest in maintaining CGMiner as a fork of BFGMiner now that he realizes GPUs are history, the original (BFGMiner) is still better. Wink
You ought to be hanged from a tree for making it sound as though you were the original writer of cgminer. Quit using such weasel language.
933  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL ASIC Preorder Survey! on: July 07, 2012, 11:57:55 PM
1000 Jalapenos from one person would be absurd, unless they were some kind of expensive promotional giveaway. The big rig is so much more cost effective.

OK, payment received from Leezyist - http://blockchain.info/tx-index/11536624/1f0bfe2b7cccd07e5d06b0ba3232ac0ab415a8253d7ca667f6bce5ffe0cb2d0d

Actually since the exchange rate has gone up, I'll be refunding 4 pretty soon.
935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Putting your money where Pirate's mouth is. on: July 07, 2012, 11:47:40 PM
Pirate's operation was running way before he opened a forum thread; it was all IRC and there wasn't even a website at first.

I'm pretty sure it's a fake name
Why?

Sarcasm Tongue
Why do you think I inserted the quote about the data being taken from the Texas Secretary of State?
Damn internets. I want to meet all of you guys in a huge stadium somewhere, that would fix the issues with sarcasm once and for all! Imagine all the noise and shouting lol.

Are the remaining 5 up for grabs or are you waiting on Leezyist?
Leezyist says he is waiting on BTC-e, but also wishes to use an escrow, however he hasn't told me who the escrow is supposed to be, and only responds to messages once every 12 hours or so, so it it really slow going. At this point I just want to get rid of them but I don't want to be a shady seller by pulling the rug out from someone that has a deal going. What do you guys think?

You twit, the thread relates to boards and moderation, so that's why it stays in Meta.
